SERVICE BRAKES Mar 31, 2026
On the morning of March 27, 2026 I had an unexpected rear driver side break line blowout with out warning or indication of a broken/damaged break line. Luckily the line blew while I was traveling slowly into my work yard. This could have been a life threating failure, I live 13 miles away from the nearest town, which i have to drive everyday to pick up my daughter from school. The road is not only a 2 way road with the speed limit to 55, but at times its extremely curvy and dangerous. Ford should be ashamed that a multi billion dollar company is not willing to fix this and are willing to put families live in jeopardy. I had to get the car towed from my house to BIG Brand Tire where the technician confirmed that the break line in fact did burst causing my breaks to fail. Big Brand Tire charged me $357.91 and the tow charged me 30 due to how far i had to tow it.
AIR BAGS Mar 30, 2026
i was in a motor vehicle accident on a highway, with speeds greater than 50mph. A car struck my driver side door. My car, spun, with my head hitting the driver side door top trim. Air bags did not deploy.

SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC Mar 23, 2026
The contact owns a 2015 Ford Edge. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V544000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic). The contact stated that while her mother was driving 30 MPH, the brake pedal was depressed, but the vehicle failed to respond. The brake fluid warning light was illuminated. The driver pumped the brake pedal to the floorboard, and the vehicle slowly responded. The driver pulled over to the side of the road. The contact added brake fluid to the vehicle and test-drove the vehicle; however, the failure persisted. Additionally, the contact noticed that the brake fluid was leaking while depressing the brake pedal. The dealer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the manufacturer for assistance. The manufacturer was contacted but no assistance was provided. The contact was advised that the vehicle would be repaired at the owner's expense, and reimbursement would be provided once the recall remedy was available. The failure mileage was approximately 93,000.
ENGINE Mar 13, 2026
My 2015 Ford Edge suddenly turned into a nightmare on what started as a normal drive. I noticed the temperature gauge climbing quickly, the engine started overheating, and then the check engine light came on. Almost at the same time, the engine began feeling like it was slipping—power dropped off, it hesitated and ran rough under acceleration, almost as if the transmission were slipping, but it was the engine itself struggling from poor lubrication. Turns out coolant had gotten into the oil (a pretty common headache with these 3.5L V6 models, often from a failing internal water pump). The mixture turned my oil into a gross, milky sludge that couldn't lubricate the engine properly anymore, leading to overheating and a slipping sensation as things started to bind up inside. I had to pull over quickly before it got even worse—definitely not something I want to go through again.

I’m wanting to report the open recalls on my vehicle. I feel like there has been plenty of time to accommodate for these parts needed for my vehicle. The camera glitched for the first time on me about 6 months ago as I was using it to back up and the glitch caused me to back up into a pole that I didn’t see. I was unable to stop fast enough before I hit the pole as it was glitching. I need these parts from these 2 recalls fixed as soon as possible. Especially if my brakes can go out at any minute. I cannot afford to pay out of pocket for these. Thank you

2.0L EcoBoost engine and coolant intrusion. Coolant leaked into two of the cylinder heads, resulting in engine failure and the need for a full engine replacement.Initially, the vehicle would not start. A tow company technician was able to get the vehicle started, after which I was advised to drive directly to my mechanic. I was informed that the exhaust smelled like diesel fuel and that if the engine were shut off, it was highly unlikely to restart. At that point, the check engine light illuminated. The dealership confirmed the coolant instrusion and the need for a new engine.

Per their diagnosis they found coolant intrusion in cylinder 1 combustion chamber. TSB states replace long block assembly and retest. I was driving the car and it started feeling like it was skipping. I immediately returned home as I had just left the house and parked it. When I parked the check engine light came on.
