I purchased the truck in 2021 from a chevy dealer with 32k miles on it, truck looked great and performed great, at 42k miles it started to be sluggish and it would vibrate between 30-40 and 60-70 as i feathered the gas pedal to maintain speed, but if i gave it more gas or take my foot off the pedal
... it would stop vibrating, I've taken it to 2 chevy dealers, the first one said it drives within GM spec's. the 2nd one looked more promising but my warranty ran out at 75k and i was at that mileage. So today at 93k on it, it still vibrates and sluggish from a start. I looked online and many people have similar problems. ALSO: The paint around my front wheels is peeling off down to the primer, I've had many vehicles and never had this happen to me, It's just flaking off, When i had the truck at the chevy dealer for maintenance and told him about it, He said GM will not fix it and they know about the issue. Now these trucks are not cheap, It seems like once they sell the vehicle GM washes their hands of it, I guess that's why they only give you 36,000 mile warranty because they don't even trust their product to last.Read more

On 6/27/22 my 2020 gmc sierra 1500 at4 6.2L had lifter failure. The dealer fixed that problem and on 7/1/22 again has lifter failure. The dealer fixed that problem again. On 7/13/22 a third time engine had lifter failure again. I requested they need a different engine to be installed and GM agreed
... andthey install an L87 2022 engine. This engine seemed weak and not right since it was installed. On 10/13/222i took the vehicle in to the dealer with a complaint of ticking noise from engine area and complaint of shifting hard. The fix the shifting but nothing was wrong with engine according to the dealer. On 3/15/24 the noise are worse and I can smell fuel and noticed white milky residue on the oil cap plus a growling nose coming from engine. Coolant keeps going low and white smoke out the exhaust. The dealer does diagnosis and again nothing is wrong. Now starts the oil consumption testing and me letting the dealer know that I can smell oil and exhaust but they can't. On 8/29/2024 I take truck in for another diagnosis for rattle sounds I'm hearing under the hood from the engine especially when you accelerate. I pay $149.49 for the dealer to find the noise and they tell me they can't find anything, but everyone who has rode in the truck can. On 1/27/2025 I take the vehicle in again and the dealer does the valve cover leaking and replaces that is covered. On 2/3/2025 again vehicle back to dealer cause I can smell antifreeze and burning oil smell. The only thing they found was the muffler had a Lil leak so they wanted me to get it welded which i did and so can smell the oil. On 6/16/2025 I take the vehicle in for oil change and leave to go home then go to work about 95 miles or more and noticed after I parked and was working before I was going to head home there was a huge puddle of oil under the vehicle. I took pics. Found after inspecting my vehicle the oil cap was not in filer tube but instead sitting up on air shelf above radiator. Oil filter was about 3 turns loose.Read more

The front lower lateral link (rearward lower control arm) fastener/bolt completely backed out and fell off the vehicle while in motion, causing the lateral link to separate entirely from the subframe. This is the exact mechanical failure described in Tesla Recall Campaign 23V-235 (Service Bulletin S
... B-23-31-001), however, my specific VIN was not included in that recall. The vehicle and components are currently at an independent EV repair facility and are available for inspection upon request. Photographic evidence of the missing bolt and separated control arm has been retained. The separation of the lower lateral link caused an immediate and violent collapse of the front passenger-side suspension geometry. The affected wheel was no longer anchored to the vehicle frame, causing it to fold backward and grind heavily against the wheel well. To keep the vehicle moving straight, the steering wheel had to be turned to an extreme 45-degree angle. This resulted in a near-total loss of steering control. Had this fastener failed while traveling at highway speeds instead of low speeds, it would have resulted in an uncontrollable, catastrophic collision. Yes. The problem was physically confirmed and documented by an independent, EV-certified repair facility (EVFixMe/Shocker Motors in Costa Mesa, CA) once the vehicle was placed on a lift. The vehicle was physically inspected by an independent service center. The manufacturer (Tesla) was contacted via the Tesla App; however, they refused to perform a physical diagnosis without pre-authorization of a $2,600+ comprehensive suspension replacement estimate and stated the vehicle was out of warranty with no open recalls. There were no dashboard warning lamps, digital alerts, or error messages from the vehicle's computer system prior to the failure. The failure presented suddenly as a loud, painful metal-on-metal grinding noise accompanied by immediate, severe steering misalignment. Currently waiting on invoice from indy shop.Read more

