WHILE STOPPED AT A STOP LIGHT, ANOTHER DRIVER INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE BRAKE LIGHTS WERE NOT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD ALREADY BEEN REPAIRED UNDER THE RECALL AND COULD NOT BE REPAIRED AGAIN FOR FREE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,700. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE HEATER FAN RELAY WAS BURNING AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 144,000.
