This is the third time that my jeep has completely shut off with no warning and in the middle of traffic. I am unable to turn on any hazard lights. The power goes completely out, and I am unable to put the car in neutral or anything to be safe. I have reported this issue in the past. The dealership

I’m reporting a serious safety issue with my 2018 Audi Q7. Both rear suspension springs failed suddenly while I was driving at highway speeds 70 MPH, with no warning at all. This was extremely dangerous—I almost lost control of the vehicle when it happened. The rear of the car dropped and handl
... ing became unstable immediately. There were no prior signs, noises, or issues leading up to the failure. This kind of failure should not happen under normal driving conditions, especially on a vehicle like this. Having both springs fail at the same time creates a major safety risk not only for me but for others on the road. I had to replace both rear springs at my own expense. Based on what I’ve seen, this may be a known issue and not just a one-time occurrence. I’m asking NHTSA to look into this problem and determine if there’s a defect with the suspension system on the 2018 Audi Q7 that could require a recall or further action.Read more

Driving on the highway with no obstacles or vehicles in proximity, the sunroof spontaneously shattered. If we had the sunroof visor (slide cover) open to let in light, we would have been rained down on by thousands of glass shards while driving at highway speeds. Luckily for us, the cover acted as
... a barrier from the glass. This part of the sunroof is over both driver and passenger seats. The vehicle was driven to the dealership which was very close to the occurrence location and the dealership would not inspect vehicle but did do a work order stating that they would not cover exploding glass. Dealer stated that we needed to contact our insurance company but I have held off due to feeling like it would be a fraudulent claim of damage since it was not caused by an object striking our vehicle. We have documented 24 calls to case manager with Kia and no action or returned calls to date. (04/07/2026). On a call with the Kia 800 number, the customer representative acknowledged he had heard of numerous problems with the sunroofs exploding for no apparent reason. The vehicle had been parked inside our garage and not moved or driven since the incident waiting for someone to investigate or inspect our vehicle.Read more

I was in my 2026 Honda Passport with ~450 miles driven at time of incident, 1445EST on 14 October 2025. I was driving ~58MPH down a road in Columbia County, GA. I was on a straightaway with no bends/turns. There were no obstructions on the road, no oncoming traffic, and no vehicle in visible sight i

PowerTrain Malfunction Failed, notification on my vehicle appeared on 4/28/23, although I had been notifying dealer for 3 months prior the safety issue I was experiencing, and nearly got killed on a major interstate, on 4/26/23 my truck stalled as foot pedal would not work. Major safety of semi-truc
... ks and other vehicles on main I30 Interstate were trying to avoid hitting me due to my vehicle abruptly downshifts from 10- to 1st gear. Foot pedal inoperable during that time. Yes, the dealer and Ford on 4/28/23 provided me a rental vehicle after my near collision experience until they figure out what to do, replace transmission or rebuild, unresolved. No the vehicle had no warnings, but did have symptons, which I took to dealer and they ran a diagnostic, and found nothing, they said there are TSBs out there with the downshifting issues, and stalling, jerking of transmission. But they said just wait it out initially, and I had to call Ford Corporate relations and raise the roof, after I nearly got killed by semi trucks from being stuck in a major interstate highway. December 2022 when it began, the dealer kept doing a reset, which seemed to make it worse, then when I told them how unsafe it was they ignored me, until April 26th when I left a voice mail after nearly being killed. I demanded service as I have a warranty and they ignored the symptoms for so long. Multiple people could have been killed on the interstate when my truck stalled, I had to try and coast to the side of interstate as the truck foot pedal did not work after downshifting from 8 to 1.Read more

PIRELLI Scorpion Zero AllSeason Elect 255/40 R20. Rear passenger tire developed a bulge in the sidewall due to manufacturer defect that led to a blowout while driving at highway speeds. Tire was less than two months old (as was the vehicle) with just over 2,000 miles on it. Never had any curb
... rash, never caught a corner of a pothole, or any other damage. In doing some research perusing Volvo-related forums such as SwedeSpeed, this specific problem seems to be a recurring issue with Pirelli Scorpion tires on C40s and XC40s -- and according to consumers, Volvo has done nothing to rectify this dangerous issue involving the fitting of their vehicles with faulty Pirelli tires despite being notified of the problems and potential risks. My rear passenger rim was damaged and I incurred a $410 expense for the tire replacement as it was not warrantied by either Volvo or Pirelli. When the TPMS went off, I was on a large bridge over the Ohio River, in the left lane of a four lane highway. It was difficult safely navigating through rush hour traffic as cars were swerving to get away from me. I had to drive approximately a mile and a half on a flat tire to the exit where a tire specialty business was located. The problem I noted above was identified and confirmed by a knowledgeable employee at Tire Discounters (Newport, KY) where I brought my vehicle. They could not order the replacement tire due to a national backorder, however they reached out to the closest Volvo dealership (Volvo Cincinnati East) and was able to obtain a tire from them that was delivered the following day. I have a photo of the damaged tire with bulge visible right next to the sidewall blowout.Read more

My car, a 2022 Hyundai Accent Sel, left the right lane I was traveling in on a highway and continued into the left lane, then onto the left shoulder, and finally stopped in a ditch. The airbags did not deploy. I am having the steering column checked and airbags checked as I have read on several webs
... ites online that this is one of the recalls on my car (the steering column may loosen and may cause a crash). The Insurance changed the at-fault clause to not at fault after they verified the information online about the steering column being defective. My car is still in the auto repair shop, 38 days, still awaiting parts because the car was not made in the USA. The damage is $13,197. I do not see this recall reported on this website. There is a recall for parts missing on the seatbelts, I had that fixed on my last oil change. I do not see this listed here as well. I received a recall notice about the seatbelts, but I did not receive a notice about the steering column. The auto body shop will tow my car to Hyundai to check the steering column after my car is fixed as they told me Hyundai would have to fix this. The airbags did not deploy. I have read other people have reported this happening to them. This is not a recall issue reported, but rather a complaint. No warning signals or sounds went off when my car pulled left and brought me to a ditch. I was extremely lucky not to get hurt.Read more

Instead of a simple seat belt warning light staying on when the driver's side belt is not connected, the car uses a complicated system: "The seat belt warning light will illuminate for approximately 6 seconds each time you place the ignition switch to the ON position regardless of belt fastening. H
... owever, if the seat belt is unfasted, a warning chime will sound for approximately 6 seconds. If you continue not to fasten the seat belt and you drive over 6 mph the warning light will stay illuminated. If you continue to drive over 12 mph the seat belt warning chime will sound for approximately 100 seconds and the corresponding warning light will blink, etc." Worse yet, as far as I can tell, the front passenger seat belt when unfastened will not show at all! The passenger side airbag light is on showing the airbag is not engaged about 50% to 75% of the time when that seat is occupied when a lumbar support "seat" is used. Instead of a simple sensor based on weight, Hyundai got "cutesy" and uses some sort of "electro-magnetic" sensor which is awful when my wife is occupying the passenger seat. I would hope you would require Hyundai to do a "fix" and install a simple sensor based on weight which is how, I believe, every car I've owned previously works. The wife has a back problem, hence the use of a lumbar support "seat" is required.Read more
