On multiple occasions my vehicle has not recognized the key fob when I have been at the vehicle. I have actually been standing by it trying to open the door and it would not respond. Even if I was holding the key fob in my hand next to the door it would not respond. I would have to manually push

The memor seat and easy exit functions have repeatedly failed to operate as they should causing me to be out of position when driving requiring manual resetting of the position. The heads up display consistently shows the incorrect speed limit. Google Maps and Carplay intermittently become disconnected while I am driving creating a safety hazard when I am using Google Maps guidance. The date below is simply the most recent time these happened. Again, these have happened repeatedly over the period of ownership.Read more

While driving, my vehicle has intermittently lost power without warning, creating a serious safety hazard. The loss of power occurs unexpectedly while the vehicle is in motion and is not associated with any driver input, weather, or road conditions. The issue has occurred on more than one occasion. T
... he first occasion in March 2025. The issue appeared to be temporarily resolved but later recurred, indicating the underlying problem was not corrected. When the loss of power occurs, the vehicle does not respond to acceleration input and behaves as though propulsion is cut off completely. This happens suddenly and without warning while driving. This condition creates a dangerous situation, particularly when driving in traffic or at speed as was the case on 12/4/25 when driving 70 mph on the freeway, the second time the issue occurred for us. The car was immediately brought to the dealership on 12/4/2025 and remains there today. On the first occurrence the dealership attributed it to low battery charge and replaced both batteries. The dealership has performed inspections and diagnostics including:Battery testing and replacement,Wiring and harness inspections,Software updates to vehicle control modules,Extended road testing.Despite these efforts:The issue has not been permanently resolved,The dealership has stated the concern could not be duplicated,The dealership has indicated that fault codes were not always present. A STAR case has been opened, Jeep Customer Care has been contacted regarding this issue, and a field technician has been requested to come to the dealership to assess the vehicle. Despite repeated service visits I am submitting this complaint to report a recurring, intermittent loss-of-power condition that may not consistently trigger diagnostic fault codes but poses a serious safety risk for the car occupants and other drivers on the road surrounding this vehicle.Read more

The vehicle has been taken to the dealership multiple times. A thermostat repair was previously performed, and at a later visit I was told there was an electrical/battery wiring issue that was repaired. Despite these repairs, the problem has continued. The loss of power while driving placed my safety and the safety of others at risk, especially since the failure occurred without warning and resulted in loss of steering assistance. I no longer feel the vehicle is safe to operate, particularly when transporting my children. The issue has been inspected by the dealership on multiple occasions; however, the root cause has not been permanently identified or resolved. While stopped in traffic with the brake pedal depressed and Auto Hold enabled, my 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L has repeatedly jerked and shifted itself into Park without driver input. This typically occurs after being stopped approximately 20+ seconds, often while a turn signal is activated for a left
... or right turn. When the failure occurs, the vehicle disables driver-assist systems, the turn signals behave like emergency flashers, false rear tail light error messages appear, and the check engine light turns on and remains illuminated. The vehicle will not move until the brake pedal is applied and the transmission is manually shifted back into Drive. The issue has occurred multiple times at different locations and dates. A recent repair replaced the vehicle’s primary electronics control module(s), but the same behavior occurred again afterward. Due to the unintended shift into Park and unpredictable system behavior, the vehicle is now parked and not being driven because I do not trust it to operate safely in traffic.Read more

The vehicle has ongoing electrical and battery system problems that cause safety and driver-assistance systems to malfunction or shut off unexpectedly. The vehicle has repeatedly been found dead after short periods of non-use, requiring jump starts and battery replacement. These electrical issues ap
... pear to affect multiple vehicle systems simultaneously. While driving, advanced safety features such as lane departure warning, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and proximity-based warning systems shut off, become unavailable, or behave inconsistently without warning. In some cases, warning messages appear and then clear on their own, while the affected safety systems remain disabled. At other times, the systems deactivate without any clear alert. The manufacturer and dealer have acknowledged battery drain and electrical instability, but instead of permanently repairing the underlying problem, certain features were disabled to reduce battery draw. These include proximity-related features and other driver alerts. Disabling safety and warning systems does not correct the defect and creates an unsafe condition where the driver cannot rely on the vehicle’s advertised safety features to function consistently. Because these systems disable themselves or are intentionally disabled due to unresolved electrical issues, the vehicle cannot be relied upon to provide continuous lane-keeping assistance, collision warnings, or adaptive cruise functions. The failures are unpredictable and occur during normal operation, creating a safety risk to occupants and other drivers.Read more

