Vehicle acts like it’s going to die. No maintenance lights well maintained. Rattle noise and acts like it’s misfiring. Went to turn at traffic light and almost got into a wreck due to no horse power. This has been happening since less than 40,000 miles but car dealership keeps saying “nothing

2023 Jeep Wagoneer Series III 4x4 ~34,582 miles. Service dates: Aug 18–20, 2025. Work included a 4-wheel rotation on Aug 19. Vehicle is equipped with aftermarket Fuel Off Road D679 REBEL wheels that use spacers, sold with the pre-owned vehicle by a licensed dealer. What failed: After the rotatio
... n, the front-right wheel fasteners lost clamp load on drive from dealership. On inspection, four of six lug nuts were very loose/near removal and the wheel could be moved laterally by hand. Suspected contributors: (1) misalignment of polyurethane spacer during re-installation, leading technician to believe wheel fasteners were “torqued-to-spec,” and (2) interaction between spacer/wheel seating surfaces and the hub during movement. All components are available for inspection upon request. Video of the condition and photographs of the spacer are available; the dealer reports relevant in-shop CCTV exists. Safety risk: Loss of clamp load during vehicle operation created sufficient lateral wheel movement to be felt as wobble/thumping of steering wheel, with risk of wheel separation/loss of control. Reproduction/confirmation: The dealer confirmed the issue, and reported findings to customer. According to the Service Manager, the post-incident follow-up inspection (Aug 20) found the front-right spacer had shifted off-center during the tire rotation service, allowing the wheel to reach false-secure position and the fasteners to reach a proper torque without properly seating. This led to clamp-load loss as the spacer re-seated in subsequent vehicle operation, particularly as speeds increased. Inspections performed: The dealer inspected the vehicle on Aug 20 after towing back to the Jeep dealership. Customer has notified manufacturer of this incident and is awaiting response. Warnings/symptoms: No vehicle warnings. Around 1 mile into the drive from dealership, a slight wobble and then a repeating thump developed, that worsened by arrival at destination, prompting inspection.Read more

My vehicle has a persistent shift to park issue. My vehicle cannot be safely turned off. My vehicle needs to be restarted multiple times and the gearshift moved to the park position for the chance that it will register being in the parked position so the vehicle can be safely turned off.
Incident date: Mar 13, 2025
Our stop/start feature consistently causes the car to stall instead of restarting the engine. This leaves us stranded in or at intersections while waiting for the car to respond to pressing the park and restart buttons. This regularly takes enough time we have narrowly avoided being hit multiple tim
... es from suddenly not being able to move. Because it can turn off at any time you are fully stoped we have been caught after having to make a complete stop in the middle of an intersection and then still being stalled when the light changed. Honda has experienced the problem and has only been willing to change the battery. A fully charged and new battery does temporarily reduce the number of occurrences. This has only been inspected by Honda because we have not had an actual accident yet. There are no other warning lights on the car at any point. This is a regular and known issue that they have failed to fix.Read more

My car was purchased used with 79k miles and the longer the car is running, the stiffer the steering wheel becomes. Any small moments are stiff and make the car jerk to much and it causes me to have to fight to keep the car in a straight line while driving. Lane keeping assistance is also driving wa
... y too close to one side since the steering wheel causes the car to struggle to make any small changes. It gets close to cars that are next to me and can potentially cause an accident if I make one small move. They appeared for me on 8/15 and I purchased this car on 8/14. A steering wheel should be smooth and not so stiff. I have an appointment coming up on Monday for a diagnostic but I am afraid they’ll tell me it’s out of warranty or there is nothing wrong with it. Which is impossible since so many others like me are having the same issue. My car needs to become part of this recall to be able to afford to change the steering shell rack or fix what needs to be fixed for my safety and those around me.Read more

NHTSA Recall Number 23V-858: I have contacted my local Honda dealer multiple times to fix vehicle per the recall and have been told that Honda has provided no parts to fix the vehicle, even after my vehicle began experiencing problems. Recently, while operating my vehicle, it hesitated (i.e. almos
... t stalled out) and then surged forward, which caused me to get into a collision and sustain injuries. After the collision, I contacted the Honda manufacturer using the customer service number on the recall notice and informed them of the collision. They denied that the issue my vehicle was experiencing was related to recall even though a Honda website states that the fuel pump issue will cause the same issues that I experienced. The Honda manufacturer customer service rep. stated that Honda has parts to fix the recall and the dealer should have asked to receive a part. When I contacted the dealer and informed them of the Honda manufacturer customer service rep. statements, the service manager and my local dealer became upset and frustrated as he informed me that they have been trying to get parts for months. The Honda manufacturer does not appear to care for the safety of the individuals using their products, nor the for the individuals that may also be injured based upon these unsafe vehicles still being on the road. In additions, the Honda manufacturer is providing intentionally misleading statements to consumers related to the recall. Their actions are unacceptable and they should be held accountable.Read more

