The front doors come open while driving down the road in cold weather. Multiple dealerships have to me to just deal with it. My children have to hold the doors shut while we are going down the road or I have to hold the driver's door shut while driving. There was a recall issued for certain 2023 F-350's regarding a door latch mechanism malfunction but apparently it doesn't apply to my pickup even though me doors don't stay shut while driving and multiple dealerships tell me there is nothing, they can do to fix it. When one of us gets hurt, falls off, or has a door hit by oncoming traffic, what am I supposed to do? The safety of my children does not matter to Ford motor company or their Montana dealerships. It happens regularly, not just once. Speed is not a factor, I can be driving 5 mph or 75 mph when it happens.

EXTERIOR LIGHTING Mar 31, 2025
This is a 2023 Ford F350 XLT vehicle. The low beam headlights do not put out sufficient light and are dangerous. I visited with the Ford dealership in Sunrise, Florida called Sawgrass Ford who told me that the previous owner changed the light source out to an LED light in an effort to gain more light. We both agreed that this did not help. In my research online it appears that this problem is limited to the XLT model. Apparently the Lariat, King Ranch, etc models have different headlights. There does not appear to be a recall on these headlights. I contacted Ford directly who advised me to go to a different dealer which won't help unless these are changed out. The vehicle currently has less than 35000 miles and is still under warranty.

While driving on a highway on two occasions my truck suddenly displayed low fuel pressure. I lost complete engine power. First occasion ford said was fuel control module. Second occurrence same thing was on [XXX] low fuel pressure signal and engine stopped working. Been in touch with fullerton ford in somerville where vehicle was subsequently towed to. Representative stated it is the low pressure fuel pump that is causing the intermittently loss of pressure. Almost got killed on the highway trying to get over to the shoulder with the sudden loss of engine power due to loss of fuel pressure. Vehicle still at dealer unknown if part has been replaced. Multiple electrical issues related to dashboard controls, video sensors, head unit. Controls powering down while driving, sensors throwing multiple error messages. All since 1,500 miles. Ford could not figure out what the issue was so they replaced the wiring harness. After 2 months in the shop I got my vehicle back. 2 weeks later I am getting the same error messages in the dash and has to go back into the shop for the same reason.

Front doors will not close and latch when it is cold outside. Multiple dealerships have told me there is nothing that they can do to fix this issue. Doors will come open while driving if they don't latch. I often have to use a ratchet strap to keep doors shut from the inside while driving in cold weather. Apparently, according to Ford, I am a stupid girl that should just live with this issue and wait for my kids to fall out of my pickup.

My dash and head unit intermittently powers down then reboots both while I am parked and driving. It also gives a message saying it may not start up or something about low power mode, front camera error and pro assist error. I purchased my vehicle in Mar 2024 and it started around 3K miles. I've reached out to several dealerships about getting it repaired since it's under warranty and they can't even diagnose it without keeping my vehicles for days with no guarantee of any timelines. Since it need my vehicle for work and none of them will provide loners or rentals haven't been able to get the problem remedied. For some reason they need to hold on to my vehicle for days until they can even diagnose it and I can't make an appointment just to drop it off when there is a bay open. I reached out to Ford directly to see if I can get them to cover a rental car and they refused. I also asked if I can take it outside of the Ford service network because I can get it serviced faster and they said no since it is standard warranty. So I'm held hostage forced to use their service when they can't provide service timely. I have more pictures and videos as evidence.

This truck has 20,000 miles. I experienced what’s called the death wobble which nearly shook the truck off the road. The dealership told me a $2000 dollar duel steering stabilizer would fix the problem. I reluctantly payed for it as they said the lift voided the warranty. The truck is still not fixed and my wife nearly went off the road today driving it. I read online that a stabilizer doesn’t fix the problem it only masks the symptoms. I’m certain the dealership knows this.

