The engine shut down without warning while I was in active traffic. After the shutdown, the vehicle automatically shifted into park and would not allow me to shift into neutral. This left me unable to move the vehicle out of a live traffic lane. I was forced to shut the vehicle off while still in a dangerous roadway position. This incident created a serious safety hazard, as I was traveling at highway speed and could have been rear-ended due to the sudden loss of power and inability to move the vehicle. This issue appears to match Ford Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 23-2317, which describes “Stop Safely Now” warnings, no-start conditions, and gateway module (GWM) software faults. We have already filed a report regarding multiple unresolved warranty defects that Ford Motor Company has refused to address for over a year. Among these is a recurring fuel pump failure—an issue that has now occurred multiple times. The most recent incident happened just a couple of weeks ago in the Twin Cities after being told by our dealer that there was not an issue or fix for the fuel pump issue, where the truck stalled in active traffic, creating a situation that could have resulted in serious injury or worse, death! Despite repeated attempts to resolve this matter, Ford’s latest response is unacceptable and has directly led to this additional complaint. We have been told that no action will be taken unless we personally drive this unsafe vehicle to a dealership for inspection. When we made it clear that doing so would put us at risk, we were dismissively told to have it towed if we were unwilling to drive it. Let us be absolutely clear: we will not endanger our lives to accommodate Ford’s refusal to honor its warranty obligations. We are being asked to operate a vehicle with known, unresolved defects that have already proven dangerous. This is not only irresponsible—it is indefensible. If this matter is not addressed immediately and appropriately, we will have no choice but to escalate further.

Astro white exterior paint is chipping on the roof of the vehicle in multiple locations. See pictures attached of sever chipping above windshield and wear the roof meets. Also chipping occurring above both rear doors on roof. This was not due to an accident or normal wear and tear.

We left home and only made it about 100 yards. There was not a trailer attached. We had already stopped at a stop sign, then took off again. As we were going up a slight hill giving it a little gas, there was a loud thud and a sudden jolt, and the truck rapidly slowed down. I tried to give it gas to continued and the engine reved up, but our movement stopped. I realized that the emergency brake had engaged for some reason, so I pressed the button to turn it off, then we were able to continue. We haven't had anyone to look at it yet, and we haven't seen a recall yet
I put the truck into reverse and tried to back out of my driveway. The truck didn't move for several seconds, then started to move. I brakes, shifted into drive and the truck continued to move backwards. I applied the brakes and the transmission seemed to spin before it moved forward. I drove down the street to the corner. I applied the brakes and the was a shudder and bang as the transmission downshifted from 4th to 3rd. This occurs intermittently over the last 3 months. When I searched online, I learned that these symptoms are consistent with those described in Ford TSB 23-2350. I had an independent mechanic confirm the problem and he noted the fluid was dark. Whrn I spoke to the dealership, they tried to explain the issue was due to the transmission being cold. I'm the original owner of the truck.
Have been trying to get recall for rear axle (NHTSA Recall Number23V896) taken care of since June 2025. Dealer (Corwin Ford, Reno NV) ordered parts on or around August 4. 2025. As of March 19, 2026, dealer has not received parts and made recall repair. Recall notice from Ford says parts are available. If nut comes loose, additional damage can occur and vehicle will not be drivable since Ford has failed to deliver parts in a timely manner.
In July 2025, i received Ford's Recall Notice stating that is it possible for fuel pressure and flow from the fuel tank to be reduced due to a fuel pump failure- the same condition that caused my breakdown on 11/5/2025 towing the vehicle to the dealer for repair. Because this repair occurred prior to the official recall repair availability, or remedy as is it referred to. The repair cost was deferred to us because there is no official remedy to the recall, and reimbursements are not being entertained until June of 2026.

There were no reported injuries, air bag deployment, or police reports filed. No warning lights were illuminated. -The hub bolt in the rear axle broke. Truck had to be towed to dealership. Problem was confirmed by dealership. There was no warning lamp and only found out due to flat tire. -In 12/2022, power train failure left vehicle "dead" in the middle of the highway with family of four stranded 400 miles away from home.
The passenger side day time running light is dimmed drastically and almost not visible anymore on the upright section. After doing research , this seems to be a very common issue and not a cheap repair. Some states day time running lights are mandatory to work to pass inspection. Ford has not acknowledged this issue and/or making profit from changing out the whole headlight assembly to fix. It seems like it is a bad design or low quality product for a supposed safety issue.

My 2021 Ford F-150 Lariat has a door latch defect that occurs in freezing or near-freezing temperatures. The failure occurs without warning in cold conditions, causing the door latch to freeze and not fully engage. When this happens, the door is able to freely swing open while the vehicle is in motion and also freely open when the vehicle is parked. This creates a serious safety hazard, including the risk of occupant ejection and loss of vehicle control. The vehicle has no aftermarket modifications and is maintained per manufacturer recommendations. The issue is temperature-dependent and has occurred on multiple occasions. Ford has issued recalls for similar door latch freezing defects on multiple other Ford vehicles and model years. Despite this, my vehicle has not been included, even though it exhibits the same failure mode. This defect presents a significant safety risk and should be investigated for potential recall inclusion.

I had my 2021 F-150 into the local ford dealership not even a year ago due to a shifting issue. I was on the interstate and passing a car in the passing lane on the interstate and my truck shifted so hard I thought I lost something and then kinds lost power for a minute. The dealership ran a test on it, and it failed. It was some type of valve that was bad I guess ford and GM are having the issue. Now I am starting to have the same issue on now it is down around 4th to 3rd or 3rd to 2nd gear, but when it shifts once in a while it is a very hard shift and it scares the hell out of you. Now once in a while when I go to shift from drive to park or drive to reverse the shifter will not move. Like I said I am getting ready to get ahold of the dealership again and get it in to be looked at I am just waiting for winter to be over.
My vehicle loses power when turning into traffic, when stopping and taking off. There have been SEVERAL close calls when pulling into traffic as my vehicle will stall out and won't accelerate causing traffic to have to swerve to miss hitting me. I am going to end up getting hit one of these days. Also, it is very dangerous on snow and ice. When trying to accelerate, it cuts out losing power. Keeping my foot on the accelerator, it will eventually get power amd take off unexpectedly and fast. This causes a hazardous issue as well. I have tried to get Ford to buy back the truck or trade for a different one but they refuse to do anything. This is my only transportation and I have to drive it. I am going to end up seriously injured or dying if my truck stalls out in traffic. I can't travel with my grandson because I would be risking his safety. Please make Ford Company replace or buy back my truck and full loan pay off.
