Around the end of May 2026, my vehicle stalled without warning while traveling at highway speed. The engine light and EPS warning light illuminated simultaneously. The failure has been confirmed by the dealership. Hyundai Motor America acknowledged the engine failure falls under the TXXI Settlement Agreement and offered a buyback or cash settlement. However, Hyundai has had physical possession of my vehicle since June 15, 2026 and has repeatedly failed to provide a written buyback offer despite multiple commitments to do so. Prior warning signs included the engine and EPS lights activating at the moment of failure. No prior warning lamps appeared before that day. The vehicle has 2 open safety recalls as of the date of purchase in November 2025.Read more

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The specific component has not yet been identified. The issue involves unexplained water intrusion into the vehicle’s floor pan under normal operating conditions. The vehicle is available for inspect
... ion upon request. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? Water intrusion into the cabin creates potential safety risks, including exposure of electrical systems to moisture, possible corrosion of critical components, and degradation of interior air quality (e.g., mold). These conditions could affect vehicle reliability and occupant safety. The last time that I drove it the brakes were engaging randomly and forcefully. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? The vehicle has been inspected by a dealership; however, the source of the water intrusion has not been identified or confirmed, and responsibility has not been accepted. Neither did the dealership provide requested documentation of the leak test. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? The dealership has inspected the vehicle, and a claim has been submitted to my insurance carrier. Volvo corporate has opened a case but has not conducted a technical inspection or provided findings to date. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? Yes, there were both warning lamps and messages, and the dealership serviced and claimed that it was 90% fixed and were just waiting for a small component. They said that I could resume driving it, then the problem got worse.Read more

I am reporting a potential safety defect related to premature rear tire wear on my 2024 Tesla Model Y Performance At 15,482 miles, on May 2, 2025, Tesla’s Paramus, NJ Service Center confirmed an alignment issue and performed a four-wheel alignment. At the same visit, they replaced both rear tires
... with Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4 275/35R21 103W XL and sold me a Tire Protection Plan for those tires (Tesla invoice #XXX). tesla_invoiceXXX The vehicle now has 24,460 miles. The rear tires have worn out in less than 10,000 miles and about 7 months since the alignment and replacement. The tread wear is excessive and uneven compared with the front tires, and is inconsistent with the normal expected life (around 20,000+ miles) of these tires. This appears to indicate an ongoing alignment or suspension issue that is causing abnormal rear tire wear. Rapid rear tire wear on this vehicle could lead to loss of traction, especially in wet conditions, and therefore represents a safety risk. I am requesting that NHTSA review this complaint in case it reflects a broader issue with rear tire wear/alignment on Tesla Model Y Performance vehicles.Read more

I own a 2025 Ford F-150 Lariat equipped with the factory Tow Package. The truck was sold to me and later serviced under the representation that the trailer brake controller was functional. Duvall Ford in Clayton, GA installed and programmed only a brake controller switch and assured me the trailer
... brakes were working, without performing a functional brake output test. The truck was later found to be missing the required Trailer Brake Control Module (TBCM), meaning no trailer brakes could ever function. As a result, I unknowingly towed a 30-foot travel trailer from North Carolina to California, across multiple states with zero trailer braking, creating multiple dangerous situations and close calls. Upon reaching California, Aaron Ford of Escondido inspected the vehicle and immediately identified the missing TBCM. They performed the proper repair, with an invoice of $1,043.00. The original dealer’s incomplete and incorrect service directly created this safety hazard. This issue may affect other F-150 trucks that were sold or serviced with incomplete brake controller systems due to Ford’s mislabeled parts catalog.Read more

My vehicle is affected by Recall 25V437. I am already experiencing recall-related symptoms, including stuttering, unusual engine noises, and uneven acceleration. I leased the vehicle through DFW Auto and Services INC, On August 15, 2025, at 9:35 AM, I spoke with Sam in the finance department of DF
... W Auto and Services INC during a 3‑minute call from 214‑205‑7327. I specifically asked about the recall affecting this vehicle. Sam stated that the recall had been “taken care of.” This was false, as Recall 25V437 remains open and unresolved. The dealership misrepresented the recall status of my vehicle, failed to disclose that Recall 25V437 remained open, and delivered a defective product – a vehicle with a known safety defect that directly impacts usability, value, and consumer safety. On November 18, 2025, I submitted a formal complaint to the Attorney General regarding this matter. This misrepresentation placed me at risk of driving a vehicle with a known safety defect that could result in sudden engine failure or fire. I am requesting NHTSA to investigate the dealer’s misrepresentation and ensure proper enforcement of Recall 25V437. This recall must be remedied at no cost to me. I have contacted: Crest Infiniti 6100 State Highway 121, Frisco, TX 75034 to have Recall 25V437 remedied. I am currently still waiting response from the service center for an appointment to have the engine replaced.Read more

The first time this happened I was going down the road and the vehicle started sputtering, the emergency brake light came on the dash and the car shut off. It has a rough idle when you start it. I am terrified of this car. I have grandbabies in the car with me, Had i been on the highway either time i would have caused a terrible accident.
