Safety Risk: The sudden tracking loss at highway speeds caused an immediate, un-correctable collision with a concrete wall, creating a severe, life-threatening risk to myself and surrounding traffic. Service Confirmation: On June 2, 2026 (at 165,006 miles), an independent service center (Discount Tire) documented an over-torque of the rear right wheel to 140 ft-lbs, introducing severe mechanical stress directly adjacent to the defective recall joint right before the crash. the headlights are so dim that the car is not usable at night. I was told by the Cadillac dealership that this is a known problem with GM/Cadillac. The low beam gets so hot that it turns the reflectivity of the chrome to gray. The fix is to replace both right and left headlight assembly.

The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. The contact stated that while driving at 40 MPH, the message "Service Power Steering - Drive with Care" was displayed. The contact used excessive force to pull over, waited for several minutes, and then restarted the vehicle. The vehicle resumed normal ope
... ration after being restarted; however, the failure returned once the contact reached the driveway at the residence. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V213000 (Steering); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The contact scheduled an appointment and drove the vehicle to the dealer to be repaired. The dealer performed a diagnostic test and retrieved DTC: C0545; indicating a failure within the Steering Wheel Torque Sensor of the electric power steering (EPS) system. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was repaired under the recall prior to the contact owning the vehicle. The contact was then informed that no additional assistance would be provided. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 139,000.Read more

Date: November 12, 2025 Vehicle: 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn 3.0 Dealer: Frank Boucher Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Janesville – 4001 Milton Ave, Janesville, WI 53546 I have been experiencing ongoing electrical and instrument cluster failures with my 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn 3.0 since purchase. The most s
... erious issue is a recurring message: “Warning Light Illumination Cannot Be Shown – Service Required.” This means the cluster cannot guarantee display of safety alerts such as the check engine, airbag, brake, or oil pressure lights. This is a major safety hazard because I may not be warned of a system failure while driving. The truck also shows false “Trailer Light Out” warnings when no trailer is connected, indicating a fault in the Body Control Module (BCM) or CAN bus communication. This may cause incorrect trailer or brake-light behavior, putting other drivers at risk if brake or turn-signal lighting fails to operate properly. It also displays a false “Too Much Oil” warning despite normal levels, and the 3.0 engine has no dipstick, preventing manual verification. The truck has also failed to start multiple times with both the remote fob and manual ignition. On November 12, 2025, it would not start at all; after several attempts, it started with the check engine light briefly on, then it turned off on its own. I have brought the vehicle to the dealer twice. Technicians confirmed Dodge/Stellantis is aware of the defect but said no repair or software update currently exists. The issue has been reproduced and documented. Based on symptoms and dealer feedback, this is likely a BCM or instrument cluster communication fault within the vehicle’s CAN network, affecting ignition, lighting, and safety indicator functions. It directly violates FMVSS 101 (controls and displays) and poses a serious road-safety risk. I request a full NHTSA investigation and recall for this defect, as it affects multiple Ram 1500 models and leaves drivers unaware of critical system failures.Read more

Power steering will turn off randomly while driving. It makes it very hard to turn and is extremely dangerous to drive. It is a safety hazard for me, my family, and anybody on the road nearby. The problem has happened multiple times with no warning. The power steering will work fine for a period of
... time but randomly cut off. Vehicle was brought to a dealer but they are unable to replicate the issue while the steering is working. Upon further research, this seems to be an issue with many trucks of this make and model. The part to replace it (electronic power steering assembly) is on back order or out of stock due to so many of these trucks having this issue. Again this is extremely dangerous and deserves a recall at minimum.Read more

The infotainment system in the car has suffered from screen delamination, which is apparently common with these models. This has left the touchscreen both non-responsive to touch as well as randomly selecting items on the screen, rendering it unusable. This is a safety issue because the only way to
... deactivate Reverse Automatic Braking and the rear parking sensors is through the touchscreen. Being able to do this is essential when connecting a trailer or attempting to reverse with one attached. Subaru is aware of the problem and was subject to class action litigation related to it, ultimately being required to extend the warranty on the units as a result. However, the warranty extension was inadequate and left several thousand units in the field which would eventually require replacement. Note that a similar issue on the 2019 models resulted in an 8-year / 150,000-mile warranty extension on the units, yet prior models were only required to have a 4-year / 80,000-mile extension.Read more

