I turned the vehicle to park in a diagonal spot, and it would not stop. I had taken my foot off the gas just prior to starting the turn and then tapped the gas in the turn. After I tapped it an physically brough my foot back to the seat and then placed it on the brake, it accelerated. It drove over a curb, through a metal barrier and into a glass door and stopped at the side mirrors while my foot
... was firmly pressing the brake down. The cops on scene said the video looked like I was accelerating, but like I said I was firmly pushing down on the brake. Only the left rear brake light worked and is hard to see because the plastic cover is damaged. Prior to the accident the vehicle did not have the ABS light blinking, but it was blinking when I retrieved my personal items out of the vehicle 2 days later. There was a woman bending over/ in the corner by counter in the store and had the vehicle not stopped when it did, she would have been hit; when she stood up mere inches from the trunk, this put me, the driver into shock.Read more

I own a 2018 Honda Accord equipped with the 1.5L turbo engine. The vehicle is experiencing a head gasket failure consistent with numerous complaints reported by other Honda owners online and through NHTSA. My vehicle began showing symptoms including rough cold starts, engine misfires, loss of coolant without visible leaks, and reduced engine performance. Diagnostic testing indicated head gasket f
... ailure and coolant intrusion into the cylinders. The repair cost quoted to me is extremely expensive. This appears to be a widespread defect affecting 2018 Honda Accord 1.5T vehicles. Many owners are reporting similar failures at relatively low mileage, often involving cylinder misfires, overheating, coolant loss, and major engine damage. This issue creates a potential safety hazard because the vehicle can suddenly lose power, enter limp mode, or stall while driving. Honda should investigate this issue and provide assistance or recall coverage for affected vehicles. Consumers should not be responsible for major engine repairs caused by an apparent design or manufacturing defect. Vehicle: 2018 Honda Accord 1.5TRead more

This vehicle was sold to me by Front Royal Ford on August 16, 2025 with an UNDISCLOSED active safety recall. This vehicle recall still shows as active and the car remains in an "unsold" status within the Ford system, since they legally were not permitted to sell me the vehicle. I only discovered this after the car's engine light went off in September 2025, and a dealership in Indiana refused to
... initially do any work on it, stating it wasn't under warranty. The first repair was on September 25, 2025 and the repair was stated as a loose wire, the second repair to replace an actuator was on December 16, 2025, and it's presently undergoing a third repair for an engine misfire that occured on May 17, 2026. At this point, the repairs all related to the engine qualify for the lemon law and the car was never supposed to be sold with an open safety recall.Read more

Vehicle has an issue with the transmission control, it will not reliably shift into the appropriate gears as it gains speed, often slipping & shuddering, sometimes even slamming into a higher gear. Audi has a TSB for remedy (Audi Technical Service Bulletin 2070965), in which is stated that "There is a software error in the transmission control module." This indicates that this is an ongoing issue with this component. This would be the 3rd engine in this Kia. It only had 30k miles on the new motor. Engines last longer than that. I’m now stuck as a travel nurse with finding another vehicle. This is just wrong. I missed work trying to find a car. Has there been any complaints about the replacement motors seizing up and blowing? Online searches show it happening to a lot of people with these Kia souls. Idk what your company does but everyone said to let you know. Idk how that helps but here it is. Can anything be done? My mechanic came by to look at it and said the motor is blown. It has an appointment at dealership for official diagnosis of blown motor.Read more

