On XXX at approximately 12:30–1:00 PM, I was backing my Tesla Model Y out of my garage. While reversing, I felt unusual vibrations coming from the vehicle. After backing out, I shifted the car into Drive and attempted to make a left turn. At that point, the vehicle would not turn, and it began producing significant noise and vibration. I exited the vehicle to inspect it for any obvious issues,
... such as an object lodged underneath the car or a flat tire. I found no visible obstructions, and all four tires appeared to be in good condition. I then drove the vehicle forward toward my driveway and garage area and inspected it again. During this inspection, I found a finger-sized screw or bolt underneath the vehicle. I attempted to reverse the car once more, but the same problem occurred: excessive vibration and an inability to steer either left or right. There were no warning lights, alerts, or notifications displayed on the Tesla screen at any point during this incident. I subsequently contacted Tesla Roadside Assistance and requested that the vehicle be towed to a Tesla Service Center. Tesla remotely accessed the vehicle data but informed me that they could not detect any issues based on the vehicle diagnostics. They suggested that I drive the vehicle to the service center. I explained that the vehicle was unable to turn left or right and that I did not believe it was safe to operate under those conditions. At the time of the incident, I was accompanied by my [XXX] father-in-law, and we were preparing to travel to an urgent care facility. The vehicle had been operating normally the previous day. The vehicle currently has approximately 32,077 miles and is approximately 2 years and 5 months old from the date of manufacture. The vehicle has no history of repair work or tire service performed outside of Tesla-authorized service. My primary concern is the significant safety risk presented by this failure on public space. I own a 2022 Nissan Rogue that has experienced multiple critical safety defects. The vehicle has repeatedly lost engine power without warning, exhibited delayed acceleration, and failed to engage gears—creating dangerous driving conditions that have put me at risk. Service History and Warranty Disputes: February 20, 2026: I brought the vehicle to the dealership after experiencing loss of engin
... e power. Diagnostics revealed that the EGR Pressure Sensor had internally shorted, causing a loss of communication diagnostic trouble code. The service department replaced the exhaust gas pressure sensor assembly. Despite the defect being a manufacturing fault and my purchase of a wraparound warranty, I was charged out of pocket for this repair. When I questioned the warranty coverage, I was transferred to consumer affairs and informed that only the dealership determines what is covered—an unsatisfactory response to a valid warranty claim. May 20, 2026: I returned to the dealership after the vehicle lost engine power again and lurched violently forward with jerking motions. The service department replaced the engine mounts. However, after only one day of driving, the same dangerous symptoms returned. May 29, 2026: I brought the vehicle back to the dealership for recurring loss of engine power, delayed acceleration, and violent lurching. The service department replaced the EGR system, which subsequently caused the spark plugs to warp. I was charged $400 for this additional repair, despite these being recurring manufacturing defects that should be covered under warranty. Conclusion: This vehicle demonstrates a pattern of dangerous, unresolved mechanical failures. The repeated issues—combined with warranty coverage disputes and repeated out-of-pocket charges for factory defects—indicate serious safety and reliability concerns with this 2022 Rogue.Read more

The rear service brake assembly—specifically the rear brake pads and rotors—suffered premature wear and catastrophic structural failure. The defective parts are not available for inspection, as they were discarded by Firestone during the emergency repair to restore the vehicle to a safe operating condition. The problem was first confirmed by an authorized manufacturer dealer, Larry H. Miller V
... olkswagen Tucson. It was subsequently confirmed, documented, and repaired by an independent service center (Firestone). The vehicle and the failing brake components were physically inspected by the manufacturer's authorized dealership service department at Larry H. Miller Volkswagen Tucson prior to the repair. No dashboard warning lamps or error messages illuminated. The symptoms appeared suddenly at approximately 33,200 miles in the form of severe metal-on-metal grinding noises, a vibrating brake pedal, and noticeably reduced stopping power during routine deceleration.Read more

