The electronic steering gear (steering rack) on my 2021 Chevrolet Bolt has malfunctioned, causing the steering to feel rough, stiff, and sticky. Crucially, the steering wheel fails to naturally return to the center position after completing a turn, forcing me to manually pull the wheel back straight
... . This poses a severe safety hazard, as the vehicle will continue turning off the road or into oncoming traffic unless actively corrected, and the increased physical resistance makes precise lane adjustments difficult at highway speeds. The car software seemed to be experiencing a few glitches, and we arrived home and put it in park. Then front passenger door would not open from the inside, nor would the rear passenger doors, with kids in the backseat. Despite locking and unlocking, the doors would not open. I climbed out the dri

The driver door would open and everyone climbed out. I plugged the car in, and got back in to try and perform a soft and hard reset, and none of those functions were working. Car was parked in parking lot and was not moved. When I returned to my car after working I got in and looked out my rearview mirror as I was about to put car in reverse to notice that my rear window did not look right. After getting out of the car to investigate, it was found that my rear window had
... been completely shattered. The window had no obvious area of impact, as if something had accidentally hit it or as if someone were trying to break in. It appeared to have self-shattered. This was also confirmed with police report filing. I was also told that the only reason my window still remained in place (even shattered) was because I had a tint film over it.Read more

The transmission fails to go into neutral unless completely stopped. Also, the dash will show the bike is in neutral occasionally when coming to a red light/intersection, and when you release the clutch lever, the engine will start lunging the bike forward in a jerking motion (false neutral indicati
... on). My safety is put at risk as having the motorcycle refuse to go into neutral poses a risk for injury or an accident to myself and the other vehicles around me. The dealer informed me that the bike's clutch cable was out of adjustment, they adjusted it, it improved, but it has gotten worse once again. I contacted Moto Guzzi and they have not responded in any way. This was 2-3 days ago. The motorcycle is brand new with less than 100miles as of this writing, and no other lights or messages on the dash related to this problem. The problem has existed since I purchased the bike. I was informed by the dealer that the concern will improve with time. Safety needs to be consistent, not something I have to wait to finally occur. As it stands, the transmission is unacceptable, though the rest of the motorcycle is fantastic. I've been riding almost 30 years with 25+ motorcycles. This isn't normal and hasn't occurred with any other motorcycle I have ridden. No other motorcycle shifts this poorly.Read more

A check engine light came on and when diagnosed it was the Electronic Vacumn Pump which runs the braking system. I see there is a TSB from FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) about this problem.. Case Number: S1805000006 Release Date: 02/24/2020 Symptom/Vehicle Issue: ESC Light Illuminated. DTC C1252
... -92 VACUUM PUMP CONTROL CIRCUIT And Or P258B ELECTRONIC VACUUM PUMP PERFORMANCE Discussion: If ABS has C1252-92 Active or Stored do not replace the brake system module (ABS). PCM may also have set P258B-00. The faults are pointing to vacuum pump system having an issue maintaining vacuum levels. Please check the vacuum pump operation, fusing, wiring, and connector for proper functionality. Poor connections, spread pins, damaged connectors are possible causes. Perform the diagnostic for the DTC P258B regardless if it is set or not, since it is more compressive of a test than C1252-92. In addition when checking Vacuum lines, please ensure to check Vacuum hoses and check valves between the engine intake, booster and vacuum pump. Because the check valves only allow flow of air on one direction, each vacuum circuit must be checked separately to make sure there are no leaks, kinks or damages. Please refer to the correct vacuum diagram. For KL vehicles: inspect ALL under hood grounds for connection and contact issues. My Jeep is at the Ford Dealership I work at at this time. I received an email notifying me of a safety recall related to the propulsion battery on July 26, 2021. This notice did not offer an opportunity to schedule a repair. I have contacted my dealer periodically requesting a repair. On November 25, 2022, I received a text message specifying Recall # N212
... 345941, which corresponds with a propulsion battery replacement. This text, and a subsequent notice by mail, offered my first opportunity to schedule the battery replacement. My local dealer is not authorized to make the repair. I have contacted a dealer authorized to make the repair, 70 miles away, and I am awaiting notice that the replacement battery is available to install. The delay in offering this repair has been unreasonable, and unsafe. Because my daily commute is long, mountainous, cold, and windy, I cannot safely limit my battery charge in the manner instructed in the initial recall notice. I have relied on the express warranty indicating I will be able to charge the propulsion battery to 100 percent, and I believe the sequence of recalls and delayed repair constitute a breach of express warranty, and a breach of an implied warranty of merchantability. This manufacturer should be systematically compensating its customers for supplying an inherently dangerous defective product, and for failing to repair the unsafe condition in a timely fashion. The defective propulsion battery has placed me and my family (and my passengers and neighbors) at risk of death due to fire and toxic smoke inhalation in the vehicle and in my driveway and attached garage. NHTSA should investigate both the deadly defect and the unnecessary and unreasonable delay in the repair offered by the manufacturer, and impose proper penalties. I will be pleased to participate in your investigation and provide any information you need, including testimony and other evidence. You should be aware I entered into a settlement agreement with GM to buy back a defective 2019 BoltEV (VIN 1G1FY6S07K4107084).Read more
