The Lebra protection cover negates the safety features on Durangos with front radar. The radar protects the vehicle for collision avoidance, auto speed reduction, lane departure, and other safety features. There is a cutout in the LeBra cover which should permit the radar to function correctly but i
... t does not. My vehicle displays a red light and beeps constantly with the cover installed. Without the cover there are no issues. I contacted Dodge Connect and they stated that this is a know problem with front end covers with radar safety options. They accessed my vehicle and checked the alignment etc. Which was correct. They then led me thru resetting the system to be sure that there was no “hard” error. There were no hard errors and nothing they did fixed the issue. They sent me the following which is printed on the Dodge Durango web site. >>>>Do not attach or install any accessories near the sensor, including transparent material or aftermarket grilles. Doing so will cause an ACC system failure or malfunction. Notice is states NEAR! I sent all the photos requested. They are: A picture of the cover installed, A picture of the front of the radar with the cover on, a picture of the malfunction caused by the cover and a video illustrating the malfunctioning safety issues caused, the serial number of the Lebra, two pictures of the vehicle without the cover installed. These photos can be expanded for a closeup view. I have sent all information and pictures requested by Cover Craft. I have contacted Cover Craft customer service multiple times already and I feel as though I am getting the run-around or simply being ignored. My 2022 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk is experiencing an active failure related to open Safety Recall 40D (NHTSA ID 26V290). The dashboard is displaying a persistent "Service 4WD" warning light, and the vehicle's four-wheel-drive system has completely disabled itself. The vehicle is currently trapped ope
... rating exclusively in front-wheel drive. The local dealership has inspected the vehicle but states they are legally blocked from performing a physical repair because manufacturer Stellantis has designated the recall status as "Remedy Under Development." I have filed an official complaint with the manufacturer under Jeep Corporate Case Number 97546678.I am filing this report because the manufacturer cannot provide a timeline for final physical parts, forcing me to operate a compromised vehicle with an active powertrain defect that carries a documented risk of a sudden loss of drive power or vehicle rollaway. I live in the Northeast and purchased this vehicle for its 4wD. I am nervous driving and it feels shady. I waited 3 hrs for a diagnostic test. They speed me the paper with the code, but did not give me the paperwork. I have a year left on my 5yr drive train, they would not discuss and I only have 31.5K miles in the vehicle. Also. With a loss of propulsion, I could be killed or kill someone else. That is the #1safety issue.Read more

... ged the electronic parking brake without driver input. Driver had to shift to Drive again to get the vehicle moving. On the next attempt, reverse and forward motion worked normally and the vehicle was parked successfully. WHEN THIS OCCURRED: July 24, 2026, approximately 3:40 PM WHERE: A parking lot with mostly empty parking; empty spaces on both sides of the target spot (there was a truck two spots over but otherwise no vehicles present), clear/unobstructed view of all parking lines, no cross-traffic, pedestrians, or objects present WHY (SUSPECTED CAUSE): Unknown. No obstruction, object, or hazard was present that should have triggered automatic braking or a park/e-brake engagement. Suspected false positive from Park Assist / parking sensors or a parking-brake logic fault, consistent with reports from other VW owners of similar phantom-stop and self-shift-to-Park incidents. All sensors were free of any debris. HOW RESOLVED: Condition cleared on its own after shifting to Drive a second time; vehicle was then able to be reversed and parked normally with no further incident.Read more

I purchased a Honda Passport Trailsport Elite on 6/29/26. I had a 3 hr drive ahead of me. After driving approximate 8-10 miles, the seats became extremely uncomfortable to the point that I had to turn around and go back to the dealership. There was excessive pressure on my tailbone/coccyx and caus
... ed so much discomfort that I could no longer sit in the seat. It was impossible to get the seat to a comfortable and safe position while driving. The passenger seat was similar, but not as severe as the driver. Both driver and passenger are unable to sit in the seats for any length of time. When returning to the dealership they agreed that the seats felt very uncomfortable and understood why a person could not safely and comfortably drive any distance. Apparently the fan box for ventilated seats, are the cause of the excessive pressure on the tailbone/coccyx. The dealer fully agrees that the car could not be driven for any length of time with that defect. It would eventually cause a person to develop back issues from the pressure on the spine area. It is now 7/3/26 and my newly purchased car is still at the dealers lot. I tested 2 prior Passport Elites at 2 other dealers and neither had this issue. Apparently this is a huge issue with the new Passport Elite vehicles.Read more

am writing to report a potential safety and fire hazard issue involving my BMW X1, along with ongoing electrical concerns I have experienced with this vehicle since purchase. Approximately two weeks ago, for the first time in three years, I needed to bring the vehicle in for an oil change. Due to my
... work commute of more than two hours each way, neither the BMW dealership near my home nor the one near my workplace was able to accommodate me within a reasonable timeframe. Because I could not continue driving without service, I brought the vehicle to Jiffy Lube for an oil change. During the visit, I agreed to replace the cabin/carbon air filter as recommended. Approximately three weeks later, while driving, I turned on the air conditioning and immediately noticed a strong burning smell coming from the vents. Concerned about a possible electrical or overheating issue, I turned the air off immediately. I contacted BMW service and the earliest available appointment was scheduled for May 20, 2026. During the scheduling call, the BMW service representative informed me that my vehicle also had an active recall that would be addressed during my appointment. When I asked for details, I was told it involved a “software update issue.” On May 18, 2026, I attempted to use the air conditioning again. This time, the burning smell became significantly worse and was combined with a musty odor. Shortly afterward, the ventilation system stopped blowing air entirely. When I arrived at BMW service, I explained the symptoms to my advisor. He responded that the issue “sounded familiar” and stepped away to speak with someone else. When he returned, he explained that another customer had recently reported a similar issue involving a recall on a BMW M5, but stated that the BMW X1 did not currently have the same recall. Given the burning odor, ventilation failure, and the similarity to another BMW recall-related complaint, I believe this issue should be investigated further as a potential hazarRead more

