The passenger side seat belt locks up at unusual times. Passenger can’t reach anything because they are locked in their seat. The seatbelt has locked up numerous times however the mechanic can’t repeat the problem in the shop. Yes is has been reported and investigated by TASCA Ford, 1300 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, RI. No indications before the seatbelt locks up.

The vehicle has gone into a limp mode unexpectedly while driving on the highway at 60+ mph. The first issue was on May 13, 2026. The car immediately stopped driving and went into limp mode and cannot go over 30 mph. It was taken to a service dealer. This make and model Honda with a 2.4L engine have several known defects which brings potential harm and high operational and repair costs to its owners. Honda is well aware of the engine problems but refuses to issue recalls to correct the problem. ... n this engine. Either problem can cause the engine to suddenly sieze/fail which could lead to serious injury or loss of life. I purchased a used 2014 Honda CR-V from a Honda dealer in 2022 with about 50,000 mi. After a short time owning the vehicle I realized that the engine was burning excessive oil (about 2 quarts every 2 to 3 weeks). When I discussed this issue with my local Honda dealer, they told me that according to a Honda Service Bulliten, my car was not losing oil at a rate that warranted repair. I've owned around 10 Hondas in my life and I've never had a car burn oil where I had to add ANY oil between oil changes. So, burning multiple quarts of oil a month is EXTREMELY UNUSUAL and should have been repaired by Honda! The 2nd problem, defective VTC Actuators, actually may be related to the 1st problem due to a constant fluctuation of the oil level, and lack of oil. The defective VTC Actuators lead to a stretched/worn Timing Chain which can cause engine failure at any time and any place. After experiencing a loud rattling coming from my engine on start-up for some time, I just had several dashboard lights come on. Running a scan on the vehicle it showed a P0341 code. I took my car to my local Honda Dealer where they informed my that I had to replace the stretched Timing Chain and failed/defective VTC Actuator at a cost of over $2600. I believe that fraud was committed by Honda from the day I purchased the vehicle as Honda was aware of both significant engine problems and did not inform us a unexpecting Buyers.Read more

Someone was on a handheld scooter on the sidewalk and when reaching the corner, turned right abruptly still remaining on the sidewalk. My car slammed on the brakes believing this person was entering the street or was already in the street? The vehicle behind me swerved out of the way because it was going to hit me. All 4 of the tires have developed spider cracking in the valley of the first set of lugs from the outside sidewalls. It is cracked consistently all around the tire(only in this area, no other cracks ex

I have been to both the selling dealer and 2 separate Firestone Corporate Sponsored Tire stores for inspections. Everyone seems to agree that this should not happen, but no one wants to take responsibility for the warranty to correct this concern. The selling dealer indicates that they are not responsible for the tire warranty and the Firestone Stores and a district represent have communicated to me that, even though that I purchased the truck brand new, I am not the original purchaser of the tires and therefore they are not covered under warranty. Obviously, a finger pointing exercise and choice by each manufacture to place my safety at risk. I have no choice except to purchase new tires so that I can continue to operate my truck safely. The driver's seat wiring harness on my daughter's 2007 Acura MDX has failed under normal operating conditions. The physical adjustment and movement of the driver's seat causes the factory wiring harness to over-tension and fracture internally. This has resulted in an intermittent, escalating failure of the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS), throwing diagnostic trouble code DTC 71-11 ("open circu

Vehicle has only 48,037 miles. Diagnosed with bad cylinders 1 and 2 . Coolant also contaminated cylinders. I took vehicle to Autonation Honda Corpus Christi twice before the diagnosis. Vehicle was running rough. When first turn on engine especially when it is cold, there's a lot of engine shakes. Same as in when on idle. After a week, all engine lights came on while driving at 30 mph. Stopped the vehicle and get towed to the dealership. Diagnostics: blown head gasket, bad cylinders and needed new engine. Did a research and these were the Accord problems that were never addressed by Honda. Problems also included Turbos and Fuel injectors.Read more

Our seatbelts and airbags required replacement as Tesla stated safety equipment on a Tesla is only guaranteed until 60,000 miles and after that they often need repairs. It was quite expensive. Our seatbelts and airbags required replacement as Tesla stated safety equipment on a Tesla is only guaranteed until 60,000 miles and after that they often need repairs. It was quite expensive. My 2019 Sorento 3.3L suffered high oil consumption followed by a severe oil leak at the back of the head/engine block threads. There is an odor of coolant which smells sweet with no visible coolant leak meaning there is likely coolant seeping into the engine mixing with the oil. I believe this an ongoing engine failure caused from Kia not correcting the issues over many years.

The Throttle response is very slow when slowing down and then trying to take back off you are half throttle or more before anything happens, i have had to pull off the road to keep other vehicles from hitting me because the vehicle would not go. There has been a few times on the interstate that the throttle would not accept throttle at all and i would have to keep mashing it to finally get it to r

My wife was driving and braked on a hill, not in park. The emergency brake auto-engaged while she was in park, then the emergency brake disengaged automatically. The care starts rolling down the hill, the regular brakes fail and do not work after pumping them multiple times. The emergency brake won't engage either. She tries reversing and that won't work.
