Incident Narrative
An employee was on a ladder repairing a service drop from a pole to the customer's home. The employee cut the wire at the mid-span, causing the wire to release tension. The employee fell from their ladder onto the paved roadway below and sustained head/facial abrasions as well as an L1 vertebral fracture.
