This issue I’ve seen on different forums just happened to me. Lower radiator hose leaking. Car is at 37000 miles and under no circumstance should this be happening to a new vehicle, Mazda has known about the issue apparently in my model year the manufacturing over tighted the clamp causing it to f

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection? The engine experienced catastrophic internal failure. A connecting rod broke and punctured the engine block, rendering the vehicle completely inoperable. This failure is consistent with overheating and internal eng
... ine damage. The vehicle is currently available for inspection upon request. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? The failure occurred suddenly while driving, without warning. The vehicle lost power immediately, which could have resulted in loss of control, inability to accelerate, and exposure to traffic hazards. This created a serious safety risk to myself and others on the road. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? An independent mobile mechanic inspected the vehicle and confirmed catastrophic engine failure. Based on the condition of the engine and damage observed, the failure is consistent with severe overheating and internal mechanical breakdown. Full written diagnosis may be pending. Dealer inspection: UNKNOWN”) Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? The vehicle has not yet been inspected by the manufacturer. Insurance has been notified and may conduct an inspection. The MD state trooper deemed the car inoperable and tagged it. Were there any warning lamps, messages, or symptoms prior to the failure? There were no warning lights, messages, or indications of an issue prior to the failure. The incident occurred suddenly and without warning the same day the vehicle was purchased. At the time of failure, the vehicle had an open and unremedied safety recall (SR-18-001 – Drive Belt Auto Tensioner, NHTSA Campaign #18V069). This defect can cause the drive belt to detach, disabling the water pump and leading to rapid engine overheating. The failure I experienced is consistent with this defect. . I am filing a complaint regarding my 2022 Acura MDX Type S with approximately 70,700 miles. The vehicle developed a suspension system warning, and upon inspection by an Acura dealership, I was informed that the suspension stroke sensor and floor wiring harness are corroded and require replacement. I
... was quoted approximately $12,000 for the repair. This failure is extremely concerning because the vehicle is only a few years old and this type of corrosion affecting a major wiring harness should not occur under normal operating conditions. The affected components are part of the suspension system, which directly impacts vehicle handling and safety. Due to the failure, the suspension system may not function properly, potentially affecting ride height, stability, and overall control of the vehicle. This raises safety concerns, especially at highway speeds or during emergency maneuvers. There was no prior warning of water intrusion or external damage that would reasonably explain this level of corrosion. This appears to be a premature failure of a critical electrical component. Acura has only offered minimal goodwill assistance, leaving the majority of this extremely costly repair as the responsibility of the owner. I am concerned that this may be a broader issue affecting other vehicles and that it could pose a safety risk if not addressed. I am requesting that this issue be investigated. Thank you.Read more

Toyota has issued a recall for the 2025 Sienna Mini Vans: The subject vehicles contain second-row seats that are mounted on seat rails that may have been improperly welded. If these seats are occupied during certain high-speed collisions, the seat may lose structural integrity, increasing the risk
... of injury. This recall was initiated in October 2025, not notifying customers until December of 2025. I was riding around with my young children in these unsafe seats for two months before notified. The dealership is giving me a loaner but it is not large enough or adequete for my family. Toyota continues to list "remedy not yet available" when I go to check on the status. The problem has not been reproduced because they are just not to be sat it which in turn means, I cannot use the vehicle. My vehicle has not been inspected by the dealer or service center as there is no remedy. There wer not any warning lamps that appeared due to this issue.Read more

2014 Ford Fiesta manual sedan exhibiting recurring, dangerous hood latch malfunction (recently noticed) where hood unlatches while driving/parked & experiencing sudden power loss when AC is used (fuse removed to prevent this dangerous condition). Potential safety hazards: obstructed vision, hood det
... achment, engine tampering, sudden loss of control. Ford Service Advisor admitted hood latch "should" be a recall, yet dealership attempts to charge $350-$500 ($250 diagnostic) for repair instead of initiating recall. This raises concerns Ford prioritizes profit over safety, esp. since Fiesta is discontinued. Other issues include previous brake pad lock-up requiring costly ABS Hydraulic Control Unit repair & door latch recall 20S15 ("door may unlatch while driving"). Multiple recurring issues suggest vehicle may be a lemon overall. Request immediate NHTSA investigation into hood latch defect & electrical/AC power loss issue. Urge recall consideration. I will gladly allow my vehicle to be studied in a NHTSA lab to aid investigation. Concern heightened by Ford's discontinuation of model.Read more

The TSB needs to be replaced according to the Hyundai Dealership. This is a known problem and would normally be covered under warranty but I am just outside of my warranty window and it just started happening. The entire audio system, touch screen controls, and hands-free controls do not work. The
... touch screen freezes after a few seconds and freezes on my backup camera creating a major driving distraction. The audio system does not shut of once the vehicle has been turned off creating a problem for the battery which I have to manually disconnect or it will continue to power my touchscreen system even after I leave the vehicle. The lane assist, blind spot indicator, and any beeping warning sounds do not work because of the failing TSB. I cannot change my cars settings or hear any warnings from the car's sensors. I believe this is a major manufacturing flaw and Hyundai will not fix it even though those warning sounds are part of the safety features of the vehicle and are a major player in driver safety. The radio controls do not work - volume included. I cannot adjust any noises in the car and beeping warnings are no longer sounding. I am worried that this problem is also affecting any and all car audio warnings such as the forward collision warning, parking collision warning, and lane departure warning.Read more

While driving on a clear day on a Virginia State Highway at about 50 mph on Sunday, May 16, 2021, my wife and I heard and felt a very loud explosion as if the car had been hit by a very large object. We observed no immediate damage, saw no debris bounce off the car and the car that was closely foll
... owing us made no evasive movements as if there was debris in their path. We stopped within a few hundred yards and noticed that the rear 10 inches or so of the moonroof had simply exploded. The glass was buckled up and shattered. We were not injured and the car functioned normally. We are taking it to the Range Rover dealer this morning and they advise me it is not covered by the warranty. My insurance company, USAA, will most likely pay the cost of repair, which is estimated at $5500. I am convinced this was caused by a defect in the glass or faulty design or manufacture. In my view, this is a serious defect with the potential to cause serious injury.Read more
