VEHICLE INFORMATION: Year: 2013 Make: Land Rover Model: Range Rover Sport VIN: [XXX] Mileage: 97890 DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM: I am unable to properly refuel my vehicle. The gas pump nozzle repeatedly clicks off during refueling due to pressure buildup in the fuel tank, making it extremely difficult
... to add fuel. My authorized Land Rover dealer has diagnosed a saturated evaporative (EVAP) canister as the cause. Safety Recall N623 (Gasoline Fuel Tank Flange Assembly Cracking) was previously completed on my vehicle at Jaguar Main Line in Wayne, PA However, the refueling issue has persisted following that recall repair. The EVAP canister saturation is consistent with prolonged fuel vapor exposure caused by the cracked fuel tank flange that Recall N623 was designed to address. I have made multiple attempts to resolve this with both the dealership and Land Rover North America Customer Relations. I was assigned a case manager|Brittany Thomas|case number 8001492338 [XXX] who has not followed up despite my repeated contact attempts. Land Rover has directed me back to the dealership and the dealership has directed me back to Land Rover, with no resolution provided. The vehicle remains unable to be properly refueled and the EVAP canister replacement has not been covered under goodwill or warranty. ... uring the same event, the air suspension system lowered the vehicle into a safety mode without driver input. The suspension would not raise back up, and the dashboard displayed suspension warnings. The vehicle lowered itself immediately after the steering bind occurred. These symptoms match the same failure pattern described in the recall for 2014–2017 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models involving front suspension/steering knuckle issues and steering safety concerns. Even though my 2013 model year is not included in the recall, it is experiencing the same steering binding and suspension safety‑mode behavior. This issue creates a risk of loss of steering control and unsafe vehicle handling. I called 911 to get emergency assistance because at the time we weren't sure whether it was possible that someone had thrown or shot something at our car. I also called my insurance company while onsite to file a claim. The police arrived and could not find any sign of foul play but noted a comment report to document the incident. We had to drive the car home with shattered glass falling into our car as we drove very slowly home. We were shaken and very confused as to why and how this could have happened. When I got home I Googled, "RDX" and before I could type in anything else, HUNDREDS of customer complaints including news coverage of the very same incident I experienced showed up. Acura/Honda KNEW about this and had issued Service Bulletin (22-014) on 10/28/2022 but never directly informed customers that this could happen. There is no recall, no light indicators, no warning. I was in the car with my son. We could have been on the highway or anywhere when our windshield shattered. I contacted an Acura Dealership and they indicated that I was responsible as the customer. Now, I am having to pay $500 out of pocket in order for my insurance to cover the damages. This may also cause my insurance rate to increase. This is a terrible safety issue and Honda/Acura failed to inform customers and take responsibility for a known, well-documented safety issue.Read more

... n the road, it beeps, puts alerts on the panel visible to the driver and turns off all driving assist features. The problem I'm reporting is that the FAW system is completely broken. Even though I'm looking straight forward, it says I'm not paying attention to the road, sounds loud alerts, then eventually shuts off all of my driving assistance features. I wear glasses, and sometimes sunglasses to reduce glare when driving in bright conditions, and I've tried this with my prescription sunglasses, my normal prescription glasses and even without any glasses. The system erroneously triggers in all cases. I believe that the FAW system false positives is a safety issue because: 1. The constant false alerts are very distracting, making the driver look at the panel in front of them to try to figure out what it's saying, taking their eyes off the road 2. Lane following assist is, itself, a safety feature, by disabling it due to these false positives from the FAW system, this is reducing safety in the vehicle 3. The FAW false positives will abruptly disable the smart cruise control, which is controlling the speed of the car, as well as the lane following assist, helping to keep the car in the lane. This abrupt disabling of these systems can cause the car to slow suddenly and depart from the lane if going around a curve. This can be very dangerous.Read more

I have done this but the trailer manufacturer (Grand Design) will not provide me with this information as they are saying this is a Chevrolet issue and Chevrolet needs to resolve it. This now places me in a situation where I am traveling with a trailer that randomly, and intermittently, has no operating brake system. This places me and the driving public in danger. This problem has been inspected by the manufacturers dealer and they have provided me the technical bulletin referenced above. There is a warning lamp on the dash that informs me of when the trailer brake controller connects and disconnects. This failure first appeared to us on May 30th, 2023 which was the first time we connected to our Grand Design 2500RL trailer. It has been consistently having this issue every time we are connected to the trailer. The truck has been to two Chevrolet dealers so far to try and resolve this issue. I have contacted Chevrolet customer service for an ETA on when this issue is to be resolved and they have none.Read more

I'm not sure how to explain but, there's so much going on with the vehicle. I purchased the vehicle as is but, was told they did an inspection and it was cleared. I was told that the brakes was brand new because, we heard squeaking. We took the vehicle for a diagnostic test because of the brakes.

We only had the brakes done which we paid over 1,000 and we were going to do the rest at another time. We begin having problems with the brakes and vehicle shaking bad when you drive up to 60 mph. We called them, they had no loaner car until February 18, 2022. We were told it'll be safe to drive until then. Took the vehicle in and still having brake problems and now they said, we definetly need to get suspension done because, it could possibly be the Hub and they want to do another diagnostics. So much wrong with vehicle. I asked about the recall because, I noticed something leaking from the back was told they will check it out but, if they don't see anything they don't have to fix it.. I told them there's a recall on it and it need to fix it but, they are refusing to fix it because, it was an AS IS VEHICLE.Read more
