Consequence: A detached front grille deflector may become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

The second-row center seat belt webbing may be damaged. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies."
Consequence: A damaged seat belt may not adequately restrain an occupant, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Tacoma 4-wheel drive vehicles. The rear brake hoses can be damaged if mud and dirt builds up inside the rear wheels. This can result in a brake fluid leak.
Consequence: A brake fluid leak can reduce braking ability and increase the risk of a crash.

Consequence: A leaking brake tube can delay the front brake actuation time, extending the distance required to stop and increasing the risk of a crash.

A software error prevents the awning control from being locked in certain situations as intended.
Consequence: Unlocked controls allow the awning to be extended while the vehicle is moving, increasing the risk of a crash.

The third-row passenger seat belt assembly may not function, due to incorrect routing that traps the seat belt behind the passenger side panel. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
Consequence: A non-functioning seat belt cannot properly restrain the seat occupant, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

(Samsung SDI) is recalling certain high voltage battery packs, installed in certain Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) vehicles (NHTSA recalls 24V-720 and 24E-080), Volkswagen/Audi vehicles (NHTSA recall 24V-898) and Ford vehicles (NHTSA recall 24V-954). Please see the attached document for a list of affected part numbers. The high voltage batteries may fail.
Consequence: Battery failure can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash. Battery failure can also increase the risk of a fire.

The floor wiring assembly beneath the front passenger seat may become damaged, which can prevent the front air bags and seat belts from deploying properly or cause an unintended side curtain air bag deployment.
Consequence: Air bags and seat belts that deploy improperly or an air bag deploying unintentionally can increase the risk of injury in a crash.
