THE TIRE BLEW OUT ON BOTH SIDES, AND THE TREAD SEPARATED. THIS WAS A FRONT TIRE ON AN ALL-WHEEL-DRIVE VAN. PUTTING ON THE SPACE-SAVER SPARE IN THE DARK ON THE SHOULDER OF THE INTERSTATE WAS VERY NERVE-WRACKING AND HAZARDOUS. A STATE TROOPER GAVE US ADVICE AND WARNED US ABOUT HOW DANGEROUS THE SITUATION WAS. THE OTHER FRONT TIRE, UPON EXAMINATION AT A TIRE DEALER, ALSO HAD SEPARATING TREAD. THE TIRES ARE P21575R15. APPLYING THE BRAKES DID NOT HAVE THE EFFECT OF DISENGAGING THE CRUISE CONTROL. THE FUEL PUMP WENT OUT WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AT 40MILES PER HOUR, THEREBY LOSING ALL POWER STEERING, BRAKES ETC. IS THE 3RD TIME IN 3 YEARS THIS HAS HAPPENED. FIRST TIME STOPPED AT RED LIGHT, STALLED AND REFUSED TO RESTART, 2ND TIME WAITING FOR BRIDGE TO CLOSE, TODAY GOING DOWN ROAD. COULD HAVE BEEN VERY SERIOUS. HAS BEEN REPLACED EACH TIME.

I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH CARBON BUILDING UP IN MY EZRA VALVE OF MY 1995 CHEVROLET ASTRO VAN. THIS HAS BEEN A CONSTANT PROBLEM. I HAVE HAD THE CARBON BLASTED OUT MORE THAN ONCE. I REPLACED THE ENTIRE FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM. I ADD PRODUCTS TO HELP WITH THE CARBON PROBLEM, BUT IT STILL CONTINUES.
