We arrived for our first trip this year on Thursday April 23, 2026. We did not need heat until Saturday night April 25th 2026. We turned the propane bottle on and then set the thermostat to heat for it to come on. After several attempts the furnace never ignited. We turned the 1st bottle back off. ... amper to turn the gas stove on to bleed the line. Then went back to the heater and set it to come on again. It did not ignite. Went back outside to the second propane compartment and I started to smell gas. Checked the bottle connection and it was tight. Turned the propane back off and unhooked the bottles. This was about 11:00 at night and figured we'd look at it the next day in the daylight. April 26 2026, I had some camping friends and myself look at the propane lines on the driver's side compartment. I turned the propane on to see if we could smell or hear leaks. Immediately out of a very sharp bend in the hose we found a split in the hose. We turned the propane back off and examined the hose a little bit more and found the second split. We then traced the line under the camper, approximately 15 feet of hose, that went into a t/splitter. We were able to look at the hose still having the tag on it, we figured we would just order one and replace it. April 30, 2026 we arrived back at the campground and start to replace the line. My buddy climbs under the camper only to realize it is not the right part. I went out and got a part to fix it temporarily. After installing it we tested and turned furnace on. It ignited but when outside smelled propane again. Look under camper and discovered more leaks/splits in hose. Turned off propane as we knew this was a dangerous situation. Contacted our Dealer who contacted Forest River to make a claim. They have denied the claim as being out of warranty. To me this an issue that should be fixed regardless of warranty.Read more

Two separate compounding defects. The first and most critical - on many occasions the lane keeping system in my SQ7 has unexpectedly and aggressively engaged and attempted to steer the vehicle into barriers, other vehicles and construction workers. This occurs despite positive driver steering input, normal driving (cruise control off), and creates a condition where I must “fight the wheel” to
... keep the vehicle from causing an accident. This problem is consistent and repeatable. Most often this has happened in two scenarios (1) in normal driving where lane markings are faded or ambiguous, and (2) where construction is occurring and the vehicle must be driven in accordance with temporary markings or instructions. As a workaround, the vehicle has a feature to turn the lane keeping system off. Due to a second critical defect, even if you have turned the system off, at random the lane keeping system turns itself back on. As a driver, you never truly know what the car is going to do. Audi recognizes this second defect in its internal Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 90 24 88 2073280 of 1 May 16, 2024 and describes the issue as "Lane departure warning sporadically activates by itself". Instructions from Audi to dealers in this TSB are as follows: No repair is currently available. 1. Do not perform any repairs. Any repairs for this concern may be denied. 2. Instruct the customer that this condition is normal. I have engaged Audi's customer service on these issues. At their request, I have taken my SQ7 to two different area dealerships for evaluation. Both confirm that lane keeping is unpredictable and a frequent area of trouble - despite there being nothing "broken" that they can repair. My vehicle has been out of service since 2/9/2026 - 98 days as of the date of this report. A Signal came on that said pull to safety or something like that and then I lost power steering and brake control and my entire dash in my vehicle went pitch black. I was in the middle lane on route 290 and I was very lucky not to hit any other vehicles, but it was incredibly scary because I had no control of my vehicle and there were
... many cars and trucks on the road around me. I coasted off slowly to the side and I had to sit in 15° temperatures for an hour while I waited for AAA to come and tow my vehicle. They towed it to my home and were not able to get it off the ramp so they had to tow it to the dealership because the battery had died. The vehicle for a couple weeks before was slow to start, which I did not realize at the time was a sign that the battery was being drained. It was brought to the dealer and discovered that the DC DC converter and the BECM was the issue. My vehicle is open for inspection if you need it. The converter and BECM have been replaced after fighting with the dealer and with Landrover. Landrover is aware of the situation because they had to work with the dealer on their systems.Unfortunately, I am out almost $1000 because they made me pay for the replacement of the battery ( and the towing ) . Honestly I am having PTSD every time I drive past the area where I almost crashed. Landrover did not even want to accept responsibility, but the dealer did as we have purchased two vehicles from them that we also maintain meticulously.Read more

Most recently, after charging the vehicle to approximately 85%, warning lights appeared with the message: “STOP SAFELY — VEHICLE WILL SHUT OFF SOON.” The vehicle would not shift into drive, the interior lights began flickering, and the vehicle completely shut down again, leaving me stranded overnight until it could be towed to the dealership the following morning. As an educator and assistant principal, reliable transportation is critical to my responsibilities. These repeated failures have caused missed work, financial hardship, ongoing lease and insurance obligations, rental expenses, and serious safety concerns. At this point, I no longer feel safe operating this vehicle due to the repeated electrical and drivability failures. Despite working extensively with both the dealership and manufacturer, the underlying issues continue to persist. For these reasons, I am respectfully requesting assistance in resolving this matter and being permanently removed from this vehicle.Read more

At this point, it feels like one major issue after another. I expected quality, reliability, and engineering excellence from BMW, but my experience has been the complete opposite. Instead, ownership has been stressful, expensive, and incredibly disappointing. A luxury vehicle should not have this many significant failures in such a short span of ownership. Between the repair costs, downtime, and constant concern over what will fail next, this car has completely destroyed my confidence in the BMW brand.
