The contact owns a 2022 Kia Niro. The contact stated that while driving from a complete stop at 5 MPH, the vehicle was T-boned on the passenger's side by a Jeep Grand Cherokee driving at high speed. Due to the impact, the contact's head struck the dashboard. The other vehicle fled the scene of the crash. The airbag deployed on the passenger side but did not deploy on the driver's side. No warning
... light illuminated. There was no reported fire. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a tow lot, where the contact was informed that the vehicle would be destroyed. The contact sustained an eye and face injury, body aches, and a detached ear. Medical attention was received at the hospital, where the contact was stabilized and referred to the Primary Care Physician for future care. The contact called both an unknown local dealer and an independent mechanic, but there was no response. The manufacturer was not contacted. Dealership and GM denied repairs due to the hole being on the "wrong pipe" but the same bracket that is covered broke resulting in the consequential damage. On 6/7 while driving 65 mph I hit a deer on the driver front. My car detected the crash and deployed every airbag inside the car. I received an injury to my legs from the driver's airbag under my steering wheel. If this airbag were not there, I would have had no injuries from this accident. I have missed work and was seen at the local ED for treatment.

We purchased a 2025 Chrysler Pacifica in September 2025. In October, 2025 we begin to receive Urgent Safety Recall notifications regaring Driver Side Curtain Air Bag. My husband went to the dealer where we purchased van and was told we would have to be on a waiting list and we were number 20 on her list. The dealer has never contacted us about scheduling a repair on the Driver Side Curtain Air

The Recall clearly states that because of this defect, "occupant could be ejected during a crash." To us, that seems critical to have repaired. Chrysler evidently doesn't think so putting us at great risk in case we were in a accident. Stated in their Recall: "We are sincerely concerned about your safety and reiterating scheduling a repair". 2017 Hyundai Tucson | VIN: [XXX] | Mileage: 75,000 I have owned this vehicle for approximately five years and have experienced severe excessive oil consumption for the past two to three years. The issue was first discovered when the vehicle entered protective mode due to critically low oil levels despite a routine oil change having been performed only a few months prior. I am currently required to
... add approximately one quart of oil every month to maintain safe operating levels. I visited an authorized Hyundai dealership to have an oil consumption test performed. The dealership informed me that if the test confirmed excessive consumption, I would be required to pay out of pocket for an engine replacement. I declined, as Hyundai Motor America has publicly acknowledged this exact defect in the 2017 Tucson through NHTSA Recall 21V727000, multiple Technical Service Bulletins, and a class action settlement covering 2014-2021 Tucson vehicles with the Nu 2.0-liter GDI engine. My VIN was found ineligible on the class action settlement website despite the acknowledged defect. Hyundai has admitted this engine suffers from premature bearing wear, excessive oil consumption, and risk of engine failure and fire. I am requesting NHTSA investigate why my VIN falls outside current recall coverage despite presenting identical symptoms to affected vehicles. Claims not to be covered under current recall, advising the recall be extended to all 6.2 19-04 Chevy models as I experienced the same engine failure as recall states.

Sept of 2023 car was making a knocking noise. (128K ) Took to local Acura dealership. Told they could not find anything and told to drive the car till failure. I was driving and all of a sudden my break pedal was inoperable. It was stiff and unable to be used. Luckily I was only going 40 MPH. I pulled into a parking lot and my car started shaking and apparently the metal parts from the vacuum pump blew into my engine, which completely wrecked my engine. I nearly could have died and now my 2021 car is completely destroyed.