The day after purchasing a new 2023 ford f-350 on April 24,2023 from Eau Claire ford, I noticed several areas when the rear seats were lifted that were void of carpeting. One of these areas, the center hole has exposed sheet metal with extremely sharp edges going into the floor pans. Eau claire ford was notified of this on April 25th,2023 and Ford was notified on May 3rd, 2023 and a case was opened CAS-42613123-F4N9K9.It has now been 11 months and Ford has done nothing to resolve this problem. The exposed sheet metal is extremely sharp and is dangerous when leaning into the rear area to retrieve items. A small child could easily loose a finger or get cut by this being exposed.

I intermittently lose trailer brakes when towing my trailers on my 2023 Ford F350. I have two trailers and both trailers give me intermittent faults saying "trailer disconnected' or "trailer turn signal lights not working", but the trailer is connected and the lights are working - but the brakes do not. I know this is a truck issue because both trailers have no issues with my 2017 Toyota Tundra. I have independently tested this theory with both trucks and trailers multiple times but only have the issue on the Ford truck. It seems to either be a bad 7-pin connector that randomly faults, or something with the trailer brake controller. It is very scary as I do not want to lose brakes when towing. I bought this truck specifically for towing my trailers. I have taken the issue to Auburn Ford, here in Auburn California and they tested the truck and found no issues. But my hunch is they are only using a 7-pin simulator, not an actual trailer.

The issue I am reporting concerns the management of the climate control in the vehicle. Setting a desired driver and/or passenger temperature setting is fruitless as the temperature will swing wildly on either side randomly either rendering the output to become extremely hot or cold. The safety concern is the ongoing requirement to continually adjust the settings to manage the wild swings in temperature which has been extremely concerning (dangerous) on longer commutes, tight traffic and in trailering as I must continually take my eyes off the road to adjust. The dealership has attempted to address the concern unsuccessfully and Ford will not acknowledge the concern. I am aware of and in contact with at least 4 other owners of the exact year, model, trim, options etc. with exactly the same concern and none able to obtain resolution or acknowledgement. Again, this truck is a large truck and when trailering a 40' load all attention must be on the road not fidgeting with a/c controls. Extremely unsafe. The issue arose within one week of taking delivery of the new vehicle and has continued for 7+ months without resolution. I have videos of the events occurring and have presented those to the dealership but am also told no codes are showing up during these events. No warning lamps, messages or other symptoms occur leading up to the events. The vehicle has been into the dealership 5 times attempting to resolve but todate the issue is unresolved. Have included some of the dealership's work orders and write-ups but unable to upload videos.

I have an F350 Dually that we use to tow on a regular basis. It is designed to be able to run a 5th wheel or gooseneck, which means the rear tailgate needs to be removed. When you remove the tailgate, none of the cameras on the vehicle work anymore. it would make sense if all cameras but the one on the tailgate would still work (since that one is no longer on the vehicle). But literally all the cameras, front, sides, and load watching, all become disabled even though they are still on the vehicle. If there was a safety recall on the wrong screen showing up on the backup camera... I would imagine this is an even bigger safety concern not having cameras at all. Especially the load checking camera by the third breaklight. That camera could be very invaluable for safe hauling practices to be able to continually check and have eyes on your load. And having the side view cameras available while towing is also a VERY valuable safety feature for getting through tight places such as gas stations or toll plazas. Dodge cameras all still work when the tail gate is removed. And, I believe previous years of the F250 and 350 all still work when you remove the tailgate. This seems like a major oversight on the 2023 F350s that could be a major safety concern. It is a well known problem on the forums/internet... curious why it hasn't been fixed yet or deemed a recall issue. Hopefully NHTSA can help the consumers with this problem. <3 Thank you for your consideration!
BACK OVER PREVENTION: WARNINGS Nov 22, 2023
I have an F350 Dually that we use to tow on a regular basis. It is designed to be able to run a 5th wheel or gooseneck, which means the rear tailgate needs to be removed. I was driving and a rock hit my front windshield. While the rock didn’t penetrate my windshield, glass shards hit me in the face and covered my cab. Windshield aren’t supposed to send shards of glass into the cab. This could’ve caused a multi vehicle crash had I not been wearing glasses.
