open recall for paint peeling on the gas tank, could cause a fire. No Ford dealers in my area can take care of the problem.: I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a Ford dealership’s failure to properly support and address a safety recall on my vehicle. As you know, safety recalls are issued to protect consumers and ensure that potentially dangerous vehicle defects are corrected promptly and at no cost to the vehicle owner. When a dealership fails or refuses to properly handle a recall repair, it raises serious safety and compliance concerns. Despite bringing my vehicle to the dealership regarding the recall, the issue has not been properly addressed. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed and that appropriate action be taken to ensure the recall repair is handled in accordance with federal safety requirements. On August 2, 2024 I was driving my 2022 Ford F-350 7.3L on the interstate when I experienced sudden loss of power, engine was sputtering, obviously not getting fuel in my opinion. Engine eventually quit, and I came to rest on the side of I 20/59. No check engine light or other warning lights were ever illuminated during this episode. After 10-15 minutes of attempting to start, the engine finally restarted and I continued approx. 50 miles to my home with no further issues. On Aug. 14, I took my F-350 to Town and Country Ford in Bessemer, AL. Their Service Dept ran several diagnostics, tested fuel pressure, ethanol content, checked for misfire issues and road tested. No problems were found. Odometer at the time was 26,183. In July 2025 I received a Recall Notice from Ford (NHTSA Recall 25V455) for possible loss of fuel pressure due to fuel pump failure. Today (December 8, 2025) I attempted to contact Ford to get an update on the Recall, was provided no updated information (automated system only, live person was not an option). Also contacted Town and Country Ford Service Dept. for any knowledge they may have, which was none as well. I do not drive the truck every day, primarily due to not wishing to get stranded far from a repair facility (current odometer 38,000). I am filing this complaint to hopefully expedite Ford's response to a problem they have been aware of for over a year if not longer, and certainly since July 2025. The absence of any updates is infuriating for an issue that could become catastrophic.

failures of Ford engine 7 .3L VS 350 and we have 67000 there have been multiple cases of this engine ceasing at this mileage,. The warranty should be 100,000 especially if its a fleet vehicle and used for purposes like fedex.

Received a notice on a "Customer Satisfaction Program 24N03" Instead of issuing a recall for the Hydroboost power steering pressure and jumper lines they instead extended the warranty. People have had their braking and power steering go out while driving and this is simply unsafe and unacceptable. They need to replace their faulty "quick connector" to a hard connector before people are injured. My dealership refuses to do this as it is not a recall. Thank you for your consideration

Hello, when I start my vehicle and leave it in park and idle the transmission makes a mechanical clicking noise. I went under the truck to try to find the source of the noise. When I was underneath I found that when the clicking noise is active the drive line coming out the rear of the transmission is trying to turn. It is rocking back and forth. This is what the clicking noise is. I tried it with the vehicle in Neutral also. Same result. The transmission is sending power to the driveline while in park and neutral. I have a video I can submit but this form won’t let me include a video. If you response to me through email I will attach it there

The car was put into Park. The driver got out to check the position of the vehicle in the parking space. While looking at the passenger side of the RV, the vehicle began to power in reverse. It knocked over and injured the driver and ran into a fence. The passenger reached over to stop the vehicle just before it ran into two other people.

2022 FORD E-350. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARD TO POWER STEERING SAFETY RECALL.

During early morning hours (approx. 2 am) of 10/09/22, while traveling westbound on I-70 through Utah at posted speed (80 mph) I hit a series of road repairs (patches) while in the right-hand lane, with the driver-side (left) front wheel. The front end of the vehicle shook violently, leaving limited control of steering which resulted in the vehicle drifting quickly into the passing (left hand) lane. Fortunately, no one was in the passing lane and control was regained, but only after rapid deceleration through hard braking. The incident was freighting to say the very least, and has resulted in driver distress when traveling over bridges with expansion joints, experiencing changes to road surfaces, and/or anticipating poor road surfaces. Driver anxiety is a direct result of this incident. The vehicle is a new Ford F-350 diesel 4WD with fewer than 2000 total miles at the time the incident took place. An internet search suggests a probable cause associated with a “death wobble”? But on a brand new vehicle? Makes no sense and is very concerning as apparently Ford has been aware of this problem for years? Ford customer service department was contacted (10/10/22) via phone, and a case number [XXX] provided. The Ford dealership through which the vehicle was purchased (Keller Ford in Hanford, CA) was contacted per the recommendation of the Ford customer service representative and the vehicle is scheduled to be left with the Keller Ford service department on 10/12/22. Why isn’t Ford required to notify owners of this phenomenon so that at a minimum operators are aware of the potential problem and are at least prepared for its occurrence? I have owned many Ford vehicles in the 45+ years I have driven, starting with a 1956 Ford F-100 I purchased in 1978. I general, I am happy with Ford products. But in this instance (my first purchase of a new vehicle) I am not. This problem needs to be fixed immediately! The contact downshifted manually to slow the vehicle however while depressing the brake pedal, the vehicle failed to stop in a reasonable time. The contact stopped the vehicle while using the parking brake. The contact pulled over and had the vehicle towed to the dealer to be diagnosed. Meanwhile, I'm getting into towing season and I'll be towing a large trailer across the country repeatedly with trailer brakes that might work or might not.
