I never was contacted by GM that a recall was made for my truck, by email or mail. The last two extended warranty 111k miles or May 7, 2029) repairs made by the dealer, the repair paperwork order states a “ Recall” exists but the dealer elects not to perform the repairs @ 44k miles. Recall: Perform Factory Recall 212349710 ECM Fastners missing or loose. I’ve searched cannot find this recall or any recalls.

Rear window leaks severely causing electrical issues. This is a known issue for almost 10 years now with multiple TSB’s about this problem across this vehicle platform. The repair for this is over $1000 often times. This should be a recall. We the consumers should not be stuck footing this bill when GM is well aware that this window causes issues and refuses to make a fix to keep this from happening. Especially, seeing that it typically does not seem to happen during the warranty period of the vehicle. My vehicle is less than 3 years old but now over the mileage cutoff and I was just quoted 1000-1500 to repair this very well know issue. GM needs to be liable for this faulty design.
The braking system is very weak given the towing and load rating on the truck. Emergency stopping is at times questionable. It seems there is almost no braking from the front axle of the truck. In 80000 miles the front brakes are still over 75% pad left with the rear brakes now being on the second set. I have had the dealership Chevrolet of Canton look into this and they tell me that is how this trick is designed to work. This is the first truck I have ever owned that used the rear brakes more 4 times faster than the front brakes. This is an issue that GM needs to look into.
The brakes really seem to be lacking stopping power unloaded and especially while towing a 30' gooseneck loaded. I even have the brake controller set to 10 and it really takes awhile to stop. I have to deliberately leave even more room in front of me to make sure I can stop.
The contact owns a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. The contact stated that the tailgate intermittently opened while driving at various speeds. Upon investigation, the contact discovered that the failure was related to the tailgate electronic switch, allowing the tailgate to open or close independently. The contact was concerned that the tailgate could present a hazard to other drivers if the tailgate opened unexpectedly. The dealer was notified of the failure and provided the contact with an estimate for the repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V060000 (Latches/Locks/Linkages). The contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 85,000.
I was driving on freeway in rain, rear end of truck kicked out sideways due to hydroplane, I hit the cement median in the front of truck, spun around and the back end also hit median. I have $25,000 in damage and the frame is bent in 3 locations, however airbags didn't deploy. 1) Airbags didn't deploy, and yes available for inspection. 2) I think airbags should have gone off, all 4 of us hit our heads on something. 3) No, I mentioned it to them, but nothing has been done. 4) No inspection has been completed. 5) No, there were no warning lights or messages prior to the failure.

I recieved a recall notice for this vehicle. When I went to my local dealership {Michael Hohl GMC Carson City Nevada} I was told that I would be better off to wait until my transmission fails because the repair parts are almost non existant. I am now reluctant to drive my $90,000 truck because of an inevitable rear wheel lockup situation.
Pulled in drive way and tailgate open light came on and noises was coming from rear or truck. I have a bed cover so I could not see tailgate but it was beeping, going up and down on it own. I finally pulled the fuse to get it stopped. Seen the recall and though all would be good BUT NO they say my truck is not on recall list evan though its doing the exact thing recall is for.

ATC LED Trailer running lights drop out after 2 or so hours of operation. The Trailer is being towed by a 2022 Silverado High Country 3500. I have had the Silverado into Serra Whelan Chevrolet to check the trucks trailer lighting system, said they thought it was the trailer, on 5/10/22. Talked with the service person there and he recommended I purchase a Curt resistance jumper plug part number 57003 because this is an issue with the truck not being able to see the low current drawing LED running lights. I bought the Curt part number 57003 and installed it between the truck and trailer plug. The running lights now drop our after about two hours of operation. I contacted Chevrolet customer service and started an issue # 9-10551955094 on 08/24/2023. Am going to try having Serra Whelan Chevrolet look at the trucks light circuit again. This is a serious safety issue, no trailer tail lights at night. This is an open issue not resolved by GM, I can only safely drive this trailer truck combination during the day, running lights drop out after around two hours of truck trailer operation...no solution has been found as yet.
The auto dimming mirrors have no shut off on them. At night they dim so much you can’t see out of the mirrors. This is so bad I quit driving this truck at night after jack knifing my trailer when my porch light dimmed my mirrors.

I was following a vehicle at 3-4 car lengths at 35 MPH. The vehicle in front made an aggressive stop and although I immediately saw the incident, I could not stop in time with a full panic stop by pressing the brakes hard to the floor. My brakes felt greasy and even though I had enough separation, the truck did not decelerate much. I felt the anti-lock mechanism but it did not seem to slow the vehicle.
