I placed a bid on a vehicle at the co-part location in [XXX] . I reviewed the damage etc. and found it to be an acceptable risk. It was advertised that the car was in an accident with the passenger side and front grill damage. here was allegedly no damage to the motor and most importantly the airbags had not deployed. It was being sold with a salvaged title. Knowing these issues, I purchased the vehicle, had it towed to Miami and began the repairs. I purchased all genuine Honda parts from the dealer and still I could not have all of the lights reset. Upon taking it to another dealership, I learned that my rear seatbelts needed to be replaced, as well as all of the airbags as they had been cut out of the vehicle and the areas where they were located have been closed using drywall screws, some of which are still there. The described condition of the vehicle directly influenced my decision to purchase this vehicle. The lack of airbags could not be discovered from an inspection. I spent over $27,000 to purchase and repair this car as I believed that it was a newer car with much longevity. I was misled by the offer from Copart, and the actions of this company amount to deceptive business practices and possibly even fraud in the inducement. The description of the vehicle and its condition, specifically that the airbags were not deployed, led me to believe that the car was as described. Copart either knew or should have known based on the information provided from the lien holder/insurance that either the airbags had all deployed, and those would have been shown in the photos or that they were still in the car and somehow went "missing" while in the custody of copart. Copart knew this and yet they continued to advertise the airbags as intact. Copart knew that the condition of the car was worse than advertised and that the "as is" terms do not shield copart from the liability of this misrepresentation as this was apparently intentional or reckless. I was pulling into my son's driveway to park, and my vehicle did not stop when using the brakes. I struck the rear of his vehicle parked in the driveway. When put in reverse, my vehicle would not stop when using the brakes. My vehicle crossed the street, hit a tree, and eventually stopped when it hit a house. A video of the incident was caught on my son's ring door camera. I will submit screen shots of the video since the ability to submit a video is not an option.

Throttle body replacement at only 23294 miles. Replaced under warranty . Did some searching and Honda is aware of coolant seeping into throttle body. This could cause failure while on road or hwy causing injury or death. This issue should have a priority permanent fix as my family is riding in this vehicle. This is unacceptable Thank You for your time into this report

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM Feb 12, 2026
Vehicle was purchased new on 5/17/2024. On January 16, 2026 the vehicle was brought into a Honda dealership because of 2 lingering issues. 1) It had low power while driving uphill on the freeway. When driving the vehicle from the Bay Area to Reno, the vehicle was unable to keep up with the flow of traffic travelling at the speed limit. Vehicles behind us were agitated. We did not know if this was normal or not and we wanted to have the car checked out. 2) The engine sounded different after the trip to Reno. Youtube videos, including some by Honda dealers had advised that the crv hybrid made noises which were considered normal. We wanted to know if the noise that we we're hearing was normal. The vehicle was in the shop for 26 days. The dealer confirmed the low power but had difficulty diagnosing the engine noise, except that it was not normal. The dealer brought in resources from Honda techline on multiple occasions to assist in diagnosis. During the course of the 26 days in the shop, the dealer ultimately found it necessary to rebuild the entire engine, including replacing the block, cylinder heads, lifters, fuel injector, etc.... We feel fortunate that we did not experience the more extreme loss of power and limp home mode that has been reported. We are very concerned about the future reliability of the vehicle. From the research that we have done, it appears that the primary cause of many of the engine failures experienced by this year/model are due to failure of the fuel injector system. What is really odd, is that the fuel injector system on our vehicle was inspected by the dealer on February 22, 2025, i.e., a year before we brought the vehicle in for the current issues.

The back up camera becomes blurred or unusable in rain and is worse after drying. This is not momentary water droplets. I spoke with NTSA and their reply was based solely on the owner’s manual, despite ongoing loss of rear visibility in wet conditions. I am requesting escalation and review for camera replacement or an updated part, not cleaning. Please don’t refuse to address a backup camera visibility failure, citing the owner’s manual. I need a formal case opened for a rear-visibility safety defect.

While driving under normal conditions on a dry road (no snow or ice), the vehicle experienced a sudden loss of braking performance while in motion. The vehicle was traveling approximately 10–15 mph and approaching an intersection with a red traffic light. A warning message appeared stating: “Brake system problem. Brake performance may be reduced. See your dealer.” Immediately after this message, braking performance was significantly reduced. Multiple attempts to slow the vehicle using the brake pedal resulted in minimal deceleration. The stopping distance was much longer than expected for the speed and conditions. The vehicle only came to a stop after the brake pedal was pressed with full force. Shortly after the initial brake warning, multiple additional safety-related systems went offline, including collision avoidance and other braking-related driver assistance systems. Approximately five to six warning messages appeared, indicating a cascading failure of safety systems while the vehicle was still in motion. The driver was able to slowly maneuver the vehicle to the side of the road and park safely. No collision occurred. However, shortly before this incident, the vehicle had been driven on a highway. If the same failure had occurred at higher speeds or in traffic, it could have resulted in a serious crash or injury. The vehicle is relatively new (approximately two years old, low mileage) and has been routinely maintained. There were no prior warning signs before this event. The vehicle is currently available for inspection at a dealership. A preliminary dealer explanation suggested a possible low or discharged battery; however, the cause of the braking failure has not been clearly established. This incident involved loss of braking performance while the vehicle was in motion, presenting a significant safety risk.

1. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The rear windshield (tempered glass) and the integrated rear defroster heating element system. Yes, the vehicle and the shattered glass (contained within the frame/cargo area) are available for immediate inspection. 2. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? Luckily, this incident occurred when I entered the vehicle not on a roadway. If it had occurred when I was driving its is quite unsafe. The spontaneous failure occurred with a loud explosion, creating an immediate distraction and startle hazard. The shattering resulted in tempered glass shards entering the cabin and falling onto the exterior roadway. This failure compromises the structural integrity of the vehicle, obstructs rear visibility, and exposes the interior to the elements. Had this occurred at highway speeds or with passengers in the rear seat, the risk of injury from glass spray or a secondary collision due to driver distraction would be significant. 3. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center?: No. I contacted Honda of Lynnwood to have the failure confirmed and inspected, but they declined to schedule an appointment. They stated they could not address the issue because it is not classified as a "recall," despite the existence of a Voluntary Production Update for this specific defect. 4. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others?: Not yet. The vehicle is currently awaiting inspection. I am seeking this inspection from Honda of Lynnwood as part of the formal claim process, but have been met with resistance from the dealership. 5. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? There were no warning lamps or electronic messages. The failure was spontaneous.

my 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid regarding the vehicle's stability when shifted into "Park." Upon selecting "Park" and releasing the brake pedal, the vehicle exhibits an excessive rocking motion, surging forward and backward approximately four times before coming to a rest. This is not the standard "settling" common in automatic transmissions; it is a repeated oscillatory movement that suggests a failure in the parking engagement or a lack of coordination with the brake system. This creates a safety hazard, as the vehicle does not feel securely anchored, increasing the risk of a roll-away or injury to passengers exiting the vehicle.

SERVICE BRAKES Jan 21, 2026
My Honda CRV has braked by itself when I am driving, even when theres nothing iin front of me. The break warning signal also pops up for no reason This has happened many times, and I have my kids in the car. The dealer told me they can’t find anything, but the problem keeps happening. I am scared this will cause a crash. Especially having my 2 year old and 3 month old i get scared to drive it --- If you want it even shorter or more personal, I can rewrite it again.

STRUCTURE:BODY Jan 18, 2026
The Incident: On January 16, 2026, around 9:00 AM, while I was driving on the Edens Expressway from Glenview to Evanston, I heard a loud "explosion-type" sound.   Safety Factor: The moonroof spontaneously combusted, but the sunshade was closed due to the 30-degree snowy weather, which fortunately prevented glass from falling on me.   Dealer Inspection: Muller Honda inspected the vehicle and confirmed that the breakage was not caused by rocks, external influences, or negligence.   Dispute: Despite the car being under warranty and evidence from the dealer, Honda has refused to take accountability. There have been similar reports from other owners and past class action lawsuits involving CR-V models from 2022 to 2025.

EXTERIOR LIGHTING Jan 11, 2026
The headlight system is critically deficient when operating the vehicle at night whenever the roads are wet, especially during active precipitation, and especially in poorly lit areas when there is oncoming traffic. The headlights cannot penetrate the water on the roadway and fail to reflect back lane markings most likely due to inferior strength and poor choice of color since White and Blue wavelengths scatter more with water on the roadway. In multiple instances I have had near miss accidents due to being unable to see clearly marked lane markers while I cannot utilize my high beams due to oncoming traffic. I can easily reproduce anytime there is active rain and am willing to let my car be inspected. I also can provide dashcam video upon request. The dealer has not confirmed the issue due to needing precipitation, poorly lit areas and the time of day being night which is after their working hours. The dealer also does not support the installation of fog lights on this model. There are no warning messages, lamps or otherwise. Others on forums such as Reddit acknowledge this is a major issue. I have never felt more unsafe operating any motor vehicle before in the conditions listed above than I am now with this low mileage 2024 CR-V.

I am scared of driving my car in future. * Yes, the vehicle is inspected by Honda dealers and Geico insurance. They are not accepting intermitted break system failure. * There were no warning lamps or messages. Just break stopped working. We were driving in snow mode in Honda CRV. It was snowy road. I was driving my crv and a deer was in the road. I hit the deer going 40mph. It blew out the whole front of my car, my sensors, headlights, both fenders and my hood are dented. No airbags deployed or any sensors alerted me of the object or leaving the roadway. Also when I hit the deer, I lost all steering on that moment. I had to turn off my car and then back on to get my steering to release.

Subject: Safety Recall Concern - VIN: [XXX] - Location: Ukraine Message: "I am writing to report a safety concern regarding my 2024 Honda CR-V (VIN: [XXX] ), which was originally manufactured for the U.S. market and is currently located in Ukraine. According to the official Honda MyGarage portal, my vehicle has two active and unremedied safety recalls: NHTSA Recall 24V-763 (Manufacturer Code: PJW) - High-Pressure Fuel Pump Leak. NHTSA Recall 24V-744 (Manufacturer Code: SMM) - Steering Gearbox (EPS) Friction issue. Given the serious nature of these defects—specifically the risk of fuel leaks/fire and the potential loss of steering control—I am concerned about the safety of operating this vehicle. As the car is now in Ukraine, I would like to request assistance in ensuring that the necessary improved parts (the high-pressure fuel pump and the steering gearbox components) are made available to an authorized Honda dealer in Ukraine to perform these critical safety repairs. I look forward to your guidance on how to proceed with these safety remedies internationally.