We were driving our 2016 Ram in July 20, 2023 to Yakima, WA which is 200 miles away from our home. About 50 miles north of town, our check engine light came on and our power was reduced to a minimal speed. We cautiously drove to the next rest area and turned the engine off. We waited about 30 minute
... s, restarted the engine and continued to Yakima. We had the code checked and turned off at an Oreily's parts store. We drove it to an Independant diesel service center since the Ram dealership's schedule was 2 months out to look at it. After several hours and troubleshooting, the diesel technician determined that the Cumins Actuator and Turbo were failing. Each time they cleared the code and drove the truck, they could recreate the problem. They told us that it was the same problem that the 2015 Cumins Turbos & actuators were having. They said there is a chance that our truck was manufactured with the same parts as a 2015 Cumins. They were able to repair our truck and said that we should notify the NHTSA, Mopar and our local Ram dealer of the problem. Mopar told me there is no recall for this issue, so they cannot help. The local Ram dealer told me that since they did not do the repair, they cannot report the issue. Please help us as this was an expensive repair, not including the cost of being standed out of town for days. Our Ram only has 39,000 miles and is like new, always garaged and drove for pleasure. How can we get this investigated or reimbursed?Read more

I am sending this msg in regards to my 2013 Toyota Camry SE that I leased and decided to purchase after the lease ended from Toyota Heritage in Catonsville. I am experiencing problems with my torque converter. This is an issue that Toyota knew that would happen to my car and now that I am experienci
... ng this problem Toyota doesn’t feel that they are responsible for the fix since the warranty has expired. I notice this problem in February 2019 when driving to work every morning at the same spot it felt like I was driving on the edge of the road. I figured it was road damage, because it would happen at the same spot every morning curve in the road. On March 16, 2019 due to COVID-19 we were sent home to work from home until Feb 2022. I wasn’t driving my car much due to COVID. We are now back in the office 1 day a week. In July 2022, I had my brakes done by a licensed mechanic and I informed him about the issue I was experiencing and he told me it was my torque converter, his mother has the same issue with her 2013 Camry and Toyota is aware of the problem and not paying for the repair l. In Oct or Nov, I took my car to Heritage Toyota in OM for my usual maintenance and I informed the advisor of the issue and he stated it’s my torque converter and the warranty has expired and I will be responsible for the $2000 repair. I never received the letter they claimed was sent and no one can send me proof of the letter that they was sent to me. I can’t understand how Toyota is not responsible for this problem they knew would eventually would happen and when asked why didn’t they fixed it when I was bringing my car in for maintenance I was told because I did not report there was a problem. I told the advisor it wasn’t a problem then, I am experiencing the problem now. He didn’t have an answer. I even called Toyota Corp and getting the same reply. I am now thinking my transmission is going up due to this issue. Please help me!! Thank you.Read more

I started to experience hesitation in the cars power and shifting “gears” in the cvt, it started to feel very rough and the rpm would jump up and down. The owner of the dealership tried to tell me it was normal. I knew something was wrong. I left the dealership and not even kidding… 20 minutes
... later my cvt gave out and the light came on. I purchased the vehicle with 27,700 miles. I was shocked, they had it replaced but i never received any paperwork on where it was replaced. The car started to feel fine for about 20k miles and then boom it’s back. I am going to take my car into the dealership once again and I am just not a happy overall owner. I have had over $21,000 in repairs on this vehicle! We’re talking from wiper motor going out to exhaust pipes needing replaced. The warranty company has luckily saved me with most repairs but i’m sure they are not happy either. I am now at 95k miles and on my way to take it in to see what’s wrong this time. The car has terrible acceleration and just doesn’t want to shift. I shouldn’t be feeling a huge jerk around 30mph from a cvt. I also told the owner of my dealership and his mechanics that their is a weird odor that smells like radiator fluid coming from the passenger floor. It’s completely soaked all the time and even has a weird texture to it. The owner and mechanics once again tried to make me feel stupid. This is unrepaired and has been happening since i bought the vehicle. I have been trying to get it fixed but i’m told “you spilled something” which is documented in the repairs notes. I just want to drive this car without something else giving out. I believe my dealership can’t give me the help my car needs and i’m concerned knowing i still owe $11k on the vehicle. Main Concern - 2nd CVT failing (something was missed that’s causing this) - Passenger Floor Boards Wet (getting no help and being told i spilled something)Read more
