The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the tires were replaced with the same brand of tires. The contact stated that after driving less than 20 miles on the new tires, there were similar cracks found on two of the new replacement tires at approximately 3,000 miles. The contact owned more than one vehicle equipped with the same tires and ten of the tires had similar cracks. The manufacturer was informed of the failures and opened a case. The failure mileage was approximately 1,000.Read more

I am reporting a safety-related concern involving the right front axle on my 2024 Honda Prologue. When making right-hand turns at low speeds, the vehicle produces a loud clicking noise coming from the right front axle/CV joint area. The noise is repeatable and occurs consistently during turning man
... euvers. I reported this issue to my authorized Honda dealership. On 05/21/2026, I dropped the vehicle off for inspection and repair. During the service visit, the technician acknowledged the concern and its happening with other Honda Prologue vehicles. No definitive safety repair or corrective action was provided at that time. I am reporting this concern because it involves a potential drivetrain/axle issue that may impact vehicle reliability and safe operation during turning conditions.Read more

When I'm driving my truck, usually when I have come to a stop on an incline, the parking/emergency brake will engage on its own. Cold start rattle lasting a second or more. Ford dealer diagnosed it as being bad cam phaser (TSB 23-2143). This is a very common issue with 3.5L engines from 2017-2020 - well documented on forums and youtube (even by ford technicians). I contacted Ford to see if they would assist in covering cost
... (my vehicle was a previous fleet vehicle and sold certified used in Dec 2020 with warranty running out in Dec 2025). Ford had several CSP's related to these engine and model years (21B10 and 21N03). Ford says my vehicle is not affected by these two CSPs and that is why coverage is denied. Dealer did determine my vehicle qualified under both CSPs based on information from the CSP's (make, model, build plant). My vehicle is affected by known bad parts, Ford redesigned VCT. Per Ford technicians, the new VCT design is the only long term fix (PCM reflash and replacing with original VCT parts are not). How can a TSB (23-2143) cover my vehicle when the previous CSP did not - for the same issue. Ford is refusing to assist customers cover cost to replace of known poorly designed parts (why would they redesign if they didn't know)? Ford does not include my vehicle in the CSPs though it matches criteria - Ford possibly drastically understated the number of vehicles affected by these CSP's. Dealer says mine is affected by this but Frod doesn't include my vehicle. This should be a full recall (not time limited under CSPs) as it can cause the vehicle to not start when auto stop/start is enabled (middle of 5 lane highway in Atlanta metro area rush hour). Failure of cam phasers can force vehicle into limp mode reducing ability to operate vehicle . Ford is well aware the parts are faulty and an integral part of the engine, why would they redesign if they were not faulty?Read more

The front driver door lock/latch actuator is failing. The driver door does not lock or unlock using the key fob or the interior power lock button. The only way to lock or unlock the door is manually with the key or by pushing/pulling the lock from inside the vehicle. This issue started shortly afte
... r we had a historic/unusual cold freeze in Florida. The vehicle is kept outside, so it was exposed to the freezing temperatures. This creates a safety and security concern because the driver door power lock system does not work properly and may prevent the door from locking or unlocking normally when needed. The component is still installed on the vehicle and available for inspection upon request.Read more

The entire front end of the vehicle was crushed, including destruction of the radiator, damage to engine components, internal str

We have a 2014 dodge ram 1500 SLT with a 5.7 hemi. I was driving down the road and stopped at a red light and the truck shut off and wouldn't start again we had to tow it home. We had a mechanic look at the vehicle and run the codes for the truck to find out what was wrong it was a misfire in cylind
... er 3. We called a few mechanic shops in town to get other opinions and they all said the same thing its more than likely the lifters or the camshaft is bad and its a very common problem with this model truck with the engine and it would cost over $5,000 to fix it. I spoke to the dodge dealership in our town they said the same thing its more than likely the lifters they see it all the time and its around $5,000 plus to fix. Why is this allowed to happen if so many people are having this specific issue with this specific truck and this specific problem with the engine and cost us thousands to fix. This is a major safety issue what if the engine stopped while I was driving this could cause an accident. If you look it up online as well everyone is saying the same thing their problem was with the lifters. We haven't been able to get it fixed because of the cost and the cost to tow it to a mechanic. We just have it sitting in our driveway and when I found out so many others have this same issue something needs to be done.Read more

I am the owner of a 2020 Kia Telluride with less than 60,000 miles, and I am experiencing a significant issue with the paint peeling off the top of my vehicle. The car is always parked in a garage and only used for routine school pick-ups, with no incidents or accidents that could explain the peelin
... g paint. After researching, I have discovered that this issue is a recurring problem for many Kia vehicles with the Snow White Pearl paint color. It is evident that this is a result of defective paint, and I am outraged that I am being quoted $3,500 to fix an issue caused by Kia’s faulty materials. The peeling has spread to two different areas and worsens daily, further devaluing my vehicle through no fault of my own. Given the widespread reports of this issue and ongoing discussions of a potential class action lawsuit, I urge Kia to address this problem immediately and take responsibility for the defective paint. I strongly believe this should be treated as a recall and that Kia should cover the cost of repairs. Please respond promptly with a resolution, as this is unacceptable for a vehicle of this age and mileage. I expect Kia to stand by the quality of its products and address this issue without further financial burden on your customers.Read more
