The first time the collision warning lights and sounds came on when I was parked but had my engine on in the morning of 7/21/2026. The second time was when I was merging on a busy highway with cars going 65+mph... There were no cars around me, but the collision warning said crash, the sounds came on
... , and my brakes went into effect. I pulled off the road, and now I am terrified to drive my car. I called KIA and told them this. They sent out a tow. They had my car and told me that the computer on my car did not register any issues for both times this happened. Someone is taking my car home tonight and going on the same highway to see if it happens again.Read more

I am reporting a serious, progressive structural defect involving excessive frame flex and structural failure on a 2021 Grand Design Momentum 395MS fifth-wheel RV. This complaint directly aligns with the ongoing NHTSA investigation PE24-0209. The unit exhibits clear and worsening structural integri
... ty failure, including: Slideouts and doors open during transport. Upper deck walls moving under load Lag bolts missing or backing out and pushing through flooring At least one critical structural bolt missing from factory installation Floor deformation and slope changes in the upper deck Slide-out malfunction due to frame distortion Loud popping and snapping noises while towing consistent with frame flex or structural separation These conditions reflect loss of structural integrity under normal use and represent a serious safety hazard, including risk of catastrophic failure while towing. On June 24, 2026, Lippert (frame/component supplier) assigned Case #6876203 and scheduled a mobile service inspection. This Grand Design Momentum 395ms is not safe to tow. It is a danger on the roads and they need to be recalled at the least for inspections of the frame for damage.Read more

I own a 2022 Nissan Leaf (VIN [XXX] ) affected by Recall 25V-655. This recall prohibits use of Level 3 DC fast-charging due to a potential battery-fire risk, leaving the car unsuitable for long-distance use. My dealer’s service manager told me Nissan may have a fix “in spring 2026 or not.” Th

The timing suggests Nissan may have known the 2022 recall was imminent but had not disclosed it to dealers or buyers. 2006 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 frame broke in the same location as recall defect, causing rear suspension collapse. Dealer denied recall coverage due to modifications, but failure matches official recall issue. My 2006 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 suffered a complete frame break, causing the rear suspension to
... collapse while riding. This matches the safety defect covered under Kawasaki’s recall for 2006–2007 ZX-14 models. I was told to tow my motorcycle to a dealer for recall repair and provided a log number. The dealer later denied coverage, claiming my modifications (lowered and stretched) caused the failure. This is not reasonable, as many ZX-14 owners have similar modifications without failures, while documented reports online show identical frame breaks both with and without modifications. My bike has been in this setup for years without issues until the sudden failure. The break occurred in the exact location noted in the recall, with no warning signs beforehand. This was a life-threatening incident that could have killed me. Kawasaki customer service told me my case was still under review and that no photos were submitted, while the dealer claimed photos were sent and a California rep denied the claim. Even the customer service representative could not explain why it was denied. This is the same defect that was recalled, and Kawasaki should be held liable regardless of aftermarket parts. A frame should not catastrophically fail simply because of modifications unless Kawasaki had explicitly warned of such risks.Read more

I park my Volvo in my driveway which has a blind exit to a pedestrian sidewalk. When I start the car and put it in D or B mode, it does not make any sound. There are 10 warning lights currently on the dash. This is and has been an ongoing issue for over a year. Turning off the car then turning it back on the lights would go away. The car would periodically start to slow on its own while foot was still on the gas pedal which was dangerous in the middle
... of traffic or going 65 to 70 miles per hour on a highway. December 31, 2024 my car got towed to the Honda Dealership because the car stalled and wouldn't go past 15 miles per hour. Again the dash lit up. It was my understanding that it was because of the latest recall of the fuel pump issue that took over a year to be completed. The recall of the fuel pump was done January 6, 2025which took a week to complete and a week of work I missed with no available loaner car available to me. Once I got the car back the lights were not on the dash anymore but within 5 minutes of driving the car the lights came back on but the car did not stall and was able to go past the 15 miles per hour that was the original problem. Since January 2025 I have been dealing with these warning indicator lights and being the lights were on when Honda received the car to perform the recall I would assume a diagnosis would have been done but once I got the receipt there was no other issues recorded that was wrong with the car. There are absolutely too many Honda Accords with this problem. I've read everything from moisture in the tail lights triggering the lights, faulty battery, head gaskets, injectors to spark plugs. My car is no longer under a warranty and I have no means of paying for a guessing game when it comes to diagnosing the real problem with these cars. People are paying $5000 sometimes more and still having the same problem once they drive away. I honestly think a recall on this issue need to happen before something tragic happens. Maybe because it took over a year for Honda to get parts in to fix the recall fuel pump issue this is an exact result of going so long with the faulty fuel pump.Read more

