Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 Jaguar XF vehicles manufactured May 22, 2013, to June 15, 2015 and equipped with 2.0L GTDi engines. The affected vehicles may have insufficient clearance between the underfloor fuel delivery lines and the under shield and body allowing the fuel lines to chafe, possibly resulting in a fuel leak.
Remedy: Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the fuel line for abrasions, replacing it as necessary and install additional clips, free of charge. STEERING:HYDRAULIC POWER ASSIST SYSTEM

The retaining bolt for the Front End Auxiliary Drive (FEAD) idler pulley on the engine may fail resulting in a loss of power steering assist.
Remedy: Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the FEAD pulley assembly, free of charge. Owners were sent interim notifications on May 28, 2016. This recall began July 1, 2016. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is J061.

In the affected vehicles, the right-hand rear brake pipe may wear against a bracket located on the rear sub frame. This condition may cause the brake pipe to wear through and leak brake fluid.
Remedy: Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the rear brake pipe for signs of wear, maninpulate the bracket on the rear sub frame, and inspect and replace the rear brake pipes if wear is visible, free of charge. To the best of my ability id like to explain why my car does not operate . i have taken my car to two jaguar dealership and have talked to Rocco' s European car repair shop as well and the all say that what is defective with my car is the central junction box. When I asked them all as to why this does not function they all said its a known problem with the car specifically due to "water ingress" leaking from the windshield wiper pump and on to the underside of the Central junction box and my wires are corroded and cause electrical failure as the say water and electricity are not a safe combination. with this malfunction my car no longer starts . Yes of course my car is available for inspection and it has been confirmed by both Hennessey Jaguar of Atlanta and Jaguar south Atlanta both have provided documentation as to the necessity to change the central junction box and both dealership's are not privately owned and not connected to one another yet they state the same reason as to why my car will not function. Yes my 2013 jaguar is a dangerous vehicle to drive as the car doors spontaneously opened and closed on their own the interior lights turned on and off and some other malfunctions engaged even when not engaged to do so i believe the breaking system also flashed traction control turns on even though i didn't ask it to be turned on. i am afraid that my car with water in the junction box could lead to an electrical fire as told to me by numerous mechanics Yes my car was inspected by both dealerships in Atlanta and both diagnosed the problem and being the "CJB." The symptoms initially started with my doors mysteriously locking and unlocking and then other electrical problems occurred after that. These symptoms first appeared in 2021 and there were messages that flashed on the dash message especially one that said see owners handbook i may not be sure of the wording but that's essentially the message . this is my best assessment of the problems.

