Incident Narrative

An employee was standing on a 13-foot-high plank while installing shoring for building an apartment complex. The employee was tied off to the plank that he was removing. The plank dropped to the ground, pulling the employee down 13 feet. He sustained fractures to his upper leg, pelvis, and three right-side ribs as well as a sore right shoulder.
