PCNA's own ATI 2235.1 (NHTSA MC-XXX) required vacuum line inspection — not performed. Second failure: October 3, 2025 (103,904 miles, RO 207205). Coolant documented at timing chain cover. When driving at highway speeds there randomly is a full loss of engine power for 3 to 5 seconds. Each time this has occurred I was on the highway and depressing the gas pedal further to either pass another car or because I'm driving up and incline. For several seconds the car looses all power and

I am unsure whether it's the transmission disconnecting from the engine, or the engine dropping to idle speed, I have tried pressing the gas pedal further and also tried the paddle shifters to force a downshift, and neither has any effect. I have been to the dealer multiple times and they can't re-create the issue so they dismiss it.Read more

The driver sustained multiple injuries, including a ruptured right breast implant, two lower back herniations, and a neck herniation. A minor child occupant seated on the front passenger's side also sustained a neck herniation. The driver and minor child occupant received medical treatment following the incident. Assessment of Ongoing Mechanical & Safety Issues – 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer To Whom It May Concern, I am providing a clear, factual assessment of the ongoing issues with my 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, which I purchased for $108,000 and have owned for less than two years. During this time, I have e
... xperienced twelve separate mechanical and functional failures, several of which have rendered the vehicle undriveable for prolonged periods. Below is a summary of the major issues that continue to impact the reliability, safety, and usability of this vehicle. 1. Seat / Massage Mechanism Defect (Ongoing for Months) A malfunction in the seat massage system has created a large, hard protrusion in the driver’s seat. This defect has resulted in significant back pain, requiring both urgent care and follow-up medical evaluation. I have now been diagnosed with sciatica, which my physician has indicated is likely related to prolonged pressure and improper spinal support caused by the seat malfunction. Two dealerships have confirmed the issue and ordered the replacement part months ago, yet the part delivery has been repeatedly delayed, most recently to January 6, 2026. This has affected my ability to safely and comfortably operate the vehicle, and has now escalated into a documented medical issue. 2. Suspension Noise During Auto-Leveling The vehicle’s air suspension system produces extremely loud noises during auto-adjustments. This raises concerns regarding the safety and structural integrity of the suspension system. 3. Window Hinge Failure A window hinge has prematurely failed, requiring service intervention. This is not consistent with typical wear for a vehicle less than two years old. 4. Cruise Control Malfunction The cruise control system intermittently ceases functioning while driving. The only way to restore it is to turn the vehicle off and restart it, which presents a safety concern when traveling at highway speeds. This points to a possible electrical orRead more

SAFETY DEFECT: Database Classification Failure - 2013 Ram Vehicles Vehicle: 2013 Ram 1500, VIN: [ENTER VIN ABOVE] Owner: [ENTER NAME ABOVE] Email: [ENTER EMAIL ABOVE] Phone: [ENTER PHONE ABOVE] Defect Description: The 2013 model year Ram vehicles suffer from a systematic database classification
... failure that prevents normal ownership operations and creates safety hazards. Due to the Dodge-to-Ram brand transition in 2013, these vehicles are not properly recognized in automotive databases used by: • Auto parts retailers (O'Reilly's, AutoZone, etc.) • Insurance companies and quote systems • Tire retailers and service centers • Emergency roadside assistance systems • Government vehicle registration systems Safety Implications: • Inability to quickly procure critical replacement parts during emergencies • Delays in obtaining proper insurance coverage • Emergency service complications due to vehicle misidentification • Forced manual workarounds that increase human error risk Consumer Impact: Vehicle owners are forced to spend excessive time and resources (phone calls, manual lookups, repeated explanations) to perform basic vehicle ownership functions. This constitutes an operational defect that prevents normal commercial transactions. Requested Action: NHTSA should require Stellantis to issue a recall to correct the database classification error across all automotive systems, or provide alternative identification mechanisms that ensure proper vehicle recognition. Root Cause: Stellantis' failure to properly coordinate database updates during the 2013 Dodge Ram to Ram transition, leaving vehicles in a "database orphan" state.Read more

Had some issues with turn signals and a check engine light. My car is a 2013 SL63 AMG with 22700 miles. It sits in garage 95 percent of the time under cover. Took car to dealer and they replaced both batteries it fixed al of the lights except my turn signal. I asked the dealer why didn't you check t
... he turn signal I got no response. I had to drive to Louisville the next day and on the way home I noticed my headlights were out and had to drive 75 miles with only fog lights. I took it to another mechanic who took the bumper off and was shocked and how much water was in my headlights and in my electrical components. He said I'm lucky the car didn't shut down or catch fire and sent me pictures of water and a brown sludge he said was some kind of manufacture fix to absorb water in the lens. He said he has never seen anything this bad on such a nice low mile car. I told him I have complained to dealer many times over the years about fog and water in my headlights and every time they would say its normal it will evaporate out of the lenses. But it also left spots and dirt inside the lenses you cant get to clean. It was so frustrating they would do NOTHING about it when I was under warranty. I researched online and found many other similar complaints with jerry rig fixes the dealers would try as they never want to replace the defective headlamp as the cost to much. This is a manufacture issue and they know about it and they just push it under the rug because they don't want to pay for the recall to fix all these cars. Its sad where is the quality anymore and the safety for consumers. I read a blog where the water shorted out his computer and he lost all controls of car steering and everything. Sad that they take profit of safety for it customers.Read more

Near the first of the year 2024 I received a fuel pump recall notice for my 2019 Acura RDX. To date, no parts for addressing this issue have been available and no timeline has been made available as to when parts would be available. I am planning my annual trip to the Eastern Sierra in early Septemb
... er where no Acura dealer is available nearby. Should the fuel pump fail during that trip it would be a significant inconvenience for me, including interruption of medical appointments, room and board expenses, pet sitting expenses, etc., as I have been told by Honda that in such an emergency situation the car would have to be towed to the nearest dealership, with the part being specially ordered which would take 2 weeks and that I may be responsible for my room and board, and other costs during that period. I find this behavior to be outrageous. Additionally I have been told by my local dealer that it is not possible to determine possible failure beforehand as either it is working or it has failed. This is totally opposite from what I was told by Honda which was to schedule an appointment with a dealer to determine the status of the fuel pump so that they could special order one for replacement if it demonstrated potential failure. This entire issue reeks of poor and ineffective management of this situation by Honda, likely putting costs over safety putting me at substantial risk for this trip that was planned a year ago and likely will cost me my deposit and access privileges if canceled. As such, I am requesting that NHTSA hold Honda/Acura accountable for this disgraceful behavior, putting owners of their vehicles at substantial risk, and demand that they explore and take immediate actions to resolve the parts shortage in a reasonable amount of time.Read more
