Subject: 2019 Jaguar XE – Recall H535 Did Not Restore Rear Camera Function I own a 2019 Jaguar XE that experienced rear-view camera failure consistent with Recall H535 regarding rear camera wiring issues. My rear camera stopped functioning before recall service, which is why I brought the vehicle to the dealer. After performing the recall repair, the dealer advised that the camera itself may h
... ave failed and may require replacement outside the recall remedy. My concern is that the recall-related condition either caused or contributed to the camera failure, and the recall remedy has not restored operation of the rear visibility system. Vehicle Information: * Year/Make/Model: 2019 Jaguar XE * Recall Number: H535 Current Condition: * Rear camera remains inoperative / camera function has not been restored after recall service. * Dealer indicated camera replacement may be needed separately. * I am requesting review of whether the recall remedy adequately addresses failures associated with this defect and whether damage caused by the recall condition is being excluded from repair coverage. Taligate is rusting through near the handle as well as around the right taillight. Another recall for this exact issue is in place for the same year/make/model, yet my vehicle is not included in the recall. Faulty seals allow water to get into the tailgate and rust from the inside-out. Honda has told me they won't help even though it is a known issue (recall).

Post-Recall Low Oil Warning + Performance Issues on 2021 GMC Yukon Denali – Campaign 25V274000 Vehicle: 2021 GMC Yukon Denali, 6.2L V8 Recall: 25V274000 Owner: One owner since new (purchased 2021) I had recall campaign 25V274000 performed on my vehicle. This was the first low oil warning I have ever received since purchasing the SUV new in 2021. I have always followed the vehicle’s oil life mo
... nitor with no prior issues. The change oil light appeared at roughly 7,500 miles after the recall service (when I already had a service appointment scheduled). About one week later, the low oil warning came on. I had the vehicle towed to the dealership and did not drive it after the warning. Since the recall service, I have also experienced performance issues including noticeable stuttering that was really evident before I towed it in. The dealership initially agreed to a consumption test but later acted like it was not needed, said everything was fine, and were dismissive — blaming me for not following their sticker. I am concerned the recall remedy is not fully effective. Please investigate this matter. The vehicle has an unresolved electrical/propulsion failure involving sudden shutdowns while driving and CAN C bus/lost-communication faults. Since the high-voltage battery was replaced through a recall-related repair, the vehicle has had repeated shutdown/loss-of-communication events, occurring dozens of times. In the most serious incidents, while driving at speed, the dash flickered, windshield
... wipers activated unexpectedly, headlights turned off, turn signals would not work, and steering locked or became difficult to control. The vehicle then completely shut off while still moving. After shutdown, the hazard lights would not work. One documented incident occurred on the interstate at about 70 mph. This puts occupants and others at risk because the vehicle can suddenly lose motive power and critical electrical/control functions at the same time, including lighting, signals, hazards, instrument display, and steering/control assistance. The vehicle has been inspected multiple times by a Chrysler dealership. Dealer records documented multiple modules losing communication on the CAN C bus. The dealer replaced the shifter module as a possible contributor, but the problem continued. The dealer later corrected loose pin tension at a communication/star connector, but the vehicle continued to shut down and later scan reports still showed widespread active/stored CAN and lost-communication faults across powertrain, hybrid control, body control, braking/ABS, steering, and shifter-related systems. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. The problem has been confirmed by dealer scan reports and repair records, but the root cause remains unresolved. The manufacturer has been contacted through customer care and repair/scan documentation was submitted. The exact root cause is UNKNOWN, but dealer findings indicate an unresolved major electrical/CAN communication problem possibly involving the harness, connector network, or communication system.Read more

My 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan (VIN: [XXX] ) is experiencing excessive engine oil consumption. The vehicle requires oil replenishment every less than 1,000 miles, which is far beyond what any reasonable consumer would expect from a properly functioning engine. I reported this issue to the Volkswagen dealership while the vehicle was still under the manufacturer’s warranty. The dealership stated that t
... his level of oil consumption is “normal” and only added oil without performing any diagnostic testing or repairs. No repair order documenting a defect was issued, and no corrective action was taken. This problem is consistent with the known defect in the EA888 2.0L TSI engine, specifically the defective piston rings that fail to create a proper seal, allowing oil to leak into the combustion chamber and burn off during operation. A class action lawsuit has been filed against Volkswagen regarding this exact defect in 2022–2023 Tiguan models. The excessive oil consumption poses a serious safety risk. If oil levels drop critically low without warning, the engine could suffer catastrophic failure, stall unexpectedly, or overheat while driving — all of which significantly increase the risk of a crash. Despite this being a warranty-covered vehicle and a known manufacturing defect, Volkswagen and its authorized dealership have refused to repair the issue or acknowledge it as a defect. I am requesting that NHTSA open a formal investigation into this matter and consider a safety recall for all affected 2022–2023 Volkswagen Tiguan vehicles. Hyundai - DAW - Driver Attention Warning / Forward Attention Warning System This issue warrants immediate consideration for a recall. Despite wearing glasses, sunglasses, or no glasses, the problem persists. I occasional do remove my glasses while driving, and the warning continues to sound. This occurs regardless of the time of day, weather conditions, or whether I am sitting upright or reclining
... . The warning randomly activates and deactivates, sometimes without any intervention. Occasionally, I simply allow the warning to sound without taking any action, and it remains active for a few seconds or until it triggers a warning that the system will be turned off, at which point it deactivates. I have attempted various troubleshooting methods, such as keeping my eyes open, adjusting my seating position, wearing and removing my glasses, and tilting them to minimize glare. None of these methods have proven effective in preventing the warning from activating or in making it deactivate. This is a persistent problem. Hyundai dealerships initially informed me that the warning might be an annoyance and their response was to simply refrain from using it. However, if a basic feature like cruise control in a 2024 & 2025 model is rendered unusable due to a design flaw (which this certainly is), it constitutes a clear violation of safety standards and should be addressed through a recall. The incessant alerts are highly disruptive and can be quite frustrating. For instance, driving with an arm in the 12 o’clock position triggers a warning, while wearing polarized sunglasses also results in an alert. The presence of a setting to disable the warning is a welcome feature, but the system’s persistent alerts can be overwhelming. The alerts continue even after taking a break. It is distracting and a safety hazard. Drivers should be able to adjust the sensitivity of the feature to turn off this feature. Currently, there is no way to disable or temporarily disable this feature.Read more

