General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 Cadillac CTS, Escalade, Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Yukon, and Yukon XL, and 2014 Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Express, Impala, Silverado HD, Traverse, GMC Acadia, Savana, and Sierra HD vehicles. In the affected vehicles, the chassis electronic module may be internally contaminated, resulting in an electrical short.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the chassis electronic module, free of charge. The recall began on December 26, 2014. Owners may contact GM customer service at 1-800-521-7300 (Buick), 1-800-458-006 (Cadillac), 1-800-222-1020 (Chevrolet), and 1-800-462-8782 (GMC). GMs number for this recall is 14515.

SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC
General Motors is recalling certain model year 2014 Chevrolet Suburban vehicles manufactured July 9, 2013, through July 22, 2013; and 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe vehicles manufactured July 16, 2013, through July 23, 2013; and model year 2014 GMC Yukon vehicles manufactured July 13, 2013, through July 18, 2013; and model year 2014 GMC Yukon XL vehicles manufactured on July 22, 2013. The rear brake caliper bolts may not be fully tightened. Thus, these vehicles fail to conform to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 135, "Light Vehicle Brake Systems."
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the bolts on both rear brake caliper brackets. Any bolts found loose will be replaced and tightened. This service will be performed, at no charge. Owners may contact Chevrolet at 1-800-222-1020 and GMC at 1-800-462-8782. GM's recall number is 13247.

Our 2014 Chevrolet Suburban has been garage-kept since it was purchased new. Within a year of the factory airbag recall replacement, the dashboard began cracking in two separate areas. The cracks have continued to spread despite the vehicle being consistently garage-kept and the regular use of a windshield sunshade.
Stopped at a stop sign. The vehicle suddenly lost all electrical power. Lights began flashing. Traction control system turned off and on. Then it went back to normal driving. I just had the Chassis Control Module Recall taken care of as well. The air conditioning is intermittently cutting its ability to cool then suddenly cooling again during this time. When the vehicle turned back on, the strong odor of fuel was present from the air vents. I had reported the issue before but was told by a dealer there is nothing wrong they could see beyond a visual inspection.

I received a safety recall for my suburban in 2021. I contacted the dealership and have been waiting for 1 year to get a call back from Chevrolet dealership so that they can proceed with the passenger airbag repair “safety recall”.
Dash has cracked completely front to back on drivers side, and has several cracks around the air bag on passenger side. Nothing has happened to cause stress on the dash that would cause these cracks
The dashboard cracked at the edge of the airbag. Vehicle was not in an accident.
I cannot believe we don't have a repair for this yet. It is proven to be fatal, even a 2013 Chev Cruze incident caused a fatality. I want to know something about this fix and I want Chevrolet/GM to start fixing immediately. At this point, I am paying a lien on a vehicle that could be fatal and no one is talking about when it will be repaired.
The manufacture has not accommodated the repair/replacement of this dangerous part and it has been a lonnnnnnnng time. This is ridiculous.