The car employs a start/stop system to shut the engine when stopped. When it restarts the engine, the idle speed drops to about 400 RPM (half normal idle) and surges when it recovers. It has also stalled several times. I've asked the dealership to fix this, but when at the dealer, the system would not shut the engine so they have not verified the issue. The first safety issue happens if the driver is not expecting the surge resulting in sudden acceleration. The second issue happened when the car stalled at an intersection with other cars trying to get by. This has happened many times since I purchased the car in 2015. The stop/start function stopped working for a period of time when the primary battery was older and weak. Since replacing the batter, this is happening more frequently now. There have been constant issues with this vehicle. The car has a strong odor of gasoline when driven. No alarms or indicators tells me that there is a problem. There have been safety recalls on this particular model that have the exact same issues but when checked my vin number is not listed. This needs to be investigated because I believe that this is an continuance of the same issues that has affected the 2013 XF Jaguars.
IT IS VERY ALARMING TO SEE THAT OVER THE COURSE OF A COUPLE OF YEARS MY VEHICLES DASHBOARD IS SEPARATING ITSELF FROM THE METAL FRONT AIR CONDITIONING VENT PIECE THIS IS HAPPENING FOR NO APPARENT REASON ON MY JAGUAR XF
I LATELY NOTICED YOUR JAGUAR RECALL FOR MODELS XF OF 2013. IT CONCERNS FUEL PUMP IMMEDIATE SHUTOFF WHEN THERE IS EXCESS FUEL PUMP AMPERAGE AND A FUSE TRIPS TO SHUT OFF THE FUEL PUMP. IT CANNOT BE RESET UNTIL THE FUSE COOLS DOWN, AT LEAST 20 MINUTES IS REPORTED. MY CAR'S VIN NUMBER IS APPARENTLY OVER THE SPECIFIED COVEERGE PERIOD SO #15V091000 RECALL DOES NOT APPLY TO MY 2013 CAR. AT THE TIME IN LOOKING FOR ANSWERS I FOUND NONE. MY EVENT: THIS PAST SUMMER I WAS DRIVING TO SUDBURY, MA AT 10 P.M. MY ENGINE SUDDENLY STOPPED ON THE FULL SPEED AND MORE NARROW CURVING ENTRANCE TO THE MASS PIKE {FROM ROUTE 91 IN CONNECTICUT}! I WAS STUCK THERE FOR WELL OVER AN HOUR, EVERY SO OFTEN TRYING TO RESTART THE CAR; TO NO AVAIL. IT FINALLY COST ME $400 TO HAVE THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE SUDBURY JAGUAR DEALER AND LEFT OVERNIGHT FOR MORNING ACTION. SURPRISE, THE GARAGE MECHANIC THE NEXT MORNING TURNED THE KEY AND THE CAR STARTED IMMEDIATELY. IT HAD ALWAYS STARTED BEFORE THE COSTLY INCIDENT AND HAS STARTED IMMEDIATELY EVER SINCE. BUT THERE I WAS ON A CURVE AT NIGHT WITH 60 MPH+ TRUCKS AND CARS PASSING ME EVERY FEW SECONDS! AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION. THE CAR RAN FINE FOR A FEW MILES, BUT ONCE I STARTED TO ACCELERATE INTO THE 50-60 MPH RANGE ONTO THE HIGHWAY AGAIN A FEW MILES DOWN THE ROAD, THE SAME THING HAPPENED. IT STARTED TO OVERHEAT AND SMOKE TERRIBLY. I PULLED OVER TO THE SHOULDER AS QUICKLY AS SAFELY POSSIBLE AND NOTIFIED JAGUAR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE IN ORDER TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED BACK TO THE DEALERSHIPS SERVICE DEPARTMENT TO BE WORKED ON. THE DEALERSHIP ENDED UP REPLACING THE ENGINE. I INSISTED THAT I WAS NOT COMFORTABLE WITH THIS CAR ANYMORE AND WANTED AN EXTENDED BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY. I WAS ASSURED THAT THEY HAD PRACTICALLY "REPLACED EVERYTHING UNDER THE HOOD AND IT WOULD RUN LIKE A BRAND NEW CAR." THIS WAS 8 MONTHS AGO. THE CAR HAS SINCE BEEN IN THE SHOP FOR 3 ADDITIONAL MONTHS ON 10+ DIFFERENT OCCASIONS. THE COOLANT HAD BEEN LEAKING AND WAS DANGEROUSLY LOW. I ADDED COOLANT AS PER THE JAGUAR HANDBOOK INSTRUCTION AND ABOUT AN HOUR LATER TRIED TO GET BACK ON THE ROAD. THE CAR RAN FINE FOR A FEW MILES, BUT ONCE I STARTED TO ACCELERATE INTO THE 50-60 MPH RANGE ONTO THE HIGHWAY AGAIN A FEW MILES DOWN THE ROAD, THE SAME THING HAPPENED. IT STARTED TO OVERHEAT AND SMOKE TERRIBLY. I PULLED OVER TO THE SHOULDER AS QUICKLY AS SAFELY POSSIBLE AND NOTIFIED JAGUAR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE IN ORDER TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED BACK TO THE DEALERSHIPS SERVICE DEPARTMENT TO BE WORKED ON. THE DEALERSHIP ENDED UP REPLACING THE ENGINE. I INSISTED THAT I WAS NOT COMFORTABLE WITH THIS CAR ANYMORE AND WANTED AN EXTENDED BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY. I WAS ASSURED THAT THEY HAD PRACTICALLY "REPLACED EVERYTHING UNDER THE HOOD AND IT WOULD RUN LIKE A BRAND NEW CAR." THIS WAS 8 MONTHS AGO. THE CAR HAS SINCE BEEN IN THE SHOP FOR 3 ADDITIONAL MONTHS ON 10+ DIFFERENT OCCASIONS. THE CAR IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE, IT BREAKS DOWN WHEN STARTING OR SOMETIMES EVEN WHEN ON THE HIGHWAY AND IS VERY DANGEROUS. IVE HAD QUITE A FEW CLOSE CALLS. THIS CAR IS DANGEROUS AND THE DEALERSHIP EITHER CANNOT FIX IT OR WANTS TO KEEP PUTTING BAND AIDES ON IT UNTIL MY WARRANTY IS OUT THEN ITS NOT THEIR PROBLEM ANYMORE. I HAVE LOST MY JOB DUE TO THE UNRELIABILITY OF THIS LEMON VEHICLE AND THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IN FORT MYERS JAGUAR.

TAKATA RECALL I HAVE A 2013 JAGUAR XF 3.0 THAT BEGAN RUNNING A LITTLE ROUGH AROUND 30,000 MILES IN 2016. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND WHEN I TOOK IT BACK TO THE RETAILER THEY SAID THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG "POSSIBLY A LOOSE GAS CAP." THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED FROM CAPITOL LUXURY CARS STATED AS "TEK AUTOMOTIVE GROUP, LLC." ON THE CAR CARE PLAN, LOCATED AT 347 NEW KARNER RD.,RTE 155, COLONIE, NEW YORK 12205, (518) 452-1100. ON AUGUST 6, 2015 ON THE WAY HOME FROM WORK ON INTERSTATE 95 SOUTH, THE VEHICLE TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT HAD COME ON.I DECIDED AS SOON I WAS OFF THE MAJOR ROUTE I WOULD STOP TO PUT AIR IN THE TIRE. THE TIRE BLEW OUT COMPLETELY, OUT OF NOWHERE, NEARLY CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE IT HAD BEEN PURCHASED THE NEXT DAY. I WAS TOLD THAT RIM (PASSENGER RIGHT REAR) WAS CRACKED AND THEY DID NOT KNOW THE CAUSE OF THE TIRE BLOW-OUT. THE TIRE WAS UNDER WARRANTY THE COST WAS STILL $1,168.36 FOR ONE TIRE RIM ISSUE. THEN ON SEPTEMBER 21, 2015, THE PASSENGER RIGHT FRONT TIRE BECAME BALLED DUE TO AN IMPROPER ALIGNMENT I HAD TO PAY $1,310.27 FOR 4 WINTER TIRES. THEN ON OCTOBER 30, 2015 ANOTHER TIRE WAS NOT HOLDING AIR. I WAS TOLD THE DRIVER SIDE LEFT RIM WAS CRACKED AND THAT AGAIN THE RIM WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. I WHOLE HEARTED REFUSED TO PAY ANOTHER $1,200 FOR ONE RIM/REPAIR. IN A MEETING WITH THE GENERAL MANAGER, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, MAINTENANCE SHOP FOREMAN, AND THE SERVICE ADVISOR, THE FOREMAN STATED THAT HE THOUGHT THE TIRE ISSUE WAS CAUSED BY POTHOLES IN THE AREA AND THAT IN GENERAL HE HAS SEEN A LOT OF RIMS CRACKED.
