Incident Narrative

Two employees were assessing and diagnosing a maintenance problem with a bone broth kettle. While looking at the issue, air pressure was removed from the system and the lower kettle door opened, splashing both employees with boiling broth. Employee 1 sustained thermal burns to the arms and one leg. Employee 2 sustained thermal burns to both legs.
