I scheduled my appointment to get the recalls taken care of and the car went into "protective mode" as soon as the call was made. I took it into the shop and now I have to pay for the diagnostic to turn my adaptive cruise control back on. The cruise control is a subset of the recall issue and I am being charge. It is at Metro Ford in Tupelo, Mississippi. I called the Ford recall center for help, but they put me off and said I should get a call from someone next week. I am paying for the diagnostic and repair because I have to and I need my car, but Ford is running a recall scam.
Backup camera not working screen says see dealer. We thought car was included in ford back over prevention recall 25v442000 ford recall 25s72. however we are being told no recall exists and have to pay to fix it ourselves.
This recall describes a known safety-related defect which can stall the vehicle while driving, thus increasing the risk of a crash. After 8 months without developing a remedy, that danger remains every time I drive my beloved Mustang. Is Ford waiting for numerous deaths due to this issue before making the cure a reality? What is the explanation for the lack of a cure? Evidently Ford has produced a fine looking automobile which should sit in one's garage instead of confidently driving it.

While driving approximately 45 mph and entering a highway, my 2022 Ford Mustang GT California Special suddenly lost power and shut off completely. The engine stalled without warning, creating a dangerous situation with surrounding traffic. I had to coast the vehicle and restart it. This vehicle has an open safety recall (NHTSA Recall Number 25V455 / Ford Recall 25S75) related to a low-pressure fuel pump failure that can cause engine stalling while driving. The recall has been open for several months, and there is currently no available remedy or repair from the manufacturer. The incident I experienced matches the recall description exactly. Despite the known safety risk, the manufacturer has not provided a fix, leaving the vehicle unsafe to operate. I am concerned for my safety and the safety of others due to the risk of repeated engine stalling at highway speeds.

On April 6th, the AC in the car began stalling and a few days after the engine started making all sorts of noise and failing and ultimately stopped working. I kept the car in my garage until I was able to obtain the money to replace the engine. I just yesterday picked up my car from the shop that replaced the engine (where I paid $13,000). The car is back in the shop and having same stalling issues.

Rear camera is not working. When I put the car into reverse I get a blue screen and then an error message stating my rear camera is not available. The sensors still work, if a car/object is close to me the car does beep but I cannot see behind me using my camera. This puts my safety at risk because I cannot see behind me as well as I could with the camera and could potentially hit a car and/or object. My car is at a Ford dealership right now getting looked at to see what could be the cause of this issue. This problem has been happening for the past few months, it started as it would stop working every now and then but work for the most part and now it does not work at all.
Odometer roll back was found to be a problem after I bought the car and took it to a Ford dealership which they voluntarily did the Carfax for me and that is how I've come to find out that the odometer has been rolled back some point in time last year before I bought the car
Driving at normal speeds (45-65) the passenger door will open on its own. It does it several times during a drive within 30 minutes.

Yes, if the NHTSA communicates with me that they need to look at my transmission, and I am either provided another equal mode of transportation or paid for my lack of ability to use my vehicle during inspection/possession/out of service by the NHTSA. 10R80 10 speed transmission was finally replaced under warranty by FORD in January. The new transmission has been problematic and getting worse since march. Transmission flairs/slips. Transmission acts as if the brakes are put on at times/acceleration is greatly decreased for no reason. Hard shifts at times… I and other others are put at risk due my car, responds erratically and this could become a safety issue by causing a crash or loss of control by the Ford MACH 1 Mustang. Transmission often is too high gear and the as a result, the engine is lugging too much. No idiot, lights or warning lights have come on this go round. The police have not inspected the transmission. I would not expect them or ask them to inspect the transmission because I would assume 99% of them would know very little to nothing about it. Same goes with the insurance company. Ford and Chevy the two manufacturers of this transmission are both aware of the multiple problems of this poorly designed and manufactured transmission. I was not sure what incident date you wanted. The first transmission or second transmission? There are multiple incidents and issues starting from my first ownership of the car when I first test drove the car and had 550 miles on it. The original and replacement transmission are both and have been problematic and unsafe.
The contact owns a 2022 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that after being stored in the brand-new garage with concrete flooring, the vehicle failed to start without warning. The same failure had occurred the prior year. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, and confirmed there was no warranty coverage or presumption of law for a buyback. The failure mileage was approximately 6,100.

My daughter was driving her 2022 Mustang GT when the rim snapped, vehicle went into a truck, started flipping on the highway, then burst into flames. My daughter had approximately 3 minutes before it was engulfed. The manufacturer, Wheel Pros, stated that the insurance company allowed us $400 for the rim, so we should be good. This looks like a defective rim. It put my daughter’s life in danger. In June 2023, there was another complaint about rims cracking from this same company. My daughters rim basically had the center of the rim still attached to the car with all lug nuts in place. The center snapped away from the barrel and tire, causing the tire to come off the car.

The Mustang window is supposed to retract approximately 1/2" when the door is opened or shut. My vehicle does this BUT the window will not return to the fully closed position when the door is shut. This is a safety Hazzard as the window tries to fully close but then goes down a 1/2" and returns to fully closed repeatedly while I am driving; this leads to driver distraction on the road, a very hazardous situation. It also leaves the vehicle vulnerable to theft as with the window 1/2" down it is very easy for a thief to stick in a wire and activate the automatic door unlocks.

On December 9, 2023, I was driving my 2022 Ford Mustang on Interstate 70 (westbound) and received the following notifications: "Pre-collision assist not available" and "Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power." This resulted in an inability for the car to rev above 4000 RPM which was problematic for driving on an interstate in the mountain. Additionally, driver assists were disabled. The message cleared after the car was turned off for ~ 2 hours, but the pre-collision assist intermittently incorrectly identified objects prompting braking when ACC was activated. However, about a week later, the car suffered a cracked windshield prompting replacement on 12/29/23. Following replacement, the car gave a message saying, "Front Camera Malfunction. Service Required." Despite recalibration attempts at both Safelite AutoGlass and my local Ford dealership, the camera has remained dysfunctional. Similarly, apart from the initial "Front Camera Malfunction" message upon starting the car, there is no indication that Pre-collision, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking are disabled for the duration of the drive. On 2/23/24, I received a call from Safelite stating that the "manufacturer of the windshield had issued a precautionary recall where it looks like the camera bracket can possibly detach and cause some issues with the advanced safety systems." Upon returning their call, it was confirmed that my vehicle, 2022 Ford Mustang, was affected by the precautionary recall. Therefore, I was scheduled to take my car in for a new part and told that I could seek reimbursement from Ford. However, upon further discussion with my Ford dealership and Ford Motor Company Customer Service team, I was told that they were unaware of a recall. Similarly, when further information was requested from Safelite, I was told that "we are not allowed to give out that information." As of this submission, the advanced safety systems remain inoperable.

It was raining and on a bumpy road when I was in second or 3rd gear when it started to lose control a little. It slid a little, when I held the wheel straight it was still going left to right by itself, after I got control of the wheel. The steering wheel was straight but it was still going from side to side. It felt like it trying to wreck me.
