An employee was installing siding for a new construction single family home from an elevated working platform. He fell between the 14" gap between the platform decking and the wall of the house as he was walking up to the end of the scaffold. He fell 17 feet to the ground and sustained broken ribs and internal abdominal bleeding. The scaffold was not properly inspected.