My 2023 GMC Hummer EV 3X has experienced repeated thermal-protection failures in the high-voltage battery and drive-motor cooling system, causing the vehicle to enter limp mode and drop to as low as 12 mph without warning. Stored fault codes: P0C12, P0C13, P2EE0, P2EE1 (battery and drive-unit overhe
... ating). A sudden, unannounced drop to 12 mph in a 9,000-lb EV is a serious safety hazard — on highways it creates rear-end collision risk, in intersections it leaves the vehicle stranded in traffic, and on remote roads it can strand the driver with no safe shoulder. Visit 1 (Covert Buick GMC of Bee Cave, TX): 02/09/2026–03/24/2026, 43 days out of service. Repairs: replaced both EV coolant pumps (PN 85605761), replaced Drive Motor Inverter Module 2 (PN 24059125), coolant flush, software update. RO #BUCS138101. GM TAC Case #88689105. Six days after return, on 03/30/2026, the same defect recurred with the same fault codes. Vehicle has now been back at the dealer 38+ additional days with no resolution. GM had pre-sale knowledge of this exact defect on this exact VIN. The vehicle was a GM corporate evaluation unit (factory option code OAR — EVALUATION VEHICLE) operated out of GM Tech Center in Warren, MI. GM took it out of service on 08/07/2025 at 30,169 miles. I took delivery 16 miles later at 30,185 miles. A GM Driver Inspection Form left inside the vehicle at delivery is handwritten with "Limited Speed 12 mph" — the exact limp-mode behavior. GM auctioned the vehicle through CVO Warren Distribution Center without disclosing this condition. I request ODI open a preliminary evaluation of cooling-system thermal-protection failures on 2022–2024 Hummer EV Pickups and SUVs, particularly units with prior corporate/fleet use.Read more

While driving between [XXX] and [XXX] , the vehicle suddenly lost fuel. The estimated miles to empty started to drop rapidly from 70 miles to 50 miles within minutes. At a safe point, I pulled over, there was no pooling of fuel under the vehicle, no other warning lights were issued. I turned aro
... und to return to [XXX] , the engine stalled and ran out of gas at mile marker 18 just north of [XXX] . I left the vehicle on the side of the road and walked back to [XXX] . This stretch of road has no cell service. The vehicle was towed to Corwin Ford for inspection. I requested that Recall CSP25S76 be completed on the vehicle, and replace the fuel injectors. The response was that the fuel tank needs to be replaced. They have not provided diagnostic evidence of why. I think this falls under CSP 21S38. Additionally, the catalytic converter was replaced in January under [XXX] and the emissions warranty extension. The vehicle has high mileage, but the purge valve should not have stuck open and this is a known issue with the Ford Bronco Sports. On [XXX], I was driving on the highway with my family in the vehicle and the check engine light came on, then it started running roughly. I headed off the highway on an exit ramp and the engine died about halfway down the ramp. It wouldn't restart after that. This happened about an hour away from
... my house in Painesville, OH. I live in Erie, PA. I had to tow it to the nearest GMC dealer. They've since concluded that the engine failed and have ordered a replacement engine from GMC. The yukon only had about 4,900 miles on it. GMC has claimed that their engine problems were fixed for the 2025 and 2026 model years, or else I would not have purchased this vehicle. Obviously there are still major issues and the 2026 6.2L engines need to be recalled. I understand that there is an ongoing investigation into these issues: RQ26001. I was driving straight in the left most lane on an expressway, about to make a left turn on a green left turn arrow. The vehicle in front of me was making a U-turn. My Hyundai Tucson abruptly braked quite hard. I'm not sure what caused it but I'm guessing the vehicle making U-turn slowed down a bit
... before the U-turn and might have triggered a forward collision avoidance braking but I didn't feel like there was a need. This caused the vehicle right behind me to also abruptly brake and if they hadn't, they might have rear-ended my car. My vehicle is experiencing exhaust fume issue where the exhaust fumes are entering into the cabin for Explorer and Aviator models (Any model with the 3.0L Ecoobost). Upon inspection by 3rd party mechanic, it can be determined that the problematic catalytic converters that are not the one piece cast
... was installed on my vehicle from the factory. Speaking to other ST and Interceptor owners, the problem seems widespread to every 2021 model that Ford installed the multipiece welded catalytic converters. Apparently the cast part fairs better and is not subject to cracks. The recall originally covered the left side catalytic converter but the flawed design also affects the right side catalytic converter where many owners are experiencing this issue. This has affected all 3.0L Ecoboost engine vehicles. [XXX] I believe the recall should have extended to cover all 2020 and 2021 model year vehicles. There are forum posts where owners outside the recall have experienced the issue in addition to owners having to repeatedly replace the catalytic converters post warrant as Ford continued to reinstall bad catalytic converters as part of the repair process. I have driven this vehicle for several thousand miles with the issue and did not realize exhaust was leaking until notices of headaches and health issues as CO is odorless, causing CO2 levels to reach 3000+ inside the cabin at stop lights and blows in through the vents if A/C is on. I believe NHTSA should investigate this issue further and require Ford to replace both catalytic converters as this issue poses a serious health hazard, especially given the location of the exhaust leak and the commonplace occurrence. I am happy to forward to forums and provide evidence of this occurring. Ford considers lifetime of the vehicle to be ~150K miles and these exhausts do not last close to that, resulting in a massive expense and danger to US consumers.