While operating my 2026 GMC Yukon AT4 (VIN [XXX] ) on [XXX] Pelahatchie, Mississippi, the panoramic moonroof spontaneously shattered at highway speed. No impact, no debris strike, no external cause. The failure produced a violent report and showered tempered glass into the cabin, forcing an emergency stop on the shoulder during heavy commercial truck traffic — a serious secondary-collision risk
... caused directly by the failure. I spent hours roadside clearing glass and duct-taping the open roof aperture to make the vehicle minimally drivable. Nighttime wind forced an unplanned overnight stay in north Alabama before a multi-hundred-mile drive back to Washington, DC with the vehicle compromised. In DC, I was forced to park the visibly compromised vehicle in a high-foot-traffic area with work valuables that could not be removed, then drive 20 miles to the dealer in heavy rain the next morning — exposing cabin, electrical systems, child seating positions, and headliner to water intrusion. The shattered glass fell directly above the second-row positions where my [XXX] and [XXX] daughters ride daily. They were not present. Had they been, close-range tempered glass would have created serious risk of injury to face, eyes, and airway, plus driver-distraction crash risk at highway speed. The vehicle is approximately [XXX] weeks old. This is the second manufacturing safety defect in under one month — the first a second-row driver-side captain's chair latch defect, filed separately. Replacement moonroof glass is on national back order until ~June 1, 2026; the vehicle will be out of service over six weeks. NHTSA's 2017-2021 panoramic sunroof investigation closed without action despite thousands of similar complaints. The pattern continues into the 2026 model year on GM's flagship full-size SUV. I urge NHTSA to track this and similar reports across the 2025-2026 Yukon, Tahoe, Suburban, and Escalade for a defect investigation. 1) within three months of vehicle purchase (and in perpetuity to-date ever since), the infotainment system intermittently causes static/crackling when connected to CarPlay. 2) within six months of initial purchase (and in perpetuity to-date ever since), also between each subsequent biannual oil change, electronic system would randomly notify that there was a malfunction with rear collision sensors
... or front collision sensors. Diagnostics being ran each time found no issues. Dealership workers suggested that it may have to do with the sensors being blocked by light, and that diagnostics found no resolve. 3) May 15, 2026, 3 years and 3 months after purchase, the vehicle suddenly wouldn’t start. I was able to drive home from work, and two hours later when I went to start the vehicle, it would click as if the electrical system was connecting online, but not detecting that I was pressing the brake pedal to turn the vehicle on. All interior lights were operational and stayed lit, suggesting that it likely wasn’t an issue with the battery itself or the starter itself… But potentially a connection issue between the starter and the mechanism that turns the engine. If this issue is also electrical, it suggests that the other intermittent issues may be related - warning signs that it would eventually cause the vehicle to be non-starting. As far as safety concerns with the issue, as it presented itself, not being able to detect vehicles with electronic malfunctions periodically can cause issues while driving; infotainment system failure can make any emergency calls requires a non-starter; and lastly, not being able to start the vehicle could lead to being stranded. 70+ complaints have already been issued regarding electronics specifically. It is noteworthy that I’ve also experienced issues with the CVT as it’s been described by other drivers, namely, that from what I’ve noticed, RPMs fluctuate widely when trying to accelerate between 30-40 and 50+ mph.Read more

Steering is loose and unresponsive at times. Just bought the 2013 truck, used, from a dealer. Dealer stated no issues, but discovered while driving it home on the highway. Feels very unsafe and by researching other complaints, with same make and model, it appears this is a serious issue replicated across many different owners, with similar make/model/year.

Description of Incident: While stopped at a red light at a busy intersection near a shopping district, the vehicle's Auto Idle Stop (AIS) system engaged and shut off the engine. When I attempted to restart by pressing the brake pedal — as instructed — the vehicle failed to restart. The dashboard displayed an error message reading "Idle Stop Function: Press Brake to Restart." My foot was on th
... e brake pedal at the time; pressing it did not restart the engine. I then manually shut off the vehicle using the Engine Start/Stop button and attempted to restart it. The vehicle would not start. I remained stranded at the intersection for approximately 10 minutes. I had to call the cops for a patrol car because other cars were piling up behind me and I had my 6 month old son in the vehicle. Safety Impact: During this time, I was unable to move the vehicle from a live traffic intersection. This created an immediate safety hazard to myself, my family, and other drivers.Read more
