THE INCIDENT DATE THAT THIS OCCURRED ON WAS THE THIRD TIME IT HAPPENED. I DROVE THIS CAR WITH NO PROBLEMS EXCEPT FOR THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKE LIGHT AND FASTENED SEAT BELT LIGHTS COMING ON PERIODICALLY FOR THE PAST MONTH. WE HAD AN UNEXPECTED SNOW STORM, AND I HAD DRIVEN APPROXIMATELY 10 MILES AND NOTICED WHEN I HAD STOPPED AT A CONVENIENT STORE THAT THE BATTERY VOLTAGE LIGHT CAME ON. I TOOK IT HOME ,AND A COUPLE OF HOURS LATER WENT TO THE GROCERY STORE. THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKE LIGHT, FASTEN SEAT BELT LIGHT, AND BATTERY VOLTAGE LIGHT CAME ON. AS I PULLED INTO THE PARKING LOT THE CAR DIED AND I WAS UNABLE TO RESTART IT EVEN THOUGH THE LIGHTS, RADIO AND ETC WERE WORKING.*AK THIS PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED TWICE BEFORE IN THE PAST. I HAD GOT THE FUEL INJECTORS AND STARTER REPLACED, HAD THE BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR CHECKED WITH NO PROBLEMS. A COUPLE OF WEEKS LATER, I WENT TO START IT AND SUPRISINGLY IT HAD STARTED. SO HE RECOMMENDED WE TAKE IT BACK TO ORIGINAL DEAL WE HAD PUT ON THE TIRES. MAR.8TH TAKEN TO TIRE SHOP THEY ROTATED 3 FO THE TIRES AND LEFT THE BAD ONE IN PLACE. MAR 21ST BACK TO OUR MECHANIC WHO AGAIN CHECKED ALIGNMENT PER TIRE SHOPS SUGGESTION. OUR MECHANIC ALIGNED CAR BUT SAID THAT WASN'T THE PROBLEM. SO HE MOVED THE TIRE TO THE BACK AND PUT ON A CAM BOLT TO HELP KEEP IT RIDING AS SOOTHE AS HE COULD. MAR.26TH RECEIVED A VERY RUDE PHONE CALL FROM CINNCINATTI STATING THEY HAD TALK IT OVER WITH TIRE SHOP AND WERE TOLD THEIR WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE TIRE EXCEPT THAT OUR CAR WAS INPOOR ALIGNMENT. I TOOK MY CAR IN FOR FRONT BRAKES ON 11-25-00. I WAS TOLD THE BACK BRAKE PADS WERE WEARING UNEVENLY AND THAT I WOULD NOT HEAR ANY "WEAR NOISE" BEFORE THE PAD WORE THROUGH AND WRECKED THE ROTORS. THE MECHANIC SAID THE "SLEEVE" GM INSTALLED TO MOVE THE BRAKE PADS WAS "SEIZED". HE SAID THE "KIT" HE WOULD USE WOULD FIX THE PROBLEM. THIS EXTRA COST FOR 2 REAR CALIPERS WAS INCURRED BY ME BECAUSE GM'S FACTORY INSTALLED CALIPERS WERE INFERIOR. I ALSO LEARNED THERE IS A CLASS ACTION SUIT TO HELP CUSTOMERS LIKE ME WHO HAVE THESE BAD BRAKE PARTS.