The vehicle was towed to an authorized Hyundai dealership, where diagnostic testing identified multiple high-voltage battery system fault codes: • P0B68 • P0B6D • P0B72 The dealership diagnosed a high-voltage battery system failure requiring battery replacement. The vehicle is currently non-drivable. During my research, I found multiple owner reports involving Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid vehicles experiencing loss of power, hybrid system failures, limp mode conditions, and propulsion-related incidents. I also learned that Hyundai previously issued Recall 18V166000 involving 2016–2018 Sonata Plug-in Hybrid vehicles due to battery management system and voltage protection device concerns that could result in loss of power while driving. 2020 Hyundai Sonata SEL Plus, VIN [XXX] . A/C system fails due to refrigerant leak that empties the system completely within 1-2 weeks of recharge. Leak cannot be located through standard external inspection. First noticed reduced cooling summer 2025. Driver's side loses cooling first, then passenger side fails days later — pattern consistent with evaporator core leak in dual-zone system. In Sep
... tember 2025, independent shop found system completely empty, recharged it, and attempted leak detection but could not locate source. Approximately two weeks later, system was empty again. Shop still unable to find leak. Symptom pattern — rapid total refrigerant loss, asymmetric failure (driver side before passenger), no externally detectable leak — points to evaporator core, which is enclosed in the HVAC housing behind the dashboard and invisible during standard inspection. Vehicle has 50,125 miles, still under the 60,000-mile warranty limit after 6+ years. Low-use vehicle averaging under 8,000 miles/year. 5-year calendar warranty expired approx. Jan 2025; issue first documented Sept 2025, only 8 months later. Defect was almost certainly present before warranty expiration. A class action investigation is underway (XXX) for premature A/C failures in 2018-2022 Sonata, Elantra, Palisade, Santa Fe, and Tucson vehicles. Loss of A/C in Texas climate poses risk of heat illness to occupants, especially children. This component should not fail at under 50,000 miles. At 10,000 miles Upon starting the vehicle, it appeared to operate normally with no warning messages displayed. However, immediately after beginning to drive, the transmission began shifting extremely harshly between gears. Within a short distance, the transmission shifted with such force that the drive wheels briefly lost traction and the tires chirped/skidded. At the same time, a warning message
... appeared on the instrument cluster stating: "Transmission overheating – vehicle is still safe to drive." Prior to this incident, there were no transmission warning lights, messages, or noticeable symptoms. The vehicle was taken to an authorized Volkswagen dealership for inspection. The dealership retained the vehicle for approximately 14 days but was unable to duplicate the condition. The dealership advised that they found no faults, could not identify any transmission issues, and could not locate any record of the transmission overheating warning message in the vehicle's history. The sudden and severe transmission behavior created a safety concern because the unexpected harsh shifting and loss of traction could have caused loss of vehicle control, particularly in traffic or adverse road conditions. To date, the cause of the condition remains unknown.Read more

My vehicle is currently experiencing active, dangerous symptoms related to the open FCA/Stellantis Power Transfer Unit (PTU) safety recall (Recall Campaign 40D / NHTSA Campaign 23V-407). ... driving or parking. The Problem with the Manufacturer’s Response:The manufacturer has issued a "remedy not yet available" notice and has failed to provide a replacement part to fix this known safety defect. Local dealerships refuse to repair the vehicle because the re-engineered recall part does not exist yet. Furthermore, the manufacturer and dealership have failed to provide a safe loaner vehicle or an immediate stop-gap repair while my vehicle remains unsafe to operate.Safety Risk:I am being forced to either drive an inherently unsafe vehicle that faces an active recall for sudden loss of motive power, or leave the vehicle completely inoperable without alternative transportation. The manufacturer's unreasonable delay in producing the remedy part, combined with a lack of interim consumer support, poses a severe and direct risk to my safety, my passengers, and other drivers on the road. I arrived at my house 10 minutes after the incident and inspected my car. I determined the noise I experienced was the panoramic sunroof, of which the front panel spontaneously exploded while operating the veh

The sunroof had a large hole in the center directly under a luggage rail, and the glass around the hole was angled upwards. The small shards of tempered glass were contained on top of the sliding sunroof shade. There was no foreign object, damage to the soft interior sliding shade, or any dents/scratches on the roof. Had the sliding shade been open, the shards would have rained down on me and any passengers (none at time of incident). There were no vehicle warnings of any kind. I took it to the Toyota dealer who inspected the damage but refused to cover it under warranty. I filed an insurance claim with photos and it was approved for repair.Read more
