An employee had climbed the derrick of a workover rig to cut a rope that was caught in the tubing board. When the tubing board fell and released, it bounced the rig and the employee fell. He caught himself on a section of the derrick frame about 10 to 15 feet below, stopping his fall but suffering a spinal injury at the neck, internal bleeding, lacerations, and contusions.
