THE DRIVER SIDE HEADLAMP LENS HAS AN INCORRECT AIM PAD NUMBER ON THE LENS. THIS DOES NOT COMPLY WITH FMVSS NO. 108, "LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT."
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE DRIVER SIDE HEADLAMP ON VEHICLES WITH THE CORRECT OUTBOARD LOWER PAD NUMBER.

AS A RESULT, THE PASSENGER SUSTAINED LEGS INJURIES THAT REQUIRE MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. BOTH (DRIVER AND PASSENGER) FRONTAL AIRBAGS ON MY 1995 BUICK LESABRE DEPLOYED WITHOUT REASON ON JUNE 27TH AND 28TH 2015. ON THE 27TH, THE PASSENGER AIRBAG DEPLOYED WHILE I WAS COMING TO A STOP AT A RED LIGHT. NO ONE WAS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT THOUGH IT SPILLED SODA OVER THE BACK SEAT. ON THE 28TH THE DRIVER AIRBAG DEPLOYED WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON I76, GOING ABOUT 70 MPH. MY RIGHT WRIST WAS INJURED AND IS RED AND SWOLLEN BUT I DO NOT THINK IT'S BROKEN. THE HORN THEN STAYED ON AND I EVENTUALLY PULLED OVER AND REMOVED THE FUSE FOR IT. (BTW WHICH DUMB ASS PUT THE HORN ON THE SAME FUSE AS THE POWER LOCKS AND INTERIOR LIGHT?) IN NEITHER CASE WAS THERE A COLLISION OF ANY KIND THAT CAUSED THE AIRBAGS TO GO OFF. I NOTICED AN AIRBAG LIGHT ON THE DASHBOARD AFTER THE FIRST AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT, COULD HAVE BEEN ON BEFOREHAND BUT I DIDN'T NOTICE IT UNTIL AFTER.

WE WERE DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE IN PA, WHEN THE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON. ABOUT TEN MINUTES LATER THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIRBAG DISCHARGED IN MY WIFE'S FACE, THEN A FEW SECONDS LATER THE OTHER SIDE WENT OFF. WE PULLED OFF THE HIGHWAY, GOT OUT OF THE CAR, RAISED THE HOOD, UNPLUGGED THE HORNS, STARTED THE ENGINE AND CONTINUED TO OUR DESTINATION FOR 3 HOURS. AS WE CONTINUED UP THE HIGHWAY THE RAIN BEGUN TO ENTER THE CAR AND FILLED UP THE FLOORBOARD OF THE CAR MAINLY ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. AT 10:15 PM JUNE 21 2012 MYSELF THE DRIVER AND MY NEPHEW 12 YEARS IN AGE GOT DONE EATING AT RESTAURANT GOT IN THE 95 BUICK LESABRE ENTERED THE KEY IN THE IGNITION DID NOT TURN THE KEY OVER JUST PUT IT IN THE IGNITION SAT THERE FOR ABOUT A MINUTE AND TALKED ABOUT WHAT WE WERE GOING TO DO NEXT A MINUTE LATER THERE WAS A LOUD BOOM LOOKED OVER TO SEE THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG WENT OFF INJURING MY NEPHEW HE SUFFERED REALLY BAD BRUISES TO BOTH LEGS AND A NASTY BRUISE TO HIS STOMACH. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 BUICK LESABRE. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 25 MPH WHEN THE BOLTS THAT HELD THE STEERING BOX TO THE FRAME FRACTURED, CAUSING LIMITED CONTROL OF THE STEERING. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN SLOWLY TO THE DEALER WHO ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE BOLTS WERE FRACTURED BUT THE TECHNICIAN ALSO ADVISED THAT THEY WOULD NOT MAKE ANY REPAIRS DUE TO THE AGE OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL MECHANIC WHO DRILLED A NEW HOLE REPLACED THE OLDER BOLTS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 225,000.

THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A LOCAL MECHANIC WHERE THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE ENTIRE AIR BAG SYSTEM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT DID NOT CALL THE MANUFACTURER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 196,000.

THE INSULATION ON THE WIRES OF THE FUEL SENDING UNIT, INSIDE THE FUEL TANK, MELTED TO EXPOSE BARE WIRING CAUSING FUEL PUMP TO SHORT OUT. SIGNS OF EXCESSIVE HEAT MELTING THE WIRING HARNESS/CONNECTOR, INSIDE THE FUEL TANK, ALSO OBVIOUS. SIGNS OF THIS HAPPENING INCLUDE FUEL GAUGE INDICATOR SHOWING PAST THE FULL MARK AND VOLTAGE INDICATOR BEING PULLED DOWN TO BETWEEN 7 AND 9 VOLTS.