My engine failed. They recalled this engine but mine wasn't recalled. My engine did the same thing as the recalled engine did. Excessive oil consumption. When I first took it to Ford dealership it was under 60K. I have had problems with my truck since Easter have taken it to them a few time

Mine should be covered under recall or warranty up to 60,000 miles. I have nothing but problems since I bought the truck. I started taking the truck to have it looked at since March to other places they couldn't help me so they told me to take it to the dealership. They keep fixing something on the truck but never the part that was broken. They told me it would be ok to drive it and so now I am over the mileage for my warranty. I don't think I should have to pay to replace my engine when it only has 61K miles on it. so they told me to drive it and then it started knocking and the engine failed. The service manger told me it was a failed bearing. certanily no lack of maintenance so why am I stuck paying for this when it wasn't my fault. they found some damge on one of the rod bearings on the bottom. 2021 Ford F-150 V8 that engine had a recall on it. The 2022 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Blue intermittently displays Check Hybrid System Stop Safety in instrument cluster screen, which stops the car from driving in either smart or normal. This happens on the roads and highways. This is very unsafe because at high speed when this happens you could easily
... get rear-ended because the car drops its speed and cannot accelerate any faster than 30 miles per hour and then it degrades to 20 miles per hour until I can find a safe place to park and turn off the car to do the reset to be able to drive again. This happens because the 12-volt lithium battery is not providing an acceptable amount of charge to the hybrid battery. This was also confirmed when I took the battery to get tested and it failed the test. The next part that is unsafe, is replacing the low 12-volt lithium battery, because it is connected to a high voltage 240-volt lithium-ion polymer battery; there a normal person cannot simply replace it. You have to know electronics to make sure you do not get electrocuted. In addition, it takes hours to take out the battery and then it’s hard to find to purchase. I feel Hyundai makes this process difficult as after spending hours to screw it out, you cannot locate the item anywhere. When I spoke to the Hyundai parts person, they could not locate it until I actually brought in the battery. The 12-volt lithium battery was nonrefundable and cost twice as much ($545.92) as I saw online, as low as $282 once I obtain the part number from the Hyundai order, which again is nonrefundable. I feel they make sure this cannot be found to force you to come to them to buy the battery, because all the labels or characters on the battery were not able to locatable. This was proven by me emailing the battery images to the parts person who was trying to find it, but could not until I bring in the actual battery. I was also told it is a special order and that they do not keep them onsite and have to be ordered and wait 7 to 10 days(pdf attach)Read more

After reading of other owners of similar and identical models like mine having frame cracks, I made a point to inspect my trailer’s I beam chassis and I discovered horizontal cracks within the I beam, one on each side, over the suspension area. Every picture I have seen looks just like mine, a rus
... ty L shaped crack adjacent to a crossmember welded on the backside of this area. You can see the shape of this crossmember through the surface of the I beam, indicating the metal is quite thin. It took me only a couple minutes to find, as I knew exactly where to look, based on the numerous stories I’ve read about. Upon further inspection, I also found suspect welds that look burned through the frame, leaving a hole behind. This makes me question the quality of the rest of the trailer’s frame. There is also a crossmember at the front of the trailer with a distinct bend in it at the bottom, where the top remains fairly straight. This, to me, is another indication that the frame is flexing and causing this member to fold as a result. After discovering this, I later learned many other owners have the same issue, and one had a complete A frame failure in that area. Also, I have discovered that all four of my trailer’s leaf springs are flattening out, and they remain this way with all personal items removed from the unit. As it sits now, it is within a handful of pounds of the original purchase weight, and the leafs have not sprung back. We have an appointment scheduled directly with the manufacturer in Indiana to have these issues repaired, among a laundry list of less safety related issues we’ve experienced since ownership. We’ve known of these major issues since August of 2024 and have waited 6 months for our appointment for repairs. We have declined from using this trailer during this time as we don’t have confidence that it can safely be towed. I am to understand, the wait time is due to a large influx of other trailers being brought in for major repair.Read more
