The truck has multiple leaks when it rains and water is getting inside of the truck through the back window, the sunroof and other places. Water recently go into the radio after a big rain storm and now the radio touch screen is not working. It’s making a crackling sound as if it’s going to start on fire. There was recall for this on other fords but not this specific model but is having the same exact issue. Ford needs to cover this as this is safety hazard. Multiple owners of this specific model have complained and there’s been no resolve.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM Jul 3, 2023
In November, I accidentally put DEF fluid in the fuel. I took the truck to a dealer for repairs. The check engine light had been on before. They drained the fuel system and replaced filters and such. The check engine light was out. There was no mention of any concerns of any further problems. In February I was driving with a trailer in tow and the truck just turned off in the road. I was not even able to get out of the roadway. At the time the engine shut off a warning light came on to tell me there was reduced engine power. I had the truck towed to another dealer near where I was. They ran diagnostics and changed the fuel filters. No mention of the chance of any continuing problems. The truck shut off in the road again on the way home. I took it to a mechanic near my home. He ran more diagnostics and replaced the fuel rail and other components in the fuel system. Again, no mention of any continuing problems. In April, when I was pulling a trailer again it shut off in the highway again. I had it towed to the mechanic near my house again. He did more diagnostics and said the high pressure fuel pump had gone out and had damaged the injectors. I don't yet have the truck back to see if it will actually run now.

I received a letter in November of 2022 that my 2017 F350 had a recall on the drive shaft and would be available in the 1st quarter of 2023. After taking my truck 3 times to certified Ford repair shops for different reasons I asked about the availability of the recall part and they all treated me like it's not available and it's not a big deal. From March 2023 I started experiencing a vibration under the truck, which got worse daily. The truck pulls a gooseneck trailer and dumpster system which if the drive shaft breaks while driving will affect the safety of other motors or anyone in its path, the truck alone is 12000 lbs. I have called Foord Motor Company and spoken to several representatives and supervisors, the last person I spoke to said the part had to break before they replace it. In April I took the truck to a dealer and it has been sitting at the shop waiting for parts, no one knows when it will be ready or giving me a straight answer. The constant vibration from the drive shaft also caused the differential to be damaged. I use my truck for business and the business is down because of it.

I purchased this vehicle brand new off the lot in Feb. 2018. It is a 2017. That should have been my clue. It was a good price. One week after purchase I had to have them add air to my tires as 3 out of 6 were losing air. This continued to happen frequently. They said the valve stems(TPMS) that came on the wheels were oxidizing on the rims causing corrosion and they would replace them. They eventually replaced the outside 4 wheels with new factory rims. The same problem existed. It came to the point that I was afraid to travel with vehicle as I pull horses with a heavy trailer over mountains etc... I was afraid that the air would come out, valve stem would blow out and cause me to wreck and cause injury to myself or a vehicle next to me or my precious cargo. You can see this as I only have 23,000 miles on said vehicle. It is unsafe because of that possibility and also me having to pull over anywhere in my travels to change a tire frequently on a busy highway or mountain with a trailer attached. It still keeps happening. I have to have stems replaced again and again. It's listed on the internet and ford truck forums, as many people are having the same issue. Why doesn't Ford care enough about people to replace these rims/wheels with an after market or safer, more reliable rims/wheels. It appears that the holes in these wheels are oblong and the 2 metals are not the same and this allows the the 2 unlike metals to come in contact causing the corrosion which causes the unreliable issue of air leaking which causes unsafe proper psi in tires which also causes instability. I do not feel safe. This truck has spent many days in the shop for this unsafe issue. I can get copies of all repairs made from dealership if needed. The date listed of incident is the LAST time it was taken in for wheel repairs. I picked it up last night.

Window seal has been coming off around the bottom corners of the windshield. Condensation was bad over the winter months and inside needed to be wiped off before driving causing smudging and smears. I'm worried the window seal will not hold and completely come off while driving.
EXTERIOR LIGHTING Apr 28, 2023
The door ajar light will come on and remain on after starting the engine and while driving. This happens while in park and while driving. Even after opening and reclosing the doors before moving the door adjar warning light will not go away. If i get up to 55 mph it'll finally go off. The cabin lights remain on while the display light is on distracting at night and beeps while driving. The doors will not automatically lock, whe I try to lock them, the unlock even at speeds of 45mph. This has been an on going issue since we bought the truck. How am i supposed to know if the door is secure if I've checked them all before driving but the light will not go away. Everything I get to the dealership the lights are gone and they say they are unable to troubleshoot without the issue happening in the moment. Videos do not help they say. How am I going g to know the door will not fly open on the road?

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Apr 28, 2023

STEERING Apr 15, 2023
While driving on I-25 south of Denver on 4/13/2023, I drove over a pothole in the interstate. Immediately the front end began to violently shake resulting in me applying the brakes and rapidly slowing from 65 mph to ~30mph before the shaking stopped. I was then able to continue on. Today (4/15/2023) while traveling to Boulder CO on US Highway 36, the vehicle again began to violently shake as I drove over a bridge expansion joint. Again I had to rapidly decelerate from ~65 mph to ~30 mph before the shaking stopped. Known as “the death wobble”, this issue is well known in these vehicles and must be addressed by the manufacturer
