The Styrofoam is cracked in half on two sides and it's losing pieces when I contacted the manufacturer. They said they were sending me tape and I don't feel that's very safe. That is the only solution they are offering me. This has had a recall previously. They said this is what you've approved as a
... fix to the recall. I just wanted to check on this because I don't feel it's very safe for me to tape my child car seat back together especially since there's pieces missing chunks and the Styrofoam is completely cracked in half. I could separate the two pieces and they're telling me to tape it back together.Read more

We pulled over into a parking lot and called RAM roadside assistance. We were told to let the truck cool down and try again. After being in a parking lot with our 4 kids and 2 dogs in 100 degree weather for 6 hours we attempted to start the truck. However every time we put it in drive the truck shut off. At this time we had to get it towed for $300, today the local RAM autoshop is saying they looked at the truck and transmission is gone. They are also saying they will not be able to look at the truck for a month. We travel full-time in our RV and now are stranded with our RV and no way to pull it anywhere.Read more

When the motorcycle's handlebars are turned right of the 12 o'clock position power shuts off completely until the handlebars are turned back to the 12 o'clock position or further left. This happens regardless if the motorcycle is off with the kick stand out or on while riding and using the throttle
... . The uploaded file labelled "email 1.pdf" has a YouTube link that shows the problem. If this link does not work a video of the motorcycle and the problem that occurs can be provided. If the motorcycle loses power while in a right turn I risk the possibility of getting hit from behind by another vehicle endangering myself and other drivers. The problem has not been reproduced by the dealer because since November 3rd the dealer has yet to pick up the motorcycle and inspect it. The uploaded pdf files are conversations between myself and an authorized dealer for the motorcycle. The dealer suggests a repair by the manufacturer would be from their goodwill and not a requirement despite having a warranty for the motorcycle. I have also spoken with the manufacturer (Stefano 415-243-6355) and after stating I have made multiple attempts to have two authorized dealers fix the motorcycle it was suggested that I try looking at the wires and fixing it myself.Read more

I believe a serious malfunction occurred with a 2024 Jeep Wrangler on [XXX], the day after I purchased the vehicle. The incident took place while I was driving westbound on [XXX] , at a speed of 65 mph. At the time of the incident, I had both front Targa Top Panels removed, both front windows down,
... and both rear windows up. Suddenly, I was struck in the face by what felt like a rock. This unexpected impact caused me to swerve dangerously close to the median. Almost immediately, I noticed I was bleeding and experienced excruciating pain. Upon exiting the highway at my home exit, I checked on my nonverbal child to ensure their safety. To my dismay, I discovered an adjustable turning loop cover on the rear back floor of the vehicle. After further investigation I noticed my rearview mirror had a crack also. I'm confident this piece flew from my passenger side of my vehicle, hit off my window shield or rearview mirror, and into my face. Concerned about the safety implications of this malfunction, I returned to the dealership, Tyson’s Motor Shorewood in IL, where I purchased the Jeep. Although they offered to reattach the piece, I declined, as I believed this could pose a further risk of injury. I no longer own this Jeep after sustaining this injury I felt compelled to sell it for the safety of myself, and my children. I have reported this incident to Jeep, and my case number is #[XXX]. The malfunction resulted in a laceration and bruising to my face, and I strongly believe that this issue warrants investigation. The potential for more serious injuries, especially to other occupants or drivers, is a significant concern. On [XXX], I was driving on the left lane of [XXX], between [XXX] , traveling [XXX], in Oakland, California. I had only driven for a few minutes after leaving work. After braking at a stoplight, my 2012 Hyundai Elantra stopped functioning and stopped on the road while driving. The "check engine" l
... ight went on, the "check battery" light went on and a "check fluid" light all went on at the same time for over 10 minutes. During those 10 minutes, I was unable to start the car. I put my hazard lights on and desperately called 911 and AAA. I continued to try and re-start the car. After 10-15 minutes, I was able to get the car started and pulled off the road. I was later able to drive home. I later had the car evaluated by a mechanic and he could not find a reason for my experience. The battery was replaced within the last 6 months, oil was changed recently and an engine coil was recently replaced. We get the car repaired/serviced regularly. I strongly suspect that my experience is related to Hyundai Recall 251 / NHTSA Recall 23V651000. This is a very serious safety issue (e.g. "engine could catch on fire while driving or parked...") and Hyundai has so far not been appropriately responsive about my safety concerns. The Recall was issued in September of 2023 and no remedy has been issued to date (as of 2/16/24). Hyundai owners should not be expected to just keep driving cars that are at risk of randomly catching fire while driving or ceasing to function while driving on a busy road. I’ve been working with a representative and his Only concern seems to be getting pictures of the damage that was done to the front of the vehicle when in reality, they really need to be looking at the computer in my car to see what actually happened. On Tues Feb 7, 2023, I was traveling at approx 6:50 pm on a suburban street at the posted 35 mph limit. My car started to lose speed, slowing to 27, then about 22-24 mph. I felt as though the engine was misfiring for an unknown reason. Since I was approaching an intersection and needed to make a le
... ft-hand turn, I started to depress the brake pedal. With no oncoming traffic, I slowed not quite to a stop, made the turn, but then had extreme difficulty getting the car to accelerate, again with the engine sputtering, chugging like a misfire, and shaking. My vehicle did not seem to go beyond 15 mph, and slowed again as I turned into my destination, about 2-3 blocks from the intersection. I parked and locked the car and was in a store for approximately 10 minutes. When returning to my vehicle, it would not start-the brake pedal could not be depressed at all, it appeared extremely hard. After 1-2 minutes of gently tapping the brake pedal, it loosened and I started the car. I put the car in reverse and it stopped in the middle of the parking lot with cars almost hitting me. I saw Engine Warning lights, Battery Warning lights, and a quick message across the screen but was unable to capture the meaning. After several more attempts, the engine started but was shaking violently, but I could not go beyond 3 mph. The shaking was so strong, items on the passenger seat shifted on the floor. I chose to remain in the parking lot and call Hyundai Bluelink. Since it was dark, I remained in the vehicle with the engine running, but excessive smoke billowed from the rear of the car. It was towed to Gerald Hyundai in North Aurora. After 3 days the dealer could not find any issue, however, I refused to take the car back, as I could recall it misfiring in previous weeks but unfortunately dismissed it. I requested a Technical Case File be opened at the Dealer. I still do not have my car after 1 week. This is a very serious issue and I am aware other owners have experienced it as well.Read more
