Defect Description
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2025 Transit vehicles. The brake pedal may disconnect from the brake booster pushrod, causing a loss of brake function. Consequence
A loss of brake function increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the remedy has been completed. Dealers will inspect and repair the brake booster assembly as necessary, free of charge. Consequence
An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy
Rollx will work with Q'Straint to inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 5, 2026. Owners may contact Rollx's customer service at 1-800-956-6668.

Defect Description
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2025 Transit, F-150, and Explorer vehicles. The connecting rod and rod bearing components may have manufacturing defects that can lead to engine damage and engine failure.
Consequence
A damaged engine can result in engine failure and a stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect the connecting rods and replace the engine long block assembly as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 15, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S55.

A frozen or missing rearview camera image can reduce the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

The accessory protocol interface module (APIM) software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air update, free of charge.