The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Suburban. The contacts stated while driving at night at an unknown speed, the high-beam headlights were activated to see the roadway. Several unknown warning lights then became illuminated. The vehicle shuddered and jerked for approximately 30-40 seconds before resuming normal driving. I called Gene Messer Chevy and spoke with Keith & was told they CAN NOT repair yet As recall was listed in Feb, this is affecting our ability to dispose of vehicle in timely manner. AFTER OWNING THE VEHICLE OVER 5 YEARS, THE DASHBOARD STARTED TO CRACK. AFTER RESEARCHING A FIX, I DISCOVERED A LOT OF OWNERS OF MY TYPE OF VEHICLE ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME PROBLEM IN THE SAME LOCATIONS.
I HAVE HAD MY CALIPER BOLT COME LOOSE AND WAS COMPLETELY MISSING TWO TIMES, ON TWO DIFFERENT WHEELS, AND DIFFERENT TIMES. THE FIRST TIME, IT CAUSE THE CALIPER TO PARTIALLY DISENGAGE AND WEDGE INTO THE RIM, CRACKING IT. THE SECOND TIME, IT WAS DETECTED BY THE HORRENDOUS NOISE AND CLACKING MADE BY THE LOOSE CALIPER WHILE DRIVING.
OIL CONSUMPTION DUE TO AMF MODULE CAUSES LOSS OF OIL.
LOSS OF PEDAL POWER WHEN BRAKING. HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES WHILE DRIVING AND WHEN STOPPED. ON HIGHWAY AND CITY STREETS. ISSUE IS ONGOING HAS HAPPENED THE LAST TWO YEARS. HAVE FIXED MULTIPLE ITEMS ON BRAKE SYSTEMS AND IT CONTINUES TO HAPPEN.
WIPERS NO LONGER WORK. THEY DO NOT TURN ON DUE TO FAULTY MOTOR AND OR LINKAGE. COMMON PROBLEM WITH GM VEHICLES
AFTER PARKING THE VEHICLE AND TURNING OFF THE ENGINE WHEN THE KEY IS PULLED OUT OF THE IGNITION THE POWER DOORS WONT RELEASE AND POWER WINDOWS WONT WORK. WHEN STARTING THE VEHICLE AND TURNING BACK OFF THIS FIXES THE PROBLEM. THIS OCCURS ANYWHERE AND SPECIFIC TO PARKING THE VEHICLE. THE REMOTE START WORKS INTERMITTENTLY. SOMETIMES IT WILL WORK AND KEEP THE VEHICLE RUNNING AND OTHER TIMES IT WONT WORK AT ALL. THIS OCCURS ANYWHERE AND SPECIFIC TO THE VEHICLE PARKED. FOR NO REASON, THE CLOCK WILL RESET THE TIME AND DATE SO IT SHOWS 12:00 FOR THE TIME AND 01 01 2005 FOR THE DATE. THIS HAPPENS NO MATTER IF THE CAR HAS BEEN RUNNING THEN SHUT OFF AND THEN DRIVEN AGAIN OR IF THE CAR HASN'T BEEN DRIVEN IN A COUPLE OF DAYS. THESE PROBLEMS HAVE ALL OCCURRED ON DIFFERENT DAYS BUT HAVE BEEN SPORADIC AND NOT OCCURRED AT THE SAME TIME. ALL THESE PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN OCCURRING SINCE APRIL OF 2019.
THE TRANSMISSION KEEPS SLIPPING BETWEEN 1ST AND 2ND GEAR AND HAVING DIFFICULTY SHIFTING OUT OF REVERSE WITH ONLY 80,000 MILES. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO MAUS CHEVROLET (TAMPA, FL) SEVERAL TIMES AND THE PROBLEM IS NOT BEING FIXED. NO REASON FOR THE TRANSMISSION TO FAIL AT 80,000 MILES BUT THERE IS NO RECALL.
DASHBOARD CRACKED IN TWO PLACES. NO REASON.
DASH IS CRACKED ON PASSENGER SIDE AT AIR BAG
CRACKED DASHBOARD AT INFORMATION CLUSTER AND PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG. DASHBOARD CRACK IS BAD ENOUGH THAT IF THE AIRBAG WERE TO ENGAGE SHARDS WOULD BE LAUNCHED INTO CABIN THUS CREATING A SAFETY HAZARD. THE CONDITION EXISTS WHETHER MOVING OR STATIONARY.
THE DASHBOARD HAS CRACKED, STARTING TOWARDS THE WINDSHIELD AND TRAVELLING TOWARDS THE STEERING WHEEL. THERE WAS NO IMPACT, IT HAS CRACKED ON IT'S OWN OVER TIME. THE MANUFACTURER WOULD NOT FIX IT UNDER WARRANTY.

VEHICLE WAS SITTING IN OUR GARAGE, WENT TO CRAWL IN AND START UP AND THE DASH CRACKED, WE ARE CONCERNED AS IT IS CRACKED INTO THE PASSENGERS SIDE AIR BAG. .
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET SUBURBAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE THIRD ROW SEAT BELTS FAILED TO LOCK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO J P MOTORS CHEVROLET (3675 FRONTAGE RD, PERU, IL 61354) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SEAT BELTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND PAID A PORTION OF THE COST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE AND VIN WERE UNKNOWN.
WOULD GET INTERMITTENT AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT. TOOK IT TO ONE DEALERSHIP AND FOUND NO CODES. LATER I FIGURED OUT IT WOULD ONLY BE ON WITH A PASSENGER IN THE SEAT AND TOOK IT TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP WHERE IT WAS FOUND TO BE THE PASSENGER PRESENCE MODULE. WITH THE LIGHT ON THE AIRBAG WILL NOT DEPLOY. FILED THE COMPLAINT WITH GM WARRANTY DEPARTMENT AS THE TRUCK IS A 2014 MODEL AND ONLY 54,000 MILES, GM WILL NOT WARRANTY OR PAY FOR THE FIX. HAD TO PAY OUT OF POCKET TO CORRECT THIS SAFETY FEATURE
