I PURCHASED A 1996 CHEVY CAVALIER IN 1999 AND FROM THE BEGINNING HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CONTINUALLY ON ETC. FROM 1999 TO SEPT 2010 - I TOOK IT TO SEVERAL CHEVY DEALERS WHILE IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY AND THEY NEVER FIXED THE PROBLEM COMPLETELY AND THE LIGHTS REMAINED ON. I WAS TOLD TO PUT FUEL INJECTION CLEANER IN IT BY ONE CAR DEALER OF COURSE THAT DIDN'T WORK. YEARS LATER AND MANY REPAIRS, ENGINE REBUILT, THERMOSTAT REPLACED, WATER PUMPS, FANS ETC.. FOUR CATALYTIC CONVERTERS I STILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM - LOSS OF POWER, CAR SHUTTING OFF AND LEAVING ME IN INTERSECTION, FREEWAYS ETC.. THE DRIVERS SIDE HEADLIGHT WAS DIM AND IT MADE IT VERY HARD TO SEE AT NIGHT. THE HAS RECEIVED NUMEROUS TICKETS ABOUT THIS PROBLEM. THE CONSUMER HAS NOTICED THIS ON TWO OR THREE VEHICLES A WEEK ON CAVALIER'S AND SUNFIRE'S. THE CONSUMER CALLED THE DEALER AND THEY SAID THEY HAD BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE WIRE HARNESS IN THIS TYPE OF VEHICLE.

I PURCHASED A 1996 CHEVY CAVALIER Z24 ON MAY 13, 2004 WITH ONLY 73,000 MILES ON IT PERFECT CONDITION, GREAT CAR, WELL 7 DAYS LATER MY REAR PASSENGER TIRE SNAPPED OFF RESULTING IN ME HAVING AN ACCIDENT !! I AM OUT OF WORK NOW, I AM TRYING TO GET COMPENSATED FOR THIS CAUSE I AM OUT OF MONEY, I FEEL THIS WAS NOT FAIR , THIS WHOLE YEAR I HAVE TRIED TO GET LAWYER AFTER LAWYER NO ONE WANTS TO HELP ME I HAVE THE CAR STILL AND THE TIRE THAT SNAPPED OFF , IT'S A PERFECT CLEAN CUT TO THE AXLE JUST BY LOOKING AT IT YOU CAN TELL THE AXLE GAVE AWAY!! NOW I AM OUT OF A CAR, MONEY, NO JOB, AND PAIN EVERYDAY!!! *JB