The oil filter housing is known to leak, crack or break in standard weather conditions. This can be exacerbated by extreme climate or by simply storing the vehicle outside of a climate controlled area. The hazards posed start with the slow but continuous leak of engine oil from the housing down the
... transmission and driveline to the ground. This is an environmental hazard to ground water and plant life. The oil can also contaminate roadways leading to slick spots in the road coupled with icy conditions this could cause for large scale vehicular incidents. Lastly if this issue goes unchecked and the oil leaks out of the engine entirely or to a low enough level it could cause the engine to seize in some shape or fashion. This would cause the aforementioned hazards to occur all at once culminating a catastrophic hazard event.Read more

I am writing to report an additional safety‑related incident involving my 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe. This vehicle previously experienced propulsion issues that I reported under NHTSA Case Number 11692887. On the morning of February 4, 2026, while driving to work on a busy interstate (approxi
... mately 12 miles from home), the vehicle again began exhibiting propulsion instability. The vehicle experienced repeated surging and thrusting movements that became progressively more severe during the drive. During these events, the check‑engine light intermittently illuminated and then turned off. This incident occurred exactly seven days after my vehicle was evaluated by Sam Leman Dodge on January 27, 2026, for three open safety recalls. At that visit, I was provided paperwork indicating that the issues had been addressed. However, as of today, the official Jeep/Mopar recall website still shows multiple serious and active safety recalls for my VIN, including recalls involving fire risk and sudden loss of motive power. After the February 4 incident, I contacted the dealership, and their service department advised me not to drive the vehicle and recommended that it be towed to the dealership for evaluation. I followed this guidance due to the severity of the propulsion behavior and the safety concerns involved. Given the recurrence of propulsion instability, the worsening severity of the surging behavior, the dealer’s recommendation not to drive the vehicle, and the presence of multiple unresolved safety recalls, I am requesting NHTSA’s assistance in ensuring that the manufacturer addresses these issues and restores the vehicle to a safe operating condition. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Recognize that this is the second time I have emailed the NHTSA regarding propulsion issues with this vehicle (Earlier Case Number 11692887). Please help me build a relationship with Jeep to ensure this vehicle is restored to a safe condition.Read more

I am a three-time Acura owner currently leasing a 2025 Acura MDX through Honda/Acura. On or about 12/02/2025, at approximately 16,297 miles, a front parking sensor fell out of the front bumper while I was driving. I am concerned that this reduces the reliability of the front parking/safety system a
... nd could put safety at risk if a driver relies on the sensors to detect obstacles at low speeds (parking, maneuvering, etc.) while the hardware is no longer properly secured. There was no crash or injury in this incident, but the failure affected a safety-related system on a low-mileage vehicle. Before I noticed the sensor was missing, the front alert on the dashboard began going off repeatedly while I was driving, even though there was nothing in front of the vehicle. That was the first indication that something was wrong with the system. Only after I parked and inspected the front of the vehicle did I see that the front parking sensor had come out of the bumper, which confirmed the source of the problem. The problem was inspected and confirmed by an authorized Acura dealer, who diagnosed broken internal mounting clips on the front sensor. The dealer and manufacturer attributed the failure to “outside influence” (implying that I must have hit something), but no impact damage or other physical evidence was found on the front of the vehicle. The front remains normal and pristine with no dents, cracks, gouges, chips, or distortion of the bumper, paint, grille, or sensor area. I am concerned that a likely part or installation failure on a low-mileage vehicle is being dismissed as “outside influence” based purely on assumption rather than documented physical evidence. In effect, an unproven assumption is being treated as fact, which could allow similar front sensor or mounting failures on other vehicles to be written off as external damage instead of being investigated as a potential durability or design issue with the front sensor mounting.Read more

The ABS module has failed. As such, the anti-lock brakes, nor the electronic brakes for braking a trailer do not work. This is a safety hazard as when towing you might not be able to stop in time to avoid an accident. I tried to get this fixed at a RAM dealership, but was informed this item has b

So, I escalated at RAM and the escalation representative replied stating that they are waiting for production approval. They have been waiting on production approval for over 1.5 years for this safety issue. What is going to take, someone getting seriously injured or killed to get RAM to provide this safety item? As I mentioned, RAM is aware of this issue, but are not doing what it takes to address. It would be great if you can put pressure on RAM to make this safety item a priority. Also, it would be great if it came in form of a recall, but being able to get this part so that I can safely operate my vehicle is my main priority. Anything that you can do in addressing this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank youRead more

