Sliding doors sometimes do not close all the way and then reopen automatically. You cannot press the sliding doors to close and walk away. You have to stay to make sure they close because often times it will kick back and reopen. You have to manually help push the sliding door to close. After a manual reset of the Check Engine Light (CEL), the vehicle stalled again during a turn. Diagnostic codes P228C (Fuel Pressure Regulator 1 Exceeded Control Limits) and P0089 (Fuel Pressure Regulator 1 Performance) were present. First Attempted Repair: The dealership performed a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB)/recall procedure to calibrate the fuel pump and pressure sensors. Recurrence: Immediately upon retrieval, the vehicle stalled again in a "no parking" zone at a major airport after 45 minutes of operation. The vehicle would not restart or maintain idle, necessitating a second tow. Final Repair: The dealership replaced the fuel pump assembly. Additional Safety Concerns: Approximately 4,000 miles prior to the fuel pump failure, the vehicle experienced multiple "Reduced Engine Power" events and "Service ESC" flashes while traveling at highway speeds (approx. 70 mph) in rainy conditions. The dealership replaced all fuel injectors and spark plugs at that time. Manufacturer Response: Despite the "Engine" designation of the diagnostic codes, GM initially claimed the fuel pump was not covered under the powertrain warranty. They replaced the emergency breaking module and it still does it however, now my vehicle no matter what I do every time I put the vehicle even into park, my emergency brake kicks in. I’ve also looked up online and seeing that I’m not the only one that has experienced this that several other jeep owners have also experienced this typically found from the years of 2014 to 2020 Jeep Cherokee I own a 2020 Jeep Cherokee Limited my vehicle had 30,000 or so miles on it when I purchased this car this car has been a death trap ever since. From my own diagnostics, as a licensed Master Motorcycle Mechanic, in the State of [XXX] , I believe the rear cylinder cam chain guide shroud shoulder bolt backed out of the threading in the engine casing, causing the shroud to fall into the primary gears, which caused a loss of cam chain tension and the engine jumped time. Luckily it was a backroad with no other vehicles traveling it at the time or else I could have been struck by another vehicle, causing serious injury to myself and other motorists, not to mention the property damages. When the incident occurred the Check Engine light came on and, upon checking the on board diagnostics display, the motorcycle displayed numerous fault codes, P001800C, P001900C, P034600C, P039100C, P110000C. The motorcycle was sent to Motown Harley for diagnostics and repairs under warranty. They diagnosed the issue as a failed rear cylinder cam chain tensioner, which allowed the engine to jump time and which caused internal damage to the pistons, valves and flywheel. A corporate supervisor called me back but failed to provide a resolution, an emergency parts allocation, or alternative safe transportation.The manufacturer is currently unable to supply critical safety remedy parts for an active, catastrophic brake failure, and they have refused to provide a temporary loaner or rental vehicle to mitigate the hazard. Toyota knows these frames have problems with rust and corrosion and have done nothing, I am far from being the only one with this complaint or problem. It is up for inspection anytime. I have taken it to get work done at shops and been turned away because of the amount of rust on all bolts, lines,

The metal is starting to split on the main frame by the tire, it is rotting from inside. Rust has always been there but last couple years has gotten really bad. Despite dealership confirmation and escalation to a District Manager, General Motors declined to provide meaningful repair assistance and only offered approximately $350 toward spot repair, which does not address the widespread failure. This appears to be a paint adhesion/clear coat defect affecting the vehicle’s exterior finish. ... nd financial hardship throughout ownership. Since purchasing the vehicle, I have completed more than 20 oil consumption tests requiring repeated 1,000-mile dealership visits. The issues became so severe that both the engine and transmission ultimately had to be replaced. The unresolved recall has now created an additional major safety concern for my family. Hyundai indicated a remedy was expected by the end of March, but as of now there is still no repair available. This has significantly limited the safe use of my vehicle because the third-row seating cannot safely be used for passengers due to the risk associated with the defective airbag system. This delay is causing financial hardship as well. I intended to use this vehicle through Turo for supplemental income but cannot do so because of the active safety recall. I also have upcoming family travel requiring use of the third row and may now be forced to rent another SUV at my own expense. I currently owe approximately $30,000 on this vehicle and am facing substantial negative equity due to the vehicle’s extensive repair history and unresolved recall status. I am concerned about both passenger safety and Hyundai’s prolonged delay in providing a remedy for a serious safety issue. ... nd financial hardship throughout ownership. Since purchasing the vehicle, I have completed more than 20 oil consumption tests requiring repeated 1,000-mile dealership visits. The issues became so severe that both the engine and transmission ultimately had to be replaced. The unresolved recall has now created an additional major safety concern for my family. Hyundai indicated a remedy was expected by the end of March, but as of now there is still no repair available. This has significantly limited the safe use of my vehicle because the third-row seating cannot safely be used for passengers due to the risk associated with the defective airbag system. This delay is causing financial hardship as well. I intended to use this vehicle through Turo for supplemental income but cannot do so because of the active safety recall. I also have upcoming family travel requiring use of the third row and may now be forced to rent another SUV at my own expense. I currently owe approximately $30,000 on this vehicle and am facing substantial negative equity due to the vehicle’s extensive repair history and unresolved recall status. I am concerned about both passenger safety and Hyundai’s prolonged delay in providing a remedy for a serious safety issue. While attempting to cross 3 lanes of oncoming traffic from a standstill the vehicle lost all power and barely moved 2 feet, irrespective my efforts of stabbing at the throttle, and almost got us killed. Fortunately I slammed on the brakes and barely missed being hit head on. No warning lamps or codes popped up. This is now the 3rd such incident in the 2 months we have owned this vehicle.

At the next available exit, I was able to exit from the highway and go to a gas station, where upon pulling next to a pump the brake pedal became extremely hard and nonresponsive, resulting

While driving my 2023 Acura MDX at approximately 40 mph in rainy conditions, the vehicle experienced a sudden catastrophic failure without any prior warning lights or dashboard messages. The dealership has since informed me that the front transfer case / transfer box experienced a catastrophic internal failure. Root cause and failure sequence are still being diagnosed by the dealer. The sudden nature of the failure, lack of warning indicators, and apparent driveline lockup behavior created a significant safety hazard and increased risk of crash, particularly given the wet road conditions and speed at the time of the incident. Get the car from getting the mounts replaced , & when I went to leave with the “ repaired “ the car sounded horrible while in Reverse. It was a loud sound more than just a vibration. I immediately went i

I’m not sure the mileage on the vehicle but it’s less than 46k . The mechanic shop in Macon , Ga has had the car two weeks. They replaced the mount close to the transmission with a OM mount , said the previous one was a defective mount . Now they have no clue what is wrong with the car . This car is so “ new “ to be having these issues. So now I’m waiting to hear what the next steps are on this car . Such a beautiful vehicle truly ! I just don’t know if this mount / transmission is going cause me issues nonstop within the car .Read more
