This has happened to me 3 times now. When I start the truck, a loud pop can be heard and then an extremely loud static noise starts throughout the entire truck. All speakers produce loud static and popping sounds. I took this to the dealer and while happening and the dealer had “no idea” what to
... do. The only remedy I’ve been given is to disconnect the battery for 5 minutes and reconnect. This makes the awful sound stop. This happened while drive and almost caused me to crash twice. There is talks of this on forums happening to other truck owners with the BO Unleashed sound system. Ford, NHTSA please create a TSB and figure this issue out. It affects my hearing every time the static and popping starts. Forums have said the Digital Sound Processor is a part of the problem when streaming with Apple car play or android auto. I spent $70K on this truck and am tired of this happening. please please get this issue fixed or else it will cause a serious crash. This has occurred three times from years April 2022-December 2023!!!!Read more

The steering in my Integra becomes sticky after driving for 15/20 minutes, and then continues to get progressively worse the longer the drive is. There is a distinct banging noice when attempting to move the steering wheel from its current position when it is stuck. The degree of stick is strong eno
... ugh that if the wheel is in its stuck state on a slight curve in the road, I can take my hands off the wheel and it will remain in the same position as the car continues around the bend. This issue has severely diminished the driving enjoyment factor of this vehicle, and has compromised the safely as well. When the steering wheel doesn’t respond how you are expecting it to, that’s definitely an opportunity for an accident to happen. My dealership has confirmed the issue, but they were unable to provide a solution at this time. To my knowledge, the vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, and there were no warning lights associated with this issue. The issue arose after about 4 months of ownershipRead more

My steering wheel sticks when the engine has been warmed up, requiring extra force to begin turning it. This can make small adjustments on the road difficult, and means I have to overcorrect all the time and have trouble staying in my lane. It happens after driving ~20 minutes on warm days (above 70
... degrees). The vehicle has been inspected by an independent mechanic, and I was told the only solution is replacing the entire steering rack. No warning lights have come on. This is NOT an isolated incident-- it happens every time the vehicle is driven for 20+ minutes on a warm day, and gets worse the longer it's driven.Read more

Intermittent shift to park message when in park. Unable to turn off vehicle.
Incident date: Aug 23, 2022
Shift car issues. The car would not shut off because it doesn’t recognize that the gear is in parking.
Incident date: Aug 3, 2022
Intermittently, the car would not turn off, starting in about July, 2022. After shifting the car into park and pressing the On/Off switch, the car displayed a message like "Action required. Shift to park". It was impossible to know if the car really was not in park, and would roll into someone, and
... it was certainly unsafe to walk away and leave the car "on". A Chevy forum showed that this problem is COMMON and pointed me to GM TSB 19-NA-206 (https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10171895-9999.pdf). The TSB exactly describes the symptom I observed and lists one of the exact parts that the Huston Chevrolet service department replaced on 8/3/2022 - 84733196 N-Harness. The dealer, Chevrolet customer service, and GM customer service all told me that this repair was not covered under warranty, though the TSB says this on page 4: "Specific to the Volt model, repairs are covered under the Voltec (Electric and Hybrid Vehicle) Warranty." GM said that I would have received a letter if the TSB applies to my specific car. I paid Huston Chevrolet $446.79 to repair this problem, and believe the manufacturer should 1) reimburse me for the cost and 2) notify other owners about this common and dangerous manufacturing defect.Read more
