Incident Narrative

An employee was washing building windows when the clamp supporting him slipped off the parapet wall. He then fell approximately 36 to 42 feet, striking a tree and then landing on the grass lawn below. He broke his right arm, six right-side ribs, and one vertebra, requiring hospitalization and surgery. The clamp was not tied back to an independent life line at the time of the incident.