UPON FURTHER INSPECTION THE BOLTS OF THE CRADLE( UNDER ENGINE SUPPORTS WERE BROKEN. THANK GOD I WASN'T DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY SURELY MYSELF OR SOMEONE WOULD HAVE BEEN KILLED OR INJURED. HUSBAND AND WIFE WERE DRIVING ON CURVY ROAD, APPROX. 30 MPH, WHEN PASSENGER AIRBAG UNEXPECTEDLY DEPLOYED, HITTING THE WIFE. VEHICLE STARTED FILLING WITH SMOKE. HUSBAND MANAGED TO PULL OFF INTO A PARKING LOT AND THEY EVACUATED THE VEHICLE. WIFE RECEIVED BRUISES AND CUTS ON HANDS AND LEGS FROM AIRBAG, WEDDING RING WAS DAMAGED, AND BOTH INHALED SMOKE. POLICE WERE CALLED BUT WOULD NOT COME TO THE SCENE SINCE THERE WAS NO OTHER VEHICLE INVOLVED. THERE WAS NO IMPACT OR REASON FOR AIRBAG TO DEPLOY. WIFE WAS TREATED BY DOCTOR FOR INJURIES. VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED YET. ALSO, SINCE THAT INCIDENT, THE DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG HAS ALSO DEPLOYED WHILE CAR WAS BEING DRIVEN. GM WAS CONTACTED BUT NO RECOMPENSE MADE AS OF MAR 2010.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 BUICK LESABRE. WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH IN TRAFFIC ON THE HIGHWAY, THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG SPONTANEOUSLY DEPLOYED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. AFTER CAREFUL INSPECTION, AN INVESTIGATOR CONCLUDED THAT WATER ENTERED THE AIR BAG MODULE, WHICH CAUSED CORROSION AND UNWARRANTED DEPLOYMENT. A POLICE OFFICER STATED THAT THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO HER VEHICLE THAT WOULD CAUSE THE AIR BAGS TO DEPLOY. SHE CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND IS WAITING FOR A RESPONSE. THE 95 BUICK LESABRE, I HAVE OWNED THREE OF THEM NOW, AND THIS WILL BE THE THIRD TIME I'VE REPLACE THE IGNITION CYLINDER AND KEYS DUE TO A SECURITY SYSTEM PROBLEM. THIS IS ABOUT A 500.00 PROBLEM EVERY TIME! FROM WHAT I'VE HEARD THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE. I'M A SINGLE FATHER AND DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO BE SHELLING OUT WHEN THIS PROBLEM OCCURS. FROM WHAT THE REPAIR FACILITY SAID THIS COULD BE FIXED WITH A LINKABLE FUSE, SO THAT FUSE WOULD GO INSTEAD OF THE IGNITION WIRES BURNING UP. THIS REALLY IS A SIMPLE WAY AROUND SPENDING 1,500.00 DOLLARS ON THIS PROBLEMS. THIS IS ANOTHER REASON WHY I WON'T BUY AN AMERICAN CAR AGAIN. *TR

WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE TIRE HAD EXPLODED, WHICH CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE FRONT FENDER. THE TIRE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THEY STATED THAT THE BELT MALFUNCTIONED. THE CONTACT DID NOT NOTICE ANY DIFFERENCES BEFOREHAND. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 109,880.

I HAVE MATRIX MULTI-MILE TIRES ON MY CAR THE NUMBERS ON THE TIRE ARE 95S P205/70R15MTS. MY CAR HAD BEEN SITTING FOR APPROX. 8 HOURS AND THE RIGHT FRONT TIRE EXPLODED MAKING A BIT HOLE IN MY RIGHT FRONT FENDER. THE DAMAGES WERE ALMOST 800.00 AND I FEEL THAT THE OTHER ONES MAY DO THE SAME. THE TIRES WERE ALREADY ON THE CAR WHEN I HAD BOUGHT IT AND THEY HAVE A LOT OF TREAD ON THEM. THERE IS NO EXPLANATION OF THIS OCCURRENCE AND I FEEL THAT THE TIRE COMPANY SHOULD PAY FOR THE DAMAGES TO MY CAR AND ALSO REPLACE MY TIRES.*TR

MY AIRBAG DEPLOYED UNEXPECTEDLY AS I WAS DRIVING FOR NO APPARENT REASON. I WAS ABOUT 1 1/2 BLOCKS FROM MY HOME ON A QUIET RESIDENTIAL STREET WITH NO TRAFFIC. I WAS GOING 15-20 MPH. THE WAS NOTHING IN THE ROAD, WEATHER FINE. MY HANDS WERE BRUISED FROM THE IMPACT. MY RIGHT JAW AND EAR ARE SORE, RINGING AND MUFFLED EAR SOUNDS. NO ONE CAN EXPLAIN WHY THIS OCCURRED. I WENT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM FOR A QUICK CHECK. MY INSURANCE IS QUESTIONING WHO IS RESPONSIBLE AND OUGHT TO PAY. I HAD MY FRONT BRAKES REPLACED AS THEY WERE IN NEED OF IT DUE TO UNEVEN STOPPING, BUT REASON MORE SO WAS THE ABS LIGHT WOULD KEEP COMING ON. THE BRAKES FEEL LIKE THEY ARE GOING TO FAIL, NOT ALLOWING YOU TO COME TO QUICK STOP AS NEEDED, EVEN AT A STOP SIGN OR LIGHT. THIS STILL HAPPENS EVEN AFTER BRAKE WORK WAS DONE. MECHANIC SAID THE ABS SENSOR WAS IN THE WHEEL BEARING AND WOULD COST OVER $300 TO CHANGE THAT. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTS AND I AM AFRAID IT IS GOING TO CAUSE A SERIOUS ACCIDENT, FOR EXAMPLE, SHOULD SOMEONE PULL OUT IN FRONT OF ME AND I AM UNABLE TO STOP DUE TO ABS FAILURE. AFTER THE LIGHT COMES ON, AFTER INITIAL FAILURE TO STOP, THEN IT WORKS FINE UNTIL IT SITS FOR SEVERAL HOURS AND REPEATS IT AGAIN. THIS IS VERY SCARY SITUATION AND NOW CONSIDERING OUR DAUGHTER, 16, IS DRIVING TOO MAKES IT EVEN MORE OF A HUGE CONCERN.

WHILE DRIVING IN A RAIN STORM AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT CAME ON. THE FOLLOWING DAY BOTH FRONTAL AIR BAGS DEPLOYED WHEN THE CONSUMER STARTED THE VEHICLE. DEALERSHIP INDICATED THAT WATER FROM THE RAIN STORM ENTERED INTO THE AIR BAG MODULE SENSOR.
