Incident Narrative
An employee was in the basket of a mobile scaffold that was elevated 40 feet. The employee was using an impact driver to install metal braces on steel girders and joist. The scaffold operator attempted to drive around a 4x4 that was positioned on the right side of the bay. The right tire rolled over the 4x4 and the mobile scaffold overturned. The employee struck the concrete floor and sustained broken ribs and bruised lung.
