I have owned this vehicle close to three years and these were the all season tires that came with the car.I live in New England where I run snow tires on the car from October to April every year that I have owned the car. The car has 30K miles on it ,but the tires that came with the car only have a
... bout 10K or 7/8 tire tread left. The tires have become very noisy and are starting to cup. I did take the car to the dealer and had the front end checked out and nothing is worn or out of alignment. Tires were rotated at 5K intervals .I contacted Dunlop and was told there was not much they would do since the tires were made when Dunlop was owned by Goodyear. Dunlop is now owned by Falken. I was offers 30% off a new set of tires (Dunlop) as a good will gesture. A new set of tires will run about 1K with tax and mounting/balance. I should have to spend that kind of money on tires that are not worn, just poorly made. Falken admitted that they have a lot of complaints about this tire. The 2.0L EcoBoost engine in my 2018 Ford Edge Titanium experienced head gasket failure due to Ford’s known cylinder channel design defect present in 2015–2019 EcoBoost 2.0 engines. Ford scored channels between cylinders in an attempt to improve cooling, which allows coolant to degrade the head g
... asket and mix with engine oil. Symptoms included white smoke from the exhaust, coolant loss, rough idle, and a check engine light prior to failure. The coolant-oil contamination caused engine performance degradation and risk of sudden failure while driving, endangering myself and other motorists. The engine drained all coolant unbeknownst to me while driving, causing the car to overheat and causing damage to the head gasket. Car had to be pulled over and towed to a shop. Head gasket was repaired, but the issue continued and more coolant was found in the engine oil in 2026. Coolant constantly has to be replenished after driving. The failure was confirmed by an independent mechanic. The vehicle has not been inspected by Ford or NHTSA. Ford has not issued a recall for this known defect despite widespread reports from 2015–2019 Edge, Fusion, and other EcoBoost 2.0 owners experiencing identical failures. I am filing this complaint to contribute to the pattern of evidence needed to compel a formal NHTSA investigation and potential recall action.Read more

Replaced the actuator, drove about 50 miles, light comes back on. Finally get my appointment with dealer and they say my turbo is bad, they want $8k to fix. I ordered the turbo and replaced it myself along with another actuator, test drove. Light still comes on but have not lost power yet?? Dealer is not helping. The dash lights keep blinking on and off, creating a distracting and alarming environment while driving. A 2018 Honda Accord 1.5T developed an engine misfire, coolant loss, and reduced acceleration shortly after purchase from a dealership on 01/07/2026 (around 156,000 miles / $15,000). On 01/23/2026, during a Honda dealer inspection at about 157,255 miles, the technician noted misfires on startup, foun
... d the coolant overflow reservoir empty, pressure-tested the system, and confirmed coolant leaking into cylinders 3 and 4 from the head gasket. The dealer recommended head gasket replacement plus spark plugs, drive belt, and valve adjustment. I was told that continued driving could worsen the condition, leading to overheating and further engine damage. After that diagnosis, the vehicle’s drivability worsened, and it became unsafe to rely on due to misfires and loss of acceleration, especially on the highway. The selling dealership refused to assist, claiming the defect was not present at the time of sale; Honda America acknowledged the head gasket concern but denied a goodwill claim, citing the high cost of the issue and lack of NHTSA enforcement on this issue. An independent repair shop then provided a second inspection/estimate consistent with the same head-gasket repair scope. The vehicle and repair records are available for inspection. No crash or injury occurred, but the defect caused a sudden loss of power and overheating while driving; I was stuck on the highway on two occasions with my hazard lights on after acceleration completely halted. Warning symptoms (the engine light) only appeared when the car suddenly stopped accelerating. Two days after an around-$5,000 headgasket repair, drivability problems and multiple dashboard warnings appeared, including turbo-related concerns; this concern is ongoing.Read more

I found the "burned/overheated terminals" comment to be alarming. I looked into this matter further and found a GM Service Bulletin (21-NA-006) from October 2022. This bulletin identified this issue which contained an image showing burned/overheated terminals. The identified cause within the bulletin states "This condition may be caused by a poor connection at the Emission Reduction Fluid Tank electrical connector."