Component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/LOW VOLTAGE BATTERY, PROPULSION system:Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU) Description: This vehicle previously had the mandated safety recall software update (Campaign SC327) applied by an authorized Kia dealership in December 2024 to protect the Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU). The corporate recall remedy failed. In January 2026, the vehicle suffered
... a sudden, catastrophic loss of motive power while driving on a public roadway due to a total ICCU failure, which created an immediate hazard for myself and my young child who was inside the vehicle. When the primary ICCU component failed, it starved the low-voltage system, causing severe deep-discharge damage to the 12V battery. Following the warranty repair of the ICCU in February 2026, the vehicle was returned to me. However, Kia's official corporate diagnostic and repair procedures for this defect are fundamentally flawed and incomplete; they do not mandate a comprehensive load-test or automatic replacement of the 12V battery following an ICCU collapse. Because of this failure in the official repair procedures, the vehicle was returned to service with a critically compromised low-voltage system. This directly resulted in recurring battery warning messages over the subsequent months, culminating on May 29, 2026, in a secondary, total 12V battery failure that completely bricked the vehicle. The failure of the manufacturer's official safety recall remedy and the subsequent inadequacy of their post-failure service protocol left this vehicle in a chronically un-roadworthy and unsafe condition.Read more

I pulled my car out of the garage and proceeded to drive up the street. I suddenly heard a weird sound and an emergency warning appeared on my dashboard stating to check vehicle electrical system. When I turned on the car to back it out of the garage it got halfway out and the entire system shut down making everything inoperable including flashing emergency lights, windows etc. there was very little time between the warning light going on and the car becoming inoperable. The dealer diagnosed a failure of the ICCU system which has been reported for several years. A quick Google search reveals that many Ionic owners have experienced this failure. I was incredibly lucky that this occurred within a block of my house. The previous night I was driving home on the LA freeways. Had this failure occurred at night on the freeway it could have been life threatening as there is very little time to get to safety and the hazard lights and all electronics become useless. The dealer said that they will be replacing the ICCU system with a better one. If that is the case then why wasn’t this car recalled and the ICCU replaced?Read more

On three separate occasions — May 17, May 20, and May 29, 2026 — the vehicle's Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) / Collision Mitigation Braking System activated without cause while traveling at highway speed (one of these occasions was on an interstate). On each occasion, no vehicles, pedestrians, or obstructions were present ahead of or around the vehicle. The road was clear. The activation p
... roduced a large bright yellow dash notification and the vehicle's brakes activated. Minor children were passengers in the vehicle during these events. The vehicle has an active Florida Lemon Law case with multiple prior documented electrical nonconformities. When I attempted to schedule yet another service appointment to have THIS defect diagnosed, the dealer, who sold me the vehicle, refused to service the vehicle due to the pending lemon law status and directed me to contact Honda Corporate. When I asked the dealer to provide their refusal and the requirement for Corporate authorization in writing, they declined to do so. Honda Corporate has not responded in over 72 hours. Photo and video evidence of other nonconformities is available.Read more

During normal driving conditions the vehicle had set code P18A1 in the ECM. Code set due to an internal short in one of the solenoids in the valve body assembly. This caused the vehicle to display "Limp Mode" and lose reverse gear and propulsion over 45 mph. The vehicle was parked and towed to the dealership for evaluation. Upon inspection by a certified dealer technician, it was found that a sol
... enoid had failed and required replacing. As part of the entire valve body, the solenoid is not a serviceable part. The dealership had to replaced the entire valve body assembly per repair guidelines. Per the GM and NHTSA websites, my 2022 GMC Yukon XLT with a 10-speed transmission is not included in the recalls listed below even though the symptoms are identical. General Motors publicly acknowledged the 10‑speed transmission valve body and solenoid defects, including internal electrical and hydraulic failures, through Safety Recalls, Special Coverage programs, and Technical Service Bulletins applicable to 2020– 2022 full‑size trucks and SUVs, including the GMC Yukon. My vehicle’s model year, transmission type, failure code (P18A1), and repair align with those documented GM conditions and should be included in this recall.Read more
