Incident Narrative
An operator turned off the extruder when a maintenance worker told him to turn it back on. As he was turning it back on, he purged the machine. Air was caught behind some plastic, causing the 325-degree plastic to shoot out and hit the employee's right arm. The employee suffered third degree burns.