On June15, 2025, the passenger’s side vent window glass partially delaminated from the actuator assembly while driving, damaging the actuator and window glass. The front passenger window has never sealed properly since we purchased the RV new. Newmar was notified of this in August 2021, when the
... coach was returned to Nappanee, IN for warranty repairs. After the window failure, I discovered that Lippert/Newmar issued an NHTSA Recall for these windows on September 8, 2021. The recall notes the issue as being: “the adhesive that bonds the vented portion of the window may fail. Adhesive failure may cause the vent portion of the window to detach…”. We did not receive this recall notice from Newmar. This window, part number 757205, is covered under Lippert HEHR6400 Series Window Vent Recall, NHTSA recall number: 21E047. I contacted Lippert immediately following the window failure on June 16, 2025. After being provided photographic documentation of the window failure, as well as confirmation of the defective part number, Lippert issued case number: 5952303. On June 18, 2025, Lippert instructed me to contact the OEM (Newmar) to arrange inspection and repair of the recalled window with an authorized dealer. On June 18, 2025, I contacted Newmar, who denied responsibility for the recall defect claiming the window had been inspected in August of 2021. When I informed Newmar that I would be filing a complaint with the NHTSA, I was issued a Newmar case number: 00989760. Since June 18, 2025, I have contacted every authorized Newmar Dealer within a 250 mile radius, providing them with: the recall information, Lippert and Newmar case numbers, and the part number for the recalled defective window. To date, no dealership has responded or even contacted Newmar for authorization. On July 9, 2025 I again attempted to contact Newmar to progress the matter and have yet to receive any form of reply. My experience with Newmar is that this recalcitrance is the norm.Read more

Vehicle: 2021 Ford Bronco VIN: [XXX] Mileage: Approximately 88,000 miles Complaint: I am reporting major safety and drivability concerns with my 2021 Ford Bronco, which is currently undrivable and in the shop at Ron DuPrat Ford in Dixon, California. Despite experiencing issues nearly identical to
... those covered under existing recalls, my vehicle’s VIN is not currently included. While driving on the freeway, the vehicle suddenly malfunctioned. Without warning, it dropped into first gear at high speed, causing a rapid and unexpected deceleration. This could have easily resulted in a serious accident or even death — not only for my family but for others on the road. This is a major safety issue. After pulling off the road, the vehicle would no longer go into reverse and became completely undrivable. I also received multiple dashboard alerts, including: “An electrical fault has occurred with the transmission fluid pressure sensor circuit and its associated wiring.” “Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power” “A Powertrain or All Wheel Drive (AWD)/Four Wheel Drive (4WD) fault has been detected.” This is our main family vehicle, used daily for commuting and travel. I am still making payments on it, and the fact that it has become unsafe and unusable at this mileage is unacceptable. If this vehicle was not built for long-term use or daily driving, that should be clearly stated not discovered through dangerous failures like this. I no longer feel safe transporting my children in this car. I strongly urge the NHTSA to investigate whether the current recall coverage should be expanded to include additional VINs like mine. To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally report a serious and recurring safety issue with my 2024 Chevrolet Equinox, and to request immediate investigation and resolution. The vehicle has, on multiple occasions, unexpectedly gone into “reduced power” mode (also referred to as “limp mod
... e”), drastically limiting acceleration while driving at full speed in traffic. This most recently occurred while my teenage daughter was behind the wheel, causing the car to completely shut off in the middle of the street. The first time this happened, I was traveling at approximately 55 mph on Highway 74 when the vehicle suddenly decelerated to about 35 mph without warning, despite my attempts to accelerate. The check engine light appeared only after the power loss. We narrowly avoided a serious crash. We had to engage hazard lights, swerve through traffic, and coast the vehicle home.