The vehicle has intermittent, apparent drivetrain differential locking issues, that require an ignition cycle. In addition, the electronic limited slip rear axle appears to lock near 75% in Auto and Snow Mode, which renders the vehicle's operation unsafe. This is especially apparent in 25 to 45 MPH turns, sharp turns, as when merging from one intersection to a perpendicular other roadway. The car wants to go straight on slippery/wet pavement. On the 25th of November, a video was taken, by chance, when the vehicle was merging onto Easton Way from the off ramp of 270 North. The vehicle / car had a near miss of colliding with the concrete barrier of the Easton Way bridge. The vehicle is, in its current state, unsafe! This issue happened 3 times in a matter of 2 months. All 3 happened in 3 different intersections. While turning left in the intersection (oncoming traffic also turning left) the vehicle jerks to a full stop in the middle of the intersection with a "Crash Detected" message flashing on the dashboard
... screen. The vehicle stayed in DRIVE and continued to drive after full stop the first 2 incidents. On the 3rd incident, the vehicle stopped completely, and would not continue to drive. The vehicle had to be put into park (even though it said it was in drive but did not drive) and put into drive again to continue moving. Other vehicles driving behind the Grand Wagoneer were required to slam on brakes to prevent impact of the Grand Wagoneer and had to wait for the Grand Wagoneer to begin driving again. Unable to drive this vehicle due to safety issues. The vehicle is currently in the shop under investigation.Read more

I recently purchased the vehicle in May 2025. It was a dealer car from original purchase. One month after purchasing [June 2025] the vehicle the car would not start. I called in roadside assistance to jump start the car. I took the car to a Jeep dealership for servicing. They recommended replacing b
... oth batteries. They mentioned one of the batteries were not an original. This must mean the dealer who owned and sold me the vehicle was aware of the battery issue. In late July, little over one month the vehicle would not start. I call for roadside assistance again. I dropped vehicle with dealership. I called two days later, and they could not discover the problem. They suggested I leave the vehicle for up to three weeks. This would give them sufficient time to attempt to discover the cause of the battery drainage. This is the first time I am experiencing any short coming from purchasing a vehicle since I started purchasing cars. I am hoping a resolution has been discovered for the battery drainage issue for the 2024 Grand Wagoneer. n early January 2025, we purchased 2024 Jeep Wagoneer L that began displaying check engine warnings and experiencing significant performance issues within the first week. The vehicle was brought into the dealership (Golling Jeep in Bloomfield Hills, MI) on multiple occasions—first on January 22nd
... and again on February 7, 2025—for drivetrain-related concerns, including rough idling, and warning lights. The vehicle was returned after temporary fixes, but the issues quickly recurred. On February 21, 2025, the vehicle was returned to the dealership and has remained there ever since. Despite repeated diagnostic and repair attempts over the last five months, the dealership has been unable to resolve the issue. As of July 2, 2025, their latest communication indicates that a complete engine replacement may be required. The symptoms included drivability issues and engine malfunction indicator lights. The vehicle’s reliability deteriorated to the point where we felt unsafe using it for family transportation, especially on highways or long trips. The issue has been inspected and repeatedly confirmed by certified dealership technicians. The vehicle is available for inspection. There were no reported accidents or injuries, but the repeated and unresolved engine issues present a clear risk to occupant safety and undermine vehicle performance. This ongoing situation has rendered the vehicle inoperable for over 150 days while under warranty, with no final resolution provided.Read more

While driving my kids to school on the freeway I received an alert telling me that my engine was overheating! I was barely given any warning of the rising temperature to allow myself to pull over safely. It never informed me it was rising, only when it was redlined near the max engine temp to which
... I had to immediately find a place to pull over. I didn't have enough time to get to the next exit 1 mile away, and had to pull over in an unsafe area and turn the car off until the engine cooled down while cars whizzed by us. Once cooled down enough, I was able to drive 1 mile to the next freeway exit but had to immediately pull over again into a center median as it was again overheating very quickly. My local dealership came to get the car and took my kids to school and me home while they inspected it and found a failing thermostat and water pump. I have only had the vehicle for 9 months and it only has 15,800 miles! This should not happen, at all, on a $135,000 vehicle. I also happened to notice a failing battery (no audio warning of this) on the display while scrolling through the menu looking for the engine temperature! So a brand new car has a failing battery, thermostat and heat pump..... unbelievable.Read more
