I TOOK MY TRUCK TO THAT SAME DEALER THE FOLLOWING WEEK TO HAVE NEW SHOCKS INSTALLED AND WAS TOLD THE SAME THING BY THE SHOP MANAGER. THIS PREVENTS ME FROM FILLING BOTH TANKS OR LEAKAGE WILL OCCUR. TRANSMISSION WILL GO TO NEUTRAL WHILE BEING DRIVEN. USUALLY OCCURS AFTER 30 OR MORE MINUTES OF DRIVING AND UNDER LIGHT OR CRUISE LOAD. AFTER INCIDENT, IT USUALLY DOES NOT HAPPEN AGAIN UNTIL NEXT WARM UP CYCLE THE FOLLOWING DAY, WEEK OR MONTH. OCCURRENCES HAVE BEEN EVERY FEW MONTHS FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS. MOST RECENT OCCURRENCE WAS SEVERE WITH 3 CYCLES OF JUMPING TO NEUTRAL AND BACK INTO GEAR QUICKLY ONE AFTER THE OTHER FOLLOWING ABOUT 45 MINUTES OF DRIVING. FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE DRIVE (ABOUT 20 MINUTES) OPERATION WAS NORMAL. WE ARE NOW CONCERNED TOTAL FAILURE IS IMMINENT. *AK
HEADREST USES A PLASTIC INSERT TO HOLD HEADREST IN POSITION, ALL FOUR BRACKETS BROKE AT SAME LEVEL. MAKING HEADREST NONFUNCTIONAL. *AK
EA99032; DUAL TANK; RECALL 93V125000/FUEL TANK AUXILIARY: SELECTOR AND SWITCH. A PORTION OF UNUSED FUEL FROM ONE TANK IS TO BE RETURNED TO SECOND TANK. WHEN THIS OCCURS, SECOND TANK EXCEEDS ITS CAPACITY, CAUSING FUEL SPILLAGE, WHICH CAN RESULT IN A FIRE WHEN EXPOSED TO A SOURCE OF IGNITION. *AK

A MALFUNCION OF THE FUEL VALVE THAT CONTROLS FUEL FROM THE SECOND TANK TO THE FIRST TANK, CAUSED FUEL TO SPILL OUT OF TANK ALL THE TIME. DEALER COULDN'T FIND WHATWAS CAUSING THIS PROBLEM. *AK
FUEL FROM THE FRONT FUEL TANK IS TRANSFERRING OVER TO THE REAR TANK, CAUSING IT TO OVERFLOW AND LEAK, RESUTLING IN FIRE HAZARD. *AK
THE BACK FUEL TANK SPILLS INTO THE FRONT, AND IF THE FRONT TANK IS`NT EMPTY IT SPILLS OVER THE FUEL CAP. *AK
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT THIS UNIT HAS FAILED ON THIS TRUCK. IT WAS REPLACED BY FORD UNDER A RECALL THE FIRST TIME. NOW IT HAS FAILED AGAIN WITH THE SAME RESULTS. BOTH TIMES IT WAS CAUSED BY THE BELT TENSIONER WEARING PREMATURELY, CAUSING THE BELT TO RIDE FORWARD OFF THE PULLEYS AND SHREDDING ITSELF. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE WHEN THIS HAPPENS, POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKES BECOME INOPERABLE. *AK