I am writing to formally report a serious issue with my 2022 Chevy Silverado which I purchased brand new. Within just a few months of ownership, during a routine oil change, I was informed by the service technician that there was an oil leak. I took the truck to the dealership, and they claimed the
... issue was resolved by replacing the oil pan. However, the oil consumption continued, without knowing and still, no warning lights ever appeared. As the engine is the heart of any vehicle, this ongoing issue posed a serious safety risk, especially while driving on the highway. Eventually, after the warranty expired, the engine issue worsened. I contacted GM and the dealership again, but I was told that GM could only offer minimal assistance toward a new engine — despite the fact that this engine exhibits the same oil consumption problems reported in other V8 engines currently involved in lawsuits and recalls. I believe this is a manufacturer defect that should have been properly addressed under warranty. The failure of the engine so early in the vehicle’s life, with a known issue that matches recalled engines, is unacceptable. I am seeking a fair resolution, including full coverage of the engine replacement.Read more

I am writing to report a critical and recurring safety defect concerning the Multi Media Interface (MMI) system in my Audi S5. The MMI system consistently restarts itself approximately every 90 seconds, regardless of whether the vehicle is stationary (parking) or in motion (driving). This issue pre
... sents a significant safety hazard because critical sensor information and vehicle status displays, which are shown on the infotainment screen, become unavailable during each restart cycle. During the 5-10 second period of the system restarting, the screen goes blank, and all related functions and visual aids, including parking sensor readouts, camera views (if active), and other driver assistance information, are completely inaccessible. The intermittent loss of these visual aids creates a hazardous situation, especially when maneuvering at low speeds, parking, or when relying on sensor alerts for proximity to other vehicles or obstacles. Even during normal driving, the sudden loss of the display is a distraction and removes vital information that a driver might rely on. This is particularly concerning as it affects features directly related to situational awareness and collision avoidance. The problem is persistent and has been occurring since July 2025. I have attemptedrestarting the car, checking for software updates. The issue remains unresolved and consistently compromises my ability to safely operate the vehicle.Read more

Vehicle Information: 2024 Tesla Model 3 Description of the Problem: We purchased a brand-new 2024 Tesla Model 3 just seven days ago, and we’ve already encountered a serious safety issue: the turn signal frequently fails to function. This problem compromises our ability to signal lane changes or t
... urns, putting our safety and the safety of others at risk, particularly in high-traffic or highway conditions. Inspection and Reproduction: We took the car to Tesla Service, and the service advisor confirmed that this is a known issue with the vehicle. The malfunction has been reproduced and verified by Tesla Service. Safety Risks: The inability to use the turn signal effectively creates a significant safety hazard, as other drivers cannot anticipate our intended movements. This increases the likelihood of accidents, especially during lane changes or turns. Inspection by Authorities: The vehicle has been inspected by Tesla Service, but no inspection has been conducted by any other authorities, such as insurance representatives or law enforcement. Warning Signs: There were no prior warning lights or error messages. The issue became apparent when the turn signal intermittently failed to activate. Request for Action: We are requesting an immediate resolution to this issue, including a repair or replacement of the faulty system, as well as updates on Tesla’s efforts to address this known defect. If no fix is currently available, we request clear communication regarding the timeline for a resolution and any interim safety measures that can mitigate this risk.Read more

They did what I felt like was a quick fix because the owner told the mechanic what he needed to do but the mechanic did a ride along with me, vocally stated what he wanted to do and reassured me he would do his best but the owner took precedence. Something was done to my air compressor(s) and it lasted a little over a week then went back to violently shaking every time I hit a bump or pot hole as well as the car taking a while to come to a complete stop. That happened from the beginning and I took it to the Nissan dealership twice and was told that’s normal. I have to stop far off from a stop sign or light to stop in time or just fly through. All of the recalls that the 2010 Armada has is all of the same issues I’m having which are very dangerous and life threatening. My suspension, rack and pinion, and brakes are all severely affected. This is the 4th time since purchasing the vehicle in May 2023 that this has happened. I've had it back to the dealer 3x to troubleshoot but they can find nothing, they've told me that it is a known issue at Ford but they have not received a fix yet. Ford owner forums provided guidance to "let it sit and then try again 10 minutes later". This didn't work in my event and again, my personal safety was at risk.Read more

... on pan. There were no indicator lights on the dash from this issue. Requested goodwill warranty, gm replied they would cover 20% or $7k so I am stuck to pay $5k for a known issue. The replacement transmission is not new that they are offering, it is "certified refurbished" where they use the old casing with new internals. They are providing a 3yr/100k miles warranty on the new transmission. Deciding factors from GM were age, miles, service at dealership. Incredibly unsatisfied that GM is standing behind their vehicles not lasting 60k miles.Read more
