ON THE 4.0 LITER 242 CUBIC INCH MODELS, THE DASHBOARD SWITCH THAT CONTROLS THE AIRFLOW AFTER ONLY A FEW YEARS OF USE SHORTS OUT MELTING AND CAUSING A SEVERE DANGER PROBLEM. WHEN THIS BROWN PLUG MELTS IT ALSO SHORTS OUT THE 30 AMP FUSE THAT IS CONNECTED TO THIS AREA. I AM CURIOUS IF WHETHER A DEFECT COMPLAINT HAS EVER BEEN LOGGED CONCERNING THE A/C, HEATER BLOWER SWITCH OR THE CONNECTOR. *TR

AFTER MY ACCIDENT BACK IN APRIL 2000 EXITING THE EXPRESS WAS I WAS SLOWING DUE TO A RED LIGHT, A CAR FROM BEHIND REAR ENDED MY 1995 CHRYSLER JEEP . I LATER FILED A COMPLAINT WITH DAIMLER CHRYSLER CONCERNING THE SEAT BELT THEY GAVE ME A CASE NUMBER HOWEVER, I NEVER HEARD FROM THEM. THEN I CAME ACROSS THE CASE WHERE THE LADY WAS SUITING OVER THE SEAT BELTS, HOWEVER THE ATTORNEY DID NOT WANT TO TAKE THE CASE AT THE TIME. I WAS IN FLORIDA AND THEY WERE FROM TEXAS. NOR COULD I FIND ANYONE WHO WOULD TAKE THE CASE TO PURSUIT THE DAIMLER CHRYSLER COMPANY AT THE TIME. THE COMPLAINTS WITH THE SEAT BELTS WHERE NOT SO PLENTIFUL AS THEY ARE NOW, I STILL FEEL TO THIS DAY (SERRIA) WOULD BE ALIVE IF THE SECURITY OF THE SEAT BELT HARNESS WHERE LOCKING PROPERLY, MY DAUGHTER WOULD BE ALIVE TODAY.
